I love Pooch Pawlor! We've been coming here for about a year now and they always do a great job. The service is awesome and Frankie is well taken care of. In the past with other groomers she's come back with small cuts or really janky hair cuts but that's never happened once we found these guys. Our family dog (small Maltese mutt) has been coming here for years. We dropped him off for his routine grooming appointment. When we picked him up he had a huge cut (1.5-2 inches) on his body! It was red, oozing, and absolutely painful. When we asked what happened they said it was a bug bite. I'm sorry what kind of flesh eating bugs are roaming around your facility? Either way you cut it, none of it made sense! It took over a month for the wound to heal and we're hoping his hair grows back to cover the scar. He's a white dog so a golf ball size scar is VERY noticeable! Again we've had decent experiences over the years but this crossed a line. I understand mistakes can happen but taking responsibility and ownership are pretty basic. The fact that they blamed a flesh eating bug is absolutely ridiculous! Obviously we won't be taking our dog here ever again. You're rolling the dice when dropping off your dog! read more

I was just going to let the incident go and I've taken my dog here a couple of times already but it's been a few days and my once overly energetic dog has now been depressed and unstimulated by toys and treats. What happened was on Saturday 1/8 I took my dog to get groomed for a 1pm appointment and roughly 4 hours later when I went to go pick him up that the lady had accidentally given him to the wrong owner. I was stunned at how the wrong dog was given and how the other person didn't realize that he had the wrong dog... but my dog doesn't socialize well with other dogs and it turns out the home he accidentally went to had 5 dogs. What really didn't set well was that when my dog was clearly stressed and fearful once the man came back with him and the lady only offered $10 off the grooming after the entire debacle. It seemed like a slap to the face and I almost wanted to demand for half off the entire grooming but I was just glad to get my dog back and I wanted to leave. I was just trying to forget it ever happened but since my dog is still depressed from the incident it just makes me more infuriated when I think back on it. I cannot recommend this groomer to anyone else anymore. read more

We've been taking our little (not really little) puppy at this place for the last year or so. Not only is their staff super sweet, considerate and kind to the pups (and their humans), but what I most appreciated was that they are very accommodating and understanding. My dog gets anxiety of being inside a crate. They made sure to not have him inside the crate but rather take him for a shower right away (with an appt) and call me few minutes before he was actually done so they didn't have to put him in a crate. I am very upset. Even though I mentioned to them several times not to touch the ears or tail they still proceeded to cut the ears. The ears were in perfect condition, they weren't tangled or messed up and it made me very upset when they didn't follow any of the directions i gave them, but even though they asked if i had any special requests and even wrote down what i told them in big letters, I even mentioned i had a bad experience the last place I went to and they told us they wouldn't touch the ears at all. They also called back an hour later telling me to pick the dog up so I don't believe they took their time, I think they rushed it and tried to finish fast. Once i told them i was upset it's almost like they didn't really care, they said "all i can do is just apologize." I do not recommend anyone come to this place. read more
