We had spent so much time together during that time I guess she became hyper vigilant with me. She would become aggressive with any dog that came within in 10 feet of me. Barking and pulling and standing very tall. It never happened when others walked her without me. I tried for two years to change her behavior, including two different trainers, with no real changes. 10 weeks ago Maisie and I went back to Kelly (she had trained Maisie before Covid and she had moved her facility to further away). Within 5 minutes she had it figured out and we started a very simple, but effective program. Within 2 weeks there was a major difference. Maisie was more relaxed, calmer and much less territorial. She travels back and forth to CA from NH every year and I need her to be calm in the airport and not look at other dogs. 6 weeks after we started with Kelly we had to fly back to CA. Maisie was amazing. She was perfect. At 10 weeks out, she saw a dog long before I did. She sat and looked right at me without any instruction from me. THANK YOU KELLY!!!!!!! While Sally was in Mary's care, her skin was very thin were most of the matting had occurred. Mary took EXCELLENT care of Sally. Mary bunny plucked her fur, and Mary also took the time to explain what she did, and kindly educated us on how to care for Sally's fur from that point on! We told everyone we knew after that first session that we would have paid the full fee if that first session was the only session. Our golden retriever, Huck, was quickly renamed by our friends and family as "good boy Huck" for his rapid transformation. We can now take him into just about any situation with a relaxed mindset and confidence that we have control over him on, or off the leash. Rob's no-nonsense approach put us at ease and simply worked. Our private lessons took place at our house, a couple of other locations "in the world" and ended with dog introductions at his house with some of the board and train dogs. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Nikki's Kinetic K9 Training. Judy has been great for our family pets! We have been working with her off and on for the past year…read morein different capacities. When we started working with her, it was no let out our dogs and walk our puppy when we would be gone more than a few hours during the day (he had a small bladder!). Recently, she's been walking the high energy dog (now over a year old) more regularly to help deplete energy while I work from home. The walks are pretty long and are high quality, she brings him to different areas and he just loves her. She is also available for transportation services (to dog training, daycare, boarding, etc...) and does full-service pet sitting. I appreciate that she's very accommodating and often available on demand. There have been times I was out longer than intended and I was able to just call her and she fit my dog in for a needed break. She also has experience with scent training and I've benefitted from her course at Inspire K-9.
