Number 1 proximity to the park, we didn't want to be exhausted from a long day of hiking only to have to drive a long way to call it a night. But this Villa was awesome! Located right in the park there was a nice convenient place to relax at night after a long day of being outside. Number 2 was that there were so many things to do in the park we were never left wondering where we wanted to go or what we wanted to do. Ron who rented us the cabin was so helpful and pointed us in the direction of some maps, the waterfall, and even a cool abandon old Castle that was a short hike away. We are not one to hike very often, however this was a great place to getaway and unwind from the hustle of work. So if you are not planning a beach vacation and are looking to mix it up a bit maybe a cabin in the woods might be your thing this year.

My kids love going to Turner Falls more than going to the beach. The river is within walking distance to the cabins and it's so convenient. I love that the park is patrolled by police, it just makes you feel extra safe especially with having your kids with you. The owner of the cabins is such a nice guy, he is always there to help make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons: DIRTY CARPET (carpets and rentals don't mix), only one burner worked on the stove top and it took forever to warm up ( would not boil water), no oven, the front door was really hard to open, no outdoor lighting or outdoor plugs, very small grill, the fireplace was permanently sealed off with a piece of plywood, no fire pit, refrigerator kind of acted up some of the fruits and vegetables for freezing, dirty curtains around the beds, the cooking utensils were not what i expected... we had to go buy a larger skillet and silverware no coffee pot but a very old microwave that we did not use, make sure you bring TP! Think of this as if you are camping in a camper or tent... bring everything you would need just keep in mind the plus side of having indoor plumbing and an air conditioner with a heater! Things we were thankful that we brought: Grill lights, Solar string lights, radio, extension cord, knife, cutting board, toilet paper, paper towels , cleaning supplies, trash bags and towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. We had a great time and plan on coming back! Literally a Mile away from Turner falls. We just felt like the cabin had a lot of potential that was being neglected. Little things could make it so much nicer.

We rented two cabins (5 & 6) for a family of 20. Mr. Kiser set the window unit A/C's on a certain…read moretemp and told us not to touch it because it will freeze up. Each cabin has two window units (one down stairs and one upstairs) with two old ceiling fans on top floor. Cabin 5's A/C were working excellent (very cold) but Cabin 6's A/C's were not working, they were blowing out hot air. We called Mr. Kiser twice and he didn't answer. The Wi-Fi did not work either. The cabins were clean and the beds were comfortable. But in the summer with 100 plus degree temps and no A/C working makes your stay awful. The coffee maker as so dirty and the handles on the fridge looked like they had not been cleaned in some time. There was another camper there in another cabin, we thought it was Mr. Kiser but it wasn't. We asked her to call him for us an guess what.... He picked up when she called. This is the only way we got to talk to him about the A/C's for Cabin 6. He didn't want to hear our concerns nor come out to look at the A/C's. We lost respect for him after this call. We will not be going back.

Just a few minutes away from all the entertainment at the Turner Falls area. This place was immaculate! Full size kitchen, room for four people, and best of all our dog was welcome with a small deposit. Well worth the great price. Had such a beautiful stay. Thank you both so much.

The space they put us , next to it ,had a very old ,gutted 4 parts, RV that must've been there for years . Internet is nonfunctional usable for Internet service or fire. Stick to watch movies. I complained to the owner, he agreed this wasn't an abnormality and made no attempt at thinking it needed to be fixed. What could be improved they need to trim the trees so your RV doesn't drag the branches. And maybe price it accordingly . $50 a night parked next to something that probably hasn't paid anything in years doesn't seem quite right.

I truly wanted to love this place as I have seen many people do, but I left feeling a little…read moredisappointed in the experience. The owners seem like wonderful and kindhearted people. They clearly value faith, connection, and relationships-- which I absolutely love! They even have an entire lobby and breakfast area with Christian books, movies, and snacks. There were a few things that made our trip a little less comfortable. First, we tried to contact the owners multiple times and never received a response back. They have signs posted saying that guests should feel welcome to reach out via text anytime, but every time we did... we heard nothing. The thing that I am having difficulty getting past was a stain on the comforter of the bed... there was a clear blood stain on the quilt, which made us feel uneasy. We texted the owner asking where we could find extra blankets, since we didn't want to use the comforter, and didn't receive a response back... This made me question the cleanliness of where we were staying. To be fair though, everything else seemed clean! I write this to be constructive and truthful. I'm not sure that we would stay here again, but I can tell many people value and cherish La Ville inn, including the sweet couple we met in the lobby during our stay.

(The only suggestion I have is to bring a noise machine, box fan, etc as it is located on a very busy main road with a lot of semis, and a train track nearby. We used an app in our phone which was perfect), There is a small kitchen area with coffee, snack items, bagels, fruit, etc which is complimentary. The king sized bed was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom is huge, with a massive shower and jetted tub, double sinks and a closed off area for the toilet. There is a living area, a big closet, and ample room for everything! There is a roomy fenced in deck which was lovely, just no light out there after dark which made it a bit difficult. This is definitely for couples, I wouldn't bring my kiddo for sure. (Which we did not) We will definitely be back! Loved it!

You're a bit at the mercy of whoever is there. A lot of people were there for the day backed up to a covered spot and blaring music. There was a depressing amount of trash around. The castles are neat and after doing some web searching we found some history about them (not offered by the park itself which is odd). Some areas feel pretty unsafe. The store just sells towels, $2 water shoes for $20 and life vests. No swimming allowed today (it's still winter and because of flooding) but a lot of people were in various areas of the river. The bathrooms were spread around the upper areas and I think mostly for campers and cabin folks. No one is policing anything though. The ports potties were rank.
