DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! Our dog was unwanted: set up to failure from the get-go!…read moreDiscriminatory is the only word to describe our experience with America K-9 We have a 9-month-old Mastiff mix, best way to describe is temperament is he is just like Ferdinand the Bull; he is large, energetic, but very friendly . Prior to sending him to day care at American K-9. At 4 months we brought him to weekly training session for several months with a different trainer. He excelled to say the least, picking up commands with ease. We then decided it was time to get him socialized with other dogs, & much need play time. We choose American K9, boy, do we now regret it! We brought him in for evaluation, we were told he would be placed with adult dogs because of his size. THEY COULD NOT DESCRIBE AN INSIDENT WERE HE WAS AGGRESSIVE TORDS ANOTHER DOG OR A HANDLER! THEY COULD NOT EVEN DESCRIDE A CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER DOG!! We were told he attempt to hump another dog ; needed to be neutered , he was too aggressive needing to work with "their trainer". We were also told we could continue to bring him for day boarding at a cost that is 80% more that day care & offers less; no socialization only two daily walk place & in a pen to play in by himself for exercise. At drop off or pick up the staff would tell how much they loved him, was even sent a video of him playing. We did opt to go through their "training session", thinking our young pup could use more training. We spoke with Pam (their trainer), teller her about our pups previous training, it was as if Pam did not listen to us. Over the course of several weeks Pam only worked with our pup directly for four (4) fifteen (15) sessions going over the same commands he was already familiar with. Pam herself remarked how well our pup was doing . Was even shown a video of how well our pup was doing. The cost of these "training sessions" was more than his previous weekly training session but cover the same material(?). Wanting to keep him acclimated with the staff & facility, we did continue day board until we got pup nurtured. After his surgery, we kept him isolated at home for several weeks for him to recover & to let the hormones work the way out of his system. Prior to his return to American K-9 , we call with our intent & to verify what else was needed. We were told he should be ok. We brought him back for one day of boarding. IN THAT ONE DAY HE CONTRACTED KENNEL COUGH! We kept him home for an addition 4 weeks for him to recuperate & family vacation. Again, we called to make sure what was need for his return. We were told we need a note from his Veteran (?). We spoke to our veterinarian, who was skeptical about it, how ever did provide us with the note. On the day of his return to day care my partner was greeted by Allicin. Who berated her about kennel cough; shock that we had a note from Veterinarian & did not even bother to read it. Two hours later we received call from Allicin saying our pup is not a good fit cause he is "too big". AGAIN, THEY COULD NOT DESCRIBE AN INSIDENT WERE HE WAS AGGRESSIVE TORDS ANOTHER DOG OR A HANDLER! THEY COULD NOT EVEN DESCRIDE A CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER DOG!! Allicin kept repeating he is "too big" & we could no longer place him day care for this reason. Again, we offered their expensive day boarding & training sessions but offered nothing more! American K9 knew the breed of my pup for the start , failing to initial properly assess him & his ability to obey commands.

We searched the internet and found Top Dog Pet Sitting Service! This company were not only very responsive, including the owner, but they did an outstanding job in reassuring us that our puppy was in great hands! We started by making an account and profile on Chloe and it was so easy and user friendly! We then chose our time of day we wanted them to come and our preferences of how many times and how long we wanted the pet sitter to stay. When everything was booked, we met Cassandra and Alisha and Chloe loved them RIGHT away! That was something my husband and I really liked, is that the sitters who would be watching her, met her prior to us going away. All of this happened in a span of 2 weeks since our original plans of who would watch Chloe fell through. During the trip, Cassandra and Alisha were AMAZING! We received email updates with pictures after every bedtime visit (we chose 3 visits a day with just one update but you can customize to however you want!). Those pictures and updates are what got us through the week! It was great because the girls not only cleaned up fuzz and animal pieces from her toys, but also helped clean the containers that had her food in them. During that week, Chloe was on a special diet of chicken and rice as well as medicine and a powder probiotic. the girls did WONDERFUL with managing that entire situation. Jessica, the owner was also beyond amazing for getting back to us so quickly when it was the day before we left for our vacation and she had to be put on all of this medicine and special diet. This company was amazing and we will most definitely be using them again in the future and going to be requesting the same 2 girls since Chloe loved them so much! I cannot recommend this company enough for all of your dog sitting and pet needs!!! :)

As someone who once worked at a boarding facility, I keep realistic expectations about how much special attention my dogs are going to get. It is very demanding physical work, especially when they are at capacity. If my dog was seriously incapacitated or needed life-saving meds, I would find a different facility that caters to that. We had Max in their daycare program, which he loved, but after a few visits, he was asked not to come back because he was "leaning" on the staff. He's 150-lbs, and leaning is his love language. Since that's 50-lbs more than the average employee there, I totally get it.

