The food isn't good for a brewery. It's just flat out good. Without a doubt some of, if not the best food in town. Coupled with a 10/10 beer garden and solid craft beers, this is my favorite place to visit. We go weekly and will continue as long as their current chef is there. Awesome. read more

The worst of the worst as far as service goes. Our server was just awful awful and no one in the entire restaurant cared. The blonde 21 year old behind the bar that we shared our experience with could have cared less with everything I had to say Server did mention it was her first day but we had no silverware to eat with once our food came. She charged me for a pimento cheese appetizer when I asked for it as the cheese on my burger. Didn't complain about that but then we had no silverware , no drinks, no Napkins, noI to go boxes and never saw her again. The blonde behind the bars lol thought out service we experience and bill we paid was perfectly acceptable. The only thing we didn't do was cook our own burger. This is a new brewery and pizzeria that opened in downtown on Market Street. From the outside it looks like a house and the entrance wasn't very grand. I thought it was the side door to the patio but it's pretty cool when you walk inside. They had merry-go round horses/ dinosaurs, and cool lights and nice wood bar and tables. It's a long building and I liked all the booths. There's a 2nd floor that I didn't see. The bartenders were very friendly and told us how you order beer at the bar and use the QR codes for food. They recommend 2 beers as their best to try... Scottish ale and the biere de garde. I tasted both and liked them-lots of flavor. I went with the biere de garde. At our table it was easy to pull up the menu and place our order but I really missed talking to someone and asking what they liked or recommended. Also we learned later that there was a self-service station for napkins, plates, boxes, water and more. I knew I was going to get the cheese curds being from Wisco and they were great curds! The chimichurri sauce that came with went better with the pizza crust. Their ranch was extra but tasty for dipping. The pizza was good too, crispy and soft with a good amount of toppings. And the cannolis were also good... I wished there were more! I'm not sure I love not having a staff member take our food order but maybe I'll try sitting at bar next time. read more

Went here for a quick beer. Awesome vibe as you walk in. It's like a diner, pub in a basement with plenty on TVs and great beer. We only had the garlic knots that were the best I have had. The bartender pick two great beers and I enjoyed my afternoon. Also they have four slushy machine machines for adults. I need to find out more about them. When I return!! read more

We had a large party (90) people at Ponysaurus to host our son's welcome reception for his wedding. The staff and food at Ponysaurus did not disappoint! We rented their large outdoor covered space in the back and everything was just perfect! Kelley and her team stayed on top of the food and the servers took drink orders quickly and efficiently. Everyone raved about all the food we had (pizza, wings, crab dip, caesar salad and pimento dip). Kelley was very professional every time I reached out and always responded quickly to my questions/emails. I would highly recommend Ponysaurus for a party of any size or just for a quick bite/beer! read more

Lol after reading the crazy reviews I had to leave my own. Been here a handful of times and it's always super chill and a good place to hang out with no pressure. Outside has a totally different vibe than inside. Love the variety. FYI THIS IS A BREWERY. WITH A KITCHEN. It's not a restaurant. Do not expect to be waited on. Also the pimento cheese IS AMAZING. Nice little brewery (looks like a house) in the heart of Wilmington. Large selection, albeit maybe 1-2 beer per style. So, although a good number of beers are available, if there's a particular style or two that you are seeking, then there are limited options. Pizza was solid. Service was good. I was ordering dinner Lastnight and Ponysaurus came up. I have not been able to make it in person so I thought I would try some of their goodies to go. I ordered an Italian sandwich and instead of fries I upgraded $1.50 to a Caesar salad. I also ordered a 14 inch cheese pizza. Th menu has a lot of great items on it, but I wanted something the kids and I could split. When it arrived, the pizza was very charred on the crust. Too charred to eat in some places. That was my only complaint. The taste of the pizza was delicious. I would live to try their clam pizza next. Then, the Italian sub was loaded! It had several meats and a really good flavor. My only suggestion would be to change the bread was focaccia to sourdough or hoagie. The best part of the whole meal was the delicious Caesar salad. They packed it perfectly. The beautiful lives of lettuce were together, then in separate containers was the dressing, anchovies, freshly grated Parmesan, lemons, and croutons. When I moved it altogether it was heavenly!!! One of the best Caesar's in town! I will definitely be ordering from here again! read more

The population of Wilmington is not ready for this kind of freedom within a local brewery and eatery . The beer and the food was good. However, the self service environment and large groups of people just hovering around tables and standing in the way was unbearable. Having a couple of servers to check on tables , get needed items and sort of monitor the antics of other patrons would go a long way. I would say might even be good for a to go order however you can only see the menu if you're there. I'm actually sorry I tipped 20% when we ordered the food and paid at the table because it wasn't earned. Will try again if they change the format of things however would not recommend at this time. read more

Ate there with some friends and we all were disappointed. I ordered the tomato soup as well as another friend, soup wasn't warm. I sent mine back and still wasn't warm when it was returned. Another person had curly fries with her meal and they were burnt and all broken up, weren't curly at all more like stick fries. Also two people got fried green tomatoes and they were cold! I was really excited to try this place! I invited several friends to join. It wasn't overly busy. We sat at the bar for nearly 5 minutes before getting service. The 2 male bartenders were busy talking to a group of young women. The bartender that finally came over seemed aggravated that he had to wait on us. After bringing our beers, he went back to talking to the girls. No one came over again. We ended up sharing our beers with our friends that came in later because the bartenders never acknowledged us again. I finally had to go over and ask for bill. The bartender was clearly upset that we did not tip. It was a big letdown. read more

What a grand place to eat drink and meet up with your friends. We are very familiar with Ponysaurus in Durham so we were anxiously awaiting for the grand opening here. We loved the many options beyond pub food. Our kale salad, mussels, and calamari spot on. My caprese sandwich a must- but your tried and true, pizza and burgers on menu as well. The beer offerings are fantastic- and we love Don't be mean to people- the service amazing and looking forward to the upcoming outdoor beer garden. Definitely recommend giving Pony a try. Very familiar with their beer and the original Durham location, we were eager to visit the new Market St location and check it out. We stopped in for lunch and brews at the bar and "Loved it"! Friendly service, clean, huge bar, an abundance of convenient (paid) parking, plenty of indoor seating on 2 levels, and also plenty of covered outdoor tables, including the beer garden. We knew their beer would be great but were happy to find out that the food was also really tasty and well presented, with the buns exceptionally good. We tried the Caesar salad, a Caprese sandwich, and a burger with curly fries. All were excellent, Skip the ketchup because everything we ordered as delicious without. Been 3 times now, all food was excellent every time! Staff is friendly and efficient. Outdoor beer garden is going to be awesome in the nicer weather. They are working on the indoor lighting which really needs to be fixed, but as I said they are working on it. Highly recommend the pizza and the burgers. read more

And then we ordered a couple of apps from bar...was not crazy at all doing everything on my phone. In fact i thought it was a royal pain in the ass...I detest having to put my credit card on line.
