We then chose our time of day we wanted them to come and our preferences of how many times and how long we wanted the pet sitter to stay. When everything was booked, we met Cassandra and Alisha and Chloe loved them RIGHT away! That was something my husband and I really liked, is that the sitters who would be watching her, met her prior to us going away. All of this happened in a span of 2 weeks since our original plans of who would watch Chloe fell through. During the trip, Cassandra and Alisha were AMAZING! We received email updates with pictures after every bedtime visit (we chose 3 visits a day with just one update but you can customize to however you want!). Those pictures and updates are what got us through the week! It was great because the girls not only cleaned up fuzz and animal pieces from her toys, but also helped clean the containers that had her food in them. During that week, Chloe was on a special diet of chicken and rice as well as medicine and a powder probiotic. the girls did WONDERFUL with managing that entire situation. I was nervous to introduce a new groomer (for him and for them). After his first grooming, they realized he was a bit of a challenge and from that point on, he was only assigned to Lee for grooming. She was always pleasant, never complained about his antics and did a great job with him. I could tell she got to know Brady, because she would tell us that she had a system of getting him up on the table (using the lift) as he did not like being picked up. Brady has since passed, but we were grateful to find a nice groomer. My husband has a 7 year old Boxer (Rowan) and she's been going there fairly regularly for boarding and sometimes daycare for about three years. She loves going and we can tell she gets lots of playtime because she passes out in the car on our 5 minute ride home. We've also taken the boxer for behavior training and the instructor was great and the classes reasonably priced. The facilities appear clean and maintained and the staff is always helpful and pleasant. If I had any complaint, it would be that I don't understand the boarding/daycare pricing. It seems like we pay a different rate every time we go... And I can't figure out the boarding + daycare pricing system. I also feel that if you're boarding my dog, daycare should be included in the price. I wonder If I don't pay extra for daycare does my dog have to sit in the kennel all day? Finally, it would be nice if when you first board there, they offered to show you the facilities... Where our dog would be staying. It kind of feels like we are not welcome "behind the staff door"... Where they walk our pups off to at drop-off. I believe the facilities are probably fine, because the rest of the facility looks nice, but it may relieve some concerns when you leave your dog for the first time to have a tour of the boarding kennels and play areas.

People leave their dogs for 8-10 hours a day while they work. She questioned us like we were children We are 50 year old professional adults and have had dogs our whole life. I think she is rude because she doesn't know who "she" is. She's a dog walke. I'm sure so proud. Have no idea but very happy to never have to use her again. Like we would ever use her again anyways. Just aggressively rude. 2 star because she actually showed up but again she thinks she is "gods gift to animal care" Back to her response to me. She was with us during the loss of our beloved Ronin this past June 2019 when he passed of lymphoma. She came by on his last day to say goodbye and then made him a beautiful shadow box with all of the photos she had taken of him over the years. We all cried together and she truly does think of your dogs like one of her own. When we are away of course we miss the dogs but we never once worry or wonder how they are when Holly is caring for them. She knows their routines, their personalities, lets us know if they are off, or if they are okay, or sad, or miss us. When I contacted him about our 7 month old beagle Bullet, I was at the end of my rope! He had numerous behavioral issues from the time we brought him home at 8 weeks old. He displayed resource aggression over objects, never listened to anything we said, wouldn't come when called, pulled terribly when walking on leash, constantly walked the floors, slept very little, howled loudly and continuously whenever we put him in his crate, etc. In short, he was completely wild, uncontrollable, and was making our lives miserable every day. By the time I contacted Rob, we had already tried having a trainer come to our house for weekly sessions and completed PetSmart's puppy and intermediate training classes with little to no success. When I spoke with Rob on the phone, it was the first time since the week we brought Bullet home that I truly had hope that he wasn't a lost cause. Rob explained his board and train program and the techniques he uses thoroughly, and I was immediately impressed and felt confident in his knowledge and abilities. Even more importantly, he told me that he definitely believed he could help. When we hung up, I actually began to believe that Bullet's bad behavior could change, and it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. During