The other staff was super sweet, especially the reception desk who worked with me to reschedule last minute. There's also parking, which is a huge plus. I didn't know before, but still found street parking only a block away. I also thoroughly enjoyed the salt room, such a cool touch. I've had massages in sterile white rooms before, but the salt room was fun. I will definitely be back.

They were friendly but not in that fake way that you see in a lot of the surface industry. I was offered a choice between tea and water and was given my paperwork to fill out. My facial with Terril was very relaxing. We went into the treatment room and discuss what my concerns were with my skin and what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. Terril was very attentive, asking questions along the way. One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. My skin felt amazing when she was done, even though she had to do a few extractions. I was so pleased that I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a few months out so that my skin will be able to recover from the upcoming summer months. I highly recommend checking out this wonderful little spa and I look forward to returning for my next facial.

I'm definitely going back! Overall I had a very relaxing time and the staff was friendly. I went in…read morefor my first time for just an hour visit to enjoy the amenities. It's noon on a Thursday so I got the whole place to myself. The only things I would say needs improvement is none of the lockers had functioning or working keys/locks so I couldn't safely secure my personal items and I had some anxiety about leaving my items in the women's room unsecured. Another issue was the shower faucet took a few minutes to warm up and I wasn't warned about it so I fiddled with it so much at first that I just ended up taking a cold shower. It just would have been a good idea if they just told me how to turn on the faucet and to wait a few minutes for the warm water to kick in, when they gave me the tour. And the button for the body wash kept popping off. So just some minor things need updating. The steam room was fantastic tho! I love the mix of eucalyptus. It really helped my stuffy sinuses. The hot tub is amazing! I love how the seats kinda cradle your butt. I usually have a hard time in hot tubs cuz they push me off the seat. But not with this design! It's wonderfully made and I love the stars and candles. I didn't think it'd use the "cool plunge " but once I realized it wasn't cold it was much needed after over heating myself from the steam room and hot tub. I didn't think I would enjoy the UV room but I actually did! It was very relaxing. The hot tea and snacks are also a bonus. Just a very well done business idea and something I've been looking for. I think the price is more than reasonable for what you're getting. I'll be back! I did mention a couple of my concerns with the staff and it sounds like they do plan on getting new locks in the future so I really hope they live up to that because they have you sign a wavier that basically says they are not liable for stolen items. I have trust issues and have had things stolen out of lockers in my past so this is kind of a big concern of mine that I just hope they can fix quickly. Thanks again Santé spa! You have a new fan. I'm coming back with friends and or family next time!

I've been getting massages for over 40 years, and I was really looking forward to a foot soak and…read moremassage at LaLumiere after reading the Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible for the following reasons: 1. On the page under "Massage Enhancements - Epsom Foot Soak" the business promises an Epsom Foot Soak for new clients to enjoy while they fill out paperwork. I arrived 15m before my appointment and asked about the foot soak. The receptionist was not at the desk, so the question was posed to a massage therapist who showed up and said that the receptionist was preparing it. I was given paperwork to fill out which I did without the aforementioned foot soak. 2. When I was shown to the massage room, the foot bath was there, and I asked whether the 15m foot soak would be counted as part of my massage. The therapist, Anita, left the room for 10m (part of my massage time now) and came back to say that the foot soak would not be offered. Instead she said she would add on a paraffin treatment for my hands and feet. 3. The actual "deep tissue" massage was a lot of petting and short superficial strokes. She did identify and dig in deeper to sore glut muscles which helped relieve some tension, but it was not the deep tissue massage I had expected, and she did not address my primary concern (bursitis). 4. She ended the massage after 50 minutes (minus the time she left the room). 5. She never followed through with the promise of a paraffin treatment. Even though I was offered a discount, I left more stressed than I arrived. This is not the way to treat anyone. Never promise something you can't deliver.

