READ CONTRACTS THROROUGHLY. I'll start by saying that in the past I have found the customer service…read moreto be quite good. I haven't called much, but when I did they would respond quickly. I have been a customer for many years, mainly for the pest control. I used their Mosquito treatment at one point in the past and had 2 treatments. We didn't find it to be that effective. It may be that we live near too many other yards that aren't receiving treatment. In any case, the effects don't last long at all, so we discontinued it without a problem. This year the mosquitoes have been particularly bad, and I had gotten several texts from them about trying out there mosquito service again. I replied to the text asking how much the mosquito service cost, and received the answer "It is $95 per service." I told them to go ahead and schedule a service. I received a contract while at work and will admit, I didn't read the fine print as I was busy and am a trusting person. Anyway, the large print at the top looked good, $102 for initial service with taxes then recurring payments of $102 for additional services. Once again, the treatments weren't as effective as we wanted and I called to let them know I didn't want any more treatments. I then found out that the contract I signed had agreed to 12 treatments and that early cancellation had an 80% cancellation fee. So basically my choices are to pay them 80% of the remaining balance for nothing, or pay the full amount for marginally less mosquitoes over the next 4 months. Some will say I should have read the contract closely, and that's true, but I just expect more from a company that I had been loyal to for so many years. I mentioned that the text messages said nothing about wanting a 12 treatment $1200 plan, and they said they would check the messages for what was said but I'm not holding my breath... I know my old contact at the company would have allowed me to cancel no problem, but sadly he moved onto another opportunity.

We called them for an inspection after a roof repair a few years ago, and they came right out. We lost our contact and missed a couple of inspections. In June we heard a noise and called the office. We discussed the warranty issue, paid for the inspection, and they quickly sent out Raul to perform an inspection. During the inspection, Raul found a recurring problem area where the flashing pulled up at a roof return. He made the repair and set traps. Raul came out a few days later, and all was clear. Omega performs quality work and honors their warranty. I suggest that when you use them that you put an annual reminder in your calendar to schedule annual inspections.

They over state the potential damage and consequences of your issue in order to give you a price that other pest control companies can do for 1/3 the cost. Now as long as their work is okay then at least you got something in return for the $$$ you paid, but that is not the case. I fell for the fear bait and the service I got was not at all worth the price. They constantly missed sealing spots that the sales person said and after I asked multiple times did a half effort to seal it which resulted in absolutely 0 rodents or animals removed or captured. Then randomly my biweekly check ups just stopped happening and they ghosted me. When I confronted management after a few months of no response they offered to pay for me to keep my mouth shut and offered a contract for me to sign that I wouldn't make a bad review or tell anyone. Of course I did not sign and called my bank for a refund. Please be aware that they don't have worse reviews because they'll pay and give you a binding contract to keep your mouth shut. Last week, two Gecko technicians - Charlie and Dillon - happened to be in our Cedar Hill, Texas…read moreneighborhood. My husband and I went out and asked them if they could look at our lawn and give us an estimate for lawn help (we just moved here last summer from out of state, and the lawn around our new house is struggling; lots of weeds, some bare spots, etc). Charlie and Dillon took the time to walk through both our front and back yards. They listened to our concerns and gave us their opinions as to what some of the causes were (such as long-time absence of any prior aeration) for some of our lawn problems. They then consulted with their headquarters team and came up with a fairly-priced estimate for aeration, fertilization, weed control, tree care, and other lawn care tasks - all which will be regularly carried out throughout the next 12 months. Charlie and Dillon took the time to thoroughly answer more questions. They were also very up front in terms of expectation management - especially with regard to our weed situation (it might take some significant time and work to get the grass growing like it should and to get our weed situation under control). They also provided us with a referral to a local landscaping company for help getting new crepe myrtles installed near our fence line. Today, different Gecko technicians came out to our home to get started on the lawn care work. They arrived as scheduled and were professional, efficient, and unobtrusive. Gecko's tree care specialist - Mike - arrived later in the afternoon. He tended to our fledgling shrubs and trees and sprayed leaf treatment on a few fledgling crepe myrtles out back. He then took the time to point out aspects of our crepe myrtles and to help us figure out if we would be able to plant more near our fence line to fill in some gaps. He seemed to know a whole lot about crepe myrtles and educated us well in the basics of them (including best time to plant them, considerations for their placement, etc). Every Gecko Green representative we have interacted with has been professional and friendly. So far, we are very impressed with the quality of their services, customer service, and pricing. If anything changes in this regard, I will come back and update this review. So far, so good though.

Have had this company for almost a year, until today. Got a notification yesterday that someone…read morewould be out to service the lawn. Saw no one all day, and then I get another text wanting me to rate the person providing the service. I'm confused and call the company. They inform me that he was out here and spoke to me this morning. Not a chance. I informed them that I wanted to cancel the service due to this issue and was sent over to a quality control person who informed me that their people had body cameras. So I'm lying now about no one servicing the property? Would not recommend.