the training process, Rob brought Bullet home for weekly sessions with us so we could see what he had learned and participate in his training and learn along with him. Every session, Bullet's behavior got better and better, and we were always very pleased with the progress he had made. Those sessions were invaluable to us because of how much we learned about how to maintain his training after he came home. Rob even kept him for two extra weeks at no additional charge because he didn't feel Bullet was quite where he needed to be with his training and wanted more time to get it right. Bullet has been home almost two weeks now, and we are absolutely amazed at how different he is! He listens to and obeys commands, he comes whenever we call him, he heels very well on walks and doesn't pull on leash, he sleeps during the day like he should, sleeps in his crate all night and never whines or howls, and is just an all around good boy. He's so much more content, relaxed, and obedient than he was before Rob's program. Bullet is honestly like a totally different dog. Now we truly enjoy being with him instead of feeling constantly irritated and on edge all the time. Bullet has gone from being a source of constant frustration to being a source of constant joy and companionship. My dog ands I LOVE this place! They have a lot of options for training classes and times. We have only gone through the basic family dog training so far, but it was great. I had an issue during training (turns out my dog can be sensitive), and the whole training group (from the assistant, to the trainer, to the owner) cared and helped my pup get over her nervousness and continue training. Whenever she goes to day care there, she is SO excited (we've gone other places that she's not so excited about). She has also been boarded there and both with boarding and day care, the staff always seems SO friendly and loving to the dogs, and the pup comes home unharmed, happy and tired! I live half an hour away, but the drive is completely worth the service!!!

Have been a long time client of Pet-Agree, for training classes with several dogs (even a foster…read moredog) and boarding/day care. We don't go as often as we used to, but the staff still remembers us; they've had some long-term people there for as long as we've been going, 11 years. Owner/Trainer Karen Smith is just a lovely lady. She's extremely good at what she does, and has a good sense of humour (definitely a plus when working with dogs). Though she's all about positive reinforcement, that doesn't mean a dog doesn't learn there's a consequence to a bad/unwanted behavior. She makes the classes interesting and fun and she educates herself, and her staff, on new training methods and things to try with the dogs. That's fabulous for those of us who have taken multiple dogs through the various levels of classes over time. It would get boring if we weren't as enthused as our dogs; they'd pick up on that negativity. We've done private lessons with a couple dogs who needed more than they could get in a group scenario; one who hadn't been socialized as a puppy and was afraid of a dust bunny never mind people. It took a year working with Karen, but it was glorious to see that dog blossom. Not only did we do basic obedience, behavior modification, lots of desensitizing, but Karen educated me back then on what makes a good dog food, and how some ingredients were thought to affect behavior. And she introduced me to herbal remedies as well. It was a complete, successful, program. She is a wonderful trouble shooter when you're having a particular issue with your dog. If one thing doesn't work to resolve, she'll suggest something else. And Karen or her assistants, are always available by phone when you have questions between sessions. They would write summary notes of your lesson so you didn't have to try and remember it all. I hope they still do that because those are handy to keep on file to refer back to over time. You just have to be willing to do the homework and then the results speak for themselves when you have a dog that is a pleasure to live with and for people to meet in public. It's been invaluable with our Rottweilers - they've been breed ambassadors and shown people the true nature of the breed - oversized lap dogs! Our dogs love going to daycare and they don't even mind boarding for a few nights. The staff get to know the dogs and will assess to determine which other dogs might be good playmates. Of course it varies depending on the dogs that come in day to day, but they know the regulars and who might be compatible with whom. They get regular rest periods, and are monitored for stress. Some people criticize the set up of the multiple play yards and what they feel is not enough staff to supervise, or leaving collars on. I understand those criticisms, and know that accidents can happen quickly, but in the time we've been using Pet-Agree, never heard of it happening there. They're doing something right. The place is looking a little less glossy the last few years, and they don't have webcam abilities, as some trendier places do, but it's always clean and full of lots of friendly smiles - human and canine. :)