The woman at the front desk at pickup (who I believe was the owner) was rude, barely spoke to me other than taking my credit card, and had no reasonable explanation for how my dog got injured - while she stated my older dog nipped at her, the vet told us that it was not consistent with a bite wound after he examined her. My dogs came home smelling so horrible and were so dirty that we had to bathe them before we could give them the cuddles that they clearly had been lacking for their entire stay. Sendaishi's website says they give dogs love and affection during their stay, but ours couldn't stop shaking and clinging to us when we got them back. They also drank what had to be a gallon of water each as soon as we got them into the house. Luckily, we have pet insurance to cover most of the cost of the urgent vet trip, her pain medication, and antibiotics and she's starting to put weight on her injured leg after a few days. Save yourself the trouble, cost, and heartbreak and don't bring your loved fur babies here.

They were also very caring and concerned about my needs as well as my cats needs. I then needed to use this regular vet service because I was thinking my cat had allergy problems while the day before my visit was scheduled. Something had happened to his back end where he was limping. They still took him in under the appointment that I had booked for his allergies. I had a first thing in the morning appointment and they were very busy even at that point I waited about a half hour after my appointment before the vet tech came in. She did some ear swabs to check for an allergy or to check for an infection and then I waited an additional 20 minutes before the results could come back andthe vet to come in the room both Treated me with care and compassion as well as they did my cat they gave me some medication's, They talked me through the treatment plan what they thought it might be. They told me that my cat did have a heart murmur which was new to me and they recommended an echocardiogram which cost around $500.Dollars. I'm willing to go ahead and do that. To provide the proper care that my cat will need moving forward with his life he is only four years old. I did ask about an x-ray for his back area due to the limping. The doctor said I could if I wanted to pay the $250 but she felt that it wasn't necessary. Let's work with the medication's first and then we'll go ahead and do the x-ray if need be and I was OK with that. She said if the injury was very severe, he wouldn't have intermediate limping he would be lame and not moving and intolerable to discomfort. So, with all this being said, I did need to make some phone calls to the vet once I started the medication and to talk over some things that I had questions about after the visit and all of my phone calls were returned and they were all met with my satisfaction and my cats. He's doing much better. We just have to run the course of the medication. I hope that anybody else who uses this veterinarian service has the same encounter me, and my handsome fella have had

My sweet ringneck dove, Peppermint, was injured and starting to show signs of an infection, and I was absolutely terrified. Birds are so delicate and incredibly good at hiding illness until it's too late, so I immediately started calling around trying to find a vet who would even see a bird. Most clinics don't, but thankfully, Bedford Pet Urgent Care told me they could see her the very same day. From the moment we arrived, I felt so reassured. The receptionist was incredibly kind. When I needed to step away to use the restroom while waiting to see the vet, she offered to have Peppermint stay with her at the front desk and interacted with her so sweetly. That level of compassion meant so much to me. The vet we saw, Dr. Penraat, was absolutely wonderful. He handled Peppermint with such gentleness and care that she immediately trusted him (so much so that she happily perched on his head after the exam to show her affection). Watching how calm and comfortable she was with him truly spoke volumes. Dr. Penraat quickly identified the issue and prescribed effective medication, which worked amazingly well. Peppermint was noticeably better in less than a week. I was beyond relieved and so grateful for the excellent care she received. To my fellow bird owners in New Hampshire: I highly recommend them. This was hands down the best veterinary experience I've ever had. Finding a vet who is knowledgeable, comforting, and genuinely caring with birds is so rare, and Dr. Penraat is truly exceptional. He is friendly, thorough, and makes both pets and owners feel completely at ease. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my sweet bird. This experience truly meant the world to me and was definitely a standout one!
