Holly can be extremely opinionated and rude. We found that out after we had an emergency and…read moreneeded her to come by which she did. That's one facet of having a pet sitter is if something comes up and u need someone. She lashed out at my wife and I questioning why we didn't have them being watched which we did and she made us explain ourselves that we were away and our flight was late etc etc. we had someone staying at the home and the dogs were Alone for a whole 6 hours when we found out our flight was going to be late. People leave their dogs for 8-10 hours a day while they work. She questioned us like we were children We are 50 year old professional adults and have had dogs our whole life. I think she is rude because she doesn't know who "she" is. She's a dog walke. I'm sure so proud. Have no idea but very happy to never have to use her again. Like we would ever use her again anyways. Just aggressively rude. 2 star because she actually showed up but again she thinks she is "gods gift to animal care" Back to her response to me. All of that info which I didn't take the time to read it all still has zero to do with just how rude she was.

Holly has been our saving grace and most trusted person we have welcomed into our life (and our…read moredogs' lives.) We have had her in our family since 2013. We can rely and trust her to care for our boys at a moment's notice (if something happens) or 6-8 months in advance if we're planning a trip away or a summer concert and it's December. She was with us during the loss of our beloved Ronin this past June 2019 when he passed of lymphoma. She came by on his last day to say goodbye and then made him a beautiful shadow box with all of the photos she had taken of him over the years. We all cried together and she truly does think of your dogs like one of her own. When we are away of course we miss the dogs but we never once worry or wonder how they are when Holly is caring for them. She knows their routines, their personalities, lets us know if they are off, or if they are okay, or sad, or miss us. The boys absolutely lose their mind (in a good way) when she comes to see them which makes us feel so good. I have absolutely no idea as to these "rude" comments from the other poster. Holly is not just a "dog walker." She knows animals, behavior, traits. We give her a key to our home. We trust her in our house and with our kids (lets be honest, our dogs are our kids.) She is so much more than a "pet sitter." She is considered to be a member of our family. Her companionship and love for our dogs is incredible. She is reliable, personable, sends us photos while we are away, lets us know how the boys are, leaves us notes, I could go on. Holly, we thank you. We love you - and the boys love you too!

Professional Pet Sitting Etc - Self-explanatory. This lady should've been on the Debate team. She's going to defend this to the death.

While…read morethe person I engaged with was pleasant, the intake process just to understanding pricing and get the pets enrolled is beyond excessive. I've been a dog owner for over 20 years and have experience using several certified dog owners. I received over 5 auto generated emails that printed were over a page each, and when I asked questions on cost, was directed to their client log in page that linked 10+ other pages that when printed were over a page in length. I appreciate the attention to detail, but you need to listen to feedback from many customers - this is way too much time to put on the customer and the content is just too much! Ultimately decided to go a different route because I suspect the process even after enrollment will be a PIA!

They really shower attention on our pets and when we return home we are greeted by a happy cat. There was a time when we needed the sitter to give medication to our cat and I was concerned but there was no reason. We came back and all the medicine had been dispensed properly. I love the notes left by the sitter too. Its such a relief to know that our sweet cat is shown care and attention while we are gone, oh and fed!! Our cat will communicate her upset to us by only showing her back to us. This never happens when we have Professional Pet Sitting taking care of her.

If you're at your wits end with your dog's bad behavior, you've come to the right place. I can't…read moresay enough good things about Rob and his Dogs Listen To Us training program. When I contacted him about our 7 month old beagle Bullet, I was at the end of my rope! He had numerous behavioral issues from the time we brought him home at 8 weeks old. He displayed resource aggression over objects, never listened to anything we said, wouldn't come when called, pulled terribly when walking on leash, constantly walked the floors, slept very little, howled loudly and continuously whenever we put him in his crate, etc. In short, he was completely wild, uncontrollable, and was making our lives miserable every day. By the time I contacted Rob, we had already tried having a trainer come to our house for weekly sessions and completed PetSmart's puppy and intermediate training classes with little to no success. When I spoke with Rob on the phone, it was the first time since the week we brought Bullet home that I truly had hope that he wasn't a lost cause. Rob explained his board and train program and the techniques he uses thoroughly, and I was immediately impressed and felt confident in his knowledge and abilities. Even more importantly, he told me that he definitely believed he could help. When we hung up, I actually began to believe that Bullet's bad behavior could change, and it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. During the training process, Rob brought Bullet home for weekly sessions with us so we could see what he had learned and participate in his training and learn along with him. Every session, Bullet's behavior got better and better, and we were always very pleased with the progress he had made. Those sessions were invaluable to us because of how much we learned about how to maintain his training after he came home. Rob even kept him for two extra weeks at no additional charge because he didn't feel Bullet was quite where he needed to be with his training and wanted more time to get it right. Bullet has been home almost two weeks now, and we are absolutely amazed at how different he is! He listens to and obeys commands, he comes whenever we call him, he heels very well on walks and doesn't pull on leash, he sleeps during the day like he should, sleeps in his crate all night and never whines or howls, and is just an all around good boy. He's so much more content, relaxed, and obedient than he was before Rob's program. Bullet is honestly like a totally different dog. Now we truly enjoy being with him instead of feeling constantly irritated and on edge all the time. Bullet has gone from being a source of constant frustration to being a source of constant joy and companionship. Rob, we can't thank you and Dogs Listen To Us enough for how much you've helped Bullet to become the good dog we sincerely hoped he could be.