Hands down one of the best massage experiences I've had, ever…read more From the sweet and helpful service when scheduling, to the day before reminder calls, to the warm welcome when you arrive, you enter a place where you can leave whatever is bothering you behind. I start relaxing by perusing and sampling the nice array of aromatherapy oils you have to choose from. (Lavender sandlewood is a favorite.) I turn down the wine service they offer, in favor of water or tea. I've seen Max now a few times, and he's great. Gets down to business, not too light, not too deep, comfortable working in quiet, responsive to requests and has a great energy to create and hold a space where you can just relax and let him do all the work. Whether I just need to relax and recenter, or if I'm coming in with certain complaints, I always leave in a much better state than I arrived, and the benefits don't usually fully roll around until the next day. And two words: HOT STONES. Yes, please!! Part of the regular service (not an add-on like at some places). The blankets on the tables are so soft and heavy, the bedding is in nice shape (so many places keep them until the are pilly, scratchy messes) and the environment is super serene and relaxing. This is a happy place!

The spa bliss signature facial was amazing, personalized and I was glowing when completed. I also had the spa bliss signature foot treatment which was also amazing. Hailey Fox gave both treatments and I would highly recommend her. The Oasis is very nice. They have set up a lot of options for you to enjoy the space how you want. While they provide a rejuvenate and relax sequence, you are free to roam and try everything. Lastly, I have the aromatherapy massage with Hannah. Hannah was very attentive as it took a few mins to adjust the table for maximum comfort. The service was good, very relaxing and comforting, which was exactly what I expected. The lunch was a charcuterie tray, light and filling. A very good selection of cheese, meat and fruit. Perfect light lunch. Let's talk price... the services are competitive with comparable spas. The lunch at $32 and seems a little high when I can get a charcuterie tray at one of the local wine bars for under $20. I would skip next time. The Oasis was $55, which if I were coming in just for this, would be reasonable. For the whole package we were hoping for a price break and a lower cost for the Oasis would have been nice. There was no price break for the package of services we purchased. I would come back, it is a very nice place and very nice people!

When I turned from prone to supine, which is a moment every properly trained therapist handles by looking away and securing the drape, Jerry was looking straight at me. His eyes were right above the sheet line while my chest was uncovered. It was so disturbing and shocking I didn't know what to do, and immediately felt dirty and at fault for no reason. This is a basic, non-negotiable professional boundary, and he crossed it. I've filed a formal complaint with management and requested a refund, disciplinary action, and a policy review -- including offering clients the option of a same-gender therapist at booking. If you're a woman booking here, ask specifically who your therapist will be and whether you can request a female therapist. You shouldn't have to, but until management addresses this, protect yourself.

You can also soak with the purchase of a service in the spa (massage, facial, nails). I find that the services are luxury pricing with slightly less than luxury service, so I skip them. It's a saltwater pool, kept below 101 degrees Fahrenheit. I know because I tested it to see if I was safe to soak while pregnant years ago; yes, I brought my own thermometer! Because that's what scientists do. You can bring in beverages from elsewhere on property but please not glass! The teahouse has yummy options but limited hours. You need a key to get in, and there's two large heated bathrooms to change in.

This review is based on a facial service I had with Haven Day Spa on NYE. I can't seem to forget…read morethe details, so consider this my "therapy". I had a $100 certificate as a gift from a March birthday. I stated to the woman who answered the phone that I had this certificate, made my reservation, and arrived on time. I have never had a facial before, so not knowing what to expect, I requested the Express Facial (a $65 service value). My appointment started late, because the receptionist (?) was busy upselling lotions to another client and allowed her to use the remainder of the gift certificate she tendered for payment. More on this later. One of the reasons I wanted to try a facial is because I have a few very large and noticeable blackheads on my face that I would love to have extracted. Do they perform this service? According to their website, absolutely. The person giving me a facial told me it wasn't necessary. Even after looking through a magnifier. Okaayy. Fast forward to the time for payment. I surrendered my gift certificate upon checking in for my appointment. Remember: GC = $100, service = $65. I paid the clinician a cash tip. When I went to the counter to check out for services rendered, the receptionist said "that will be it then!" I was a little surprised, so I took the bait of the upsell scheme, a $30 product, hoping she would do the right thing and use the remainder of the GC amount. Instead she asked for further payment. I left feeling as though this business must need the money more than I did, so it felt fine. As I have sat with it for a month and a half, it no longer feels that way. Should I have said something then? Absolutely, yes I should have. I didn't and I own it. $35 is not going to make or break me. The reason for this review? To put my experience out there in hopes it gets read and doesn't happen to any one else....especially if $35 is a vital part of a budget. The two stars are the clinician. I am still not sure what to expect with a facial.
