It's very peaceful, not a party place, with great views of the water if you're in an RV. We have a travel trailer and couldn't be happier with the set ups, the dump station is nice to have on site as well for departure. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly via text and phone calls. The Cabin was very clean and comfy. Everything seemed to be in working order (tv, electric fireplace, appliances...) The Bear Cabin has plenty of kitchenware for eating and meal prep. Basic bathroom essentials were also available. The other two cabins-Lighthouse and Fish are right next door and a mobile home community behind the property. Noise level was low between the nearby road and the mobile home community. Mostly just heard some music from the guests in the lighthouse cabin the first night (~40 ft away) but the noise was not super loud. Overall, it really was a good stay and I wouldn't mind staying here again if hiking brings us back to this area. I have the feeling Stacy has been burned by some irresponsible guests in the past based on conversations and another review seen on Yelp. My friend and I felt as thought she was pretty reasonable with her expectations though. Don't think you'd been disappointed staying here.

The carpeting felt dirty, so I didn't go barefeet. There was a lamp shade sitting on the desk near the entrance. Not sure why they didn't replace it (see photo attached). There was mildew around the tub, and the entrance to the hotel was visibly trashy. The front desk staff was not rude or anything like that but they were not very welcoming or friendly. I plan to visit Denison again in the future, but I won't be staying at this hotel.