After being hesitant about the investment for private lessons, we quickly realized what a tremendous value it was. We told everyone we knew after that first session that we would have paid the full fee if that first session was the only session. Our golden retriever, Huck, was quickly renamed by our friends and family as "good boy Huck" for his rapid transformation. We can now take him into just about any situation with a relaxed mindset and confidence that we have control over him on, or off the leash. Rob's no-nonsense approach put us at ease and simply worked. Our private lessons took place at our house, a couple of other locations "in the world" and ended with dog introductions at his house with some of the board and train dogs. Rob worked to deliver on every single thing we told him we were concerned about when we spoke with him before we started lessons, sometimes remembering concerns that we had long forgotten. We're now taking what we learned in our sessions with Huck to train our now 4-month-old puppy in the same way. We recommend Rob to everyone we possibly can, and will continue doing so every chance we get. Thanks, Rob!

As someone who once worked at a boarding facility, I keep realistic expectations about how much special attention my dogs are going to get. It is very demanding physical work, especially when they are at capacity. If my dog was seriously incapacitated or needed life-saving meds, I would find a different facility that caters to that. We had Max in their daycare program, which he loved, but after a few visits, he was asked not to come back because he was "leaning" on the staff. He's 150-lbs, and leaning is his love language. Since that's 50-lbs more than the average employee there, I totally get it.

The woman at the front desk at pickup (who I believe was the owner) was rude, barely spoke to me other than taking my credit card, and had no reasonable explanation for how my dog got injured - while she stated my older dog nipped at her, the vet told us that it was not consistent with a bite wound after he examined her. My dogs came home smelling so horrible and were so dirty that we had to bathe them before we could give them the cuddles that they clearly had been lacking for their entire stay. Sendaishi's website says they give dogs love and affection during their stay, but ours couldn't stop shaking and clinging to us when we got them back. They also drank what had to be a gallon of water each as soon as we got them into the house. Luckily, we have pet insurance to cover most of the cost of the urgent vet trip, her pain medication, and antibiotics and she's starting to put weight on her injured leg after a few days. Save yourself the trouble, cost, and heartbreak and don't bring your loved fur babies here.

They also said they did transport to the daycare facility and boarding on occasion. It seemed perfect. I should mention that there are Kara's pet care facilities in Portsmouth, Berwick, and Falmouth. First I was asked to set up a meet and greet with one of their associates at my home so she could meet my pets. It took me many tries to get through many unreturned phone calls, but finally we did set up the meet and greet and that went well. Then I was asked to set up an app and an account before we could actually schedule any dog care. So I set up the app and the account. Then I was asked to drive my dogs to their facility to see if the dogs would "be happy there." So I drove my dogs 25 minutes to the facility. When I got to the facility I was told that they were supposed to stay there for a day assessment and then I should come and pick them up. This was not communicated to me earlier, and I had not budgeted an extra hour of driving back-and-forth. Then they would reschedule the assessment and they would come and pick up my dogs for the day-long assessment. All before any dog care could be scheduled. So, still not on the calendar. So to summarize: you need to go through a long process of scheduling a meet and greet, then you need to have the meet and greet, then you need to sign up for the app, then your dogs have to be assessed to see if they will be happy. I'm just thinking that anyone who's busy enough to need dog care is too busy for this multilayered, multi-step, poorly communicated process where phone calls, texts, and emails are returned only about half the time.
