The parking lot was in great condition. My one complaint has to do with the free breakfast. The food itself was ok, considering the hotel doesn't have a real kitchen. I really didn't like that they used paper plates, plastic cups and utensils and didn't have recycling receptacles. The paper plates even said that they're recyclable! There were just trash cans. It might be something to be bugged about but I wish they recycled. I'd stay here again.

We have a travel trailer and couldn't be happier with the set ups, the dump station is nice to have on site as well for departure. We did not expect, and really love their automated outreach when you're there checking in to make sure everything is ok, you can even order firewood, ice, s'mores kits, etc for reasonable prices. We've never had an issue and will continue to book here for many years to come.

Very little room for privacy, if any at all. The cabins facing the lake are a little farther apart, and appear to be the nicer cabins. I was considering this place till I saw the prices per night. Quite a bit more than the other place I'm considering. The two cabins in the pictures are really nice, and definitely my favorites. But price matters. We'll see!

She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly via text and phone calls. The Cabin was very clean and comfy. Everything seemed to be in working order (tv, electric fireplace, appliances...) The Bear Cabin has plenty of kitchenware for eating and meal prep. Basic bathroom essentials were also available. The other two cabins-Lighthouse and Fish are right next door and a mobile home community behind the property. Noise level was low between the nearby road and the mobile home community. Mostly just heard some music from the guests in the lighthouse cabin the first night (~40 ft away) but the noise was not super loud. Overall, it really was a good stay and I wouldn't mind staying here again if hiking brings us back to this area. I have the feeling Stacy has been burned by some irresponsible guests in the past based on conversations and another review seen on Yelp. My friend and I felt as thought she was pretty reasonable with her expectations though. Don't think you'd been disappointed staying here.

The cabins are right next to the road, and there were loud pickup trucks revving their engines at all hours. Overall, it felt like we were staying in a camper. It was a good price, and I'd rather have stayed here than a hotel. However, next time we visit Lake Texoma, we'll stay someplace larger and quieter.

A winner's spirit and a servant's heart. I had 2 chance encounters with both 2nd-floor housekeepers, Terry & Shaquoia - kind & helpful women, whom I doubt most people say thank you to them very often.
