Mo, where do I start to talk about this wonderful professional who is now more than just a realtor…read moreto me and my family, but a sister and friend. in 2019, I accepted a transfer from Baltimore to Dallas. I had never been to Dallas before, so I came down in July of that year, on my own, to scout for homes to rent or buy. I tried for three days and got nowhere. I returned to Baltimore, hoping to get some feedback from the many agents I had reached out to -- no luck. I eventually connected with a childhood friend who lived in Dallas and in response to my question, she said she would check to see if anyone in her network had someone I could connect with. She gave me Mo's information and I got in touch and we clicked. She was very instrumental in helping our family get the home in McKinney, where we have been since August 2019. Up to two weeks before we left Baltimore, there was no idea what property we would be moving into. First weekend in August, I drove down 1330 miles in the Penske Rental, with my wife's car in tow. Seeing the home, I realised it was an excellent choice and that but for Mo, this would not have happened. A few days later, Mo came to check on the family and to be sure they were okay, and to find out if there was anything else they would need, as I had returned to Baltimore, to continue working, as my company would not release me till the first week of October. (The kids had to get settled in school in August). Mo and I have been in touch ever since, speaking two to three times a week. She continued to give advice on housing, to make sure we were comfortable. All this time, we had not met in person. We kept hoping to meet, but our schedules would not align and I teasingly told her I was upset that she met my wife and kids before me, lol. 2020 came and all plans to meet up got postponed due to the emerging pandemic. However we still kept in constant communication, talking about everything --- sports, food, recipes and of course homes. I told her at a point we were going to extend the lease of our rental, but with a view to give us time to find property to buy. Mo gave good advice on when to start looking and she was very professional in helping us narrow down our options. We eventually met in January 2021, when we went to Princeton to look at homes. We were both excited as it was our first meeting in person. Mo was gracious enough to spend almost an entire Saturday with us, looking at homes and offering advice, while at the same time, filtering down to establish what we would need. To shorten this, we have been able to identify what will be our ideal home, that will be built from scratch. Again, Mo has helped tremendously with the entire process. My wife and kids are very excited. My 15 year old daughter adores her (my daughter plays basketball at high school and club level and hopes to play in College and the WNBA, just like Mo did). Mo is very knowledgeable on real estate, especially in the Dallas Market. She is very thorough and is a good advocate for her clients. To most who have passed through her hands, friendships have been developed. My family is thankful that she has been a blessing to us. When we move into our new home, she will definitely be our first guest for dinner or lunch. I am sorry this review is long, but I truly appreciate what Mo has been able to do for us, complete strangers to her, till we met in 2019 and now she is not only my realtor, she is a friend and sister. My wife, kids and I recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor with a big heart, a professional that will stand in as your advocate and a person with whom life-long friendship is cultivated and sustained.
