My Wife and I really enjoyed the slices. The addition of ranch married well with the thin crust, salty bacon and seasoned chicken. We were also impressed by the crispy tenders, and fresh fries. I was impressed with the 'thin crust' Sicilian pizzas. The crust tasted delicious and fresh. They had a wide array of pre-made ones to choose from including a blue cheese drizzled pie with spicy chicken and celery. Despite truly disliking blue cheese, I tried it and loved it. I have yet to be disappointed here. The selections of salads and other dishes are great as well. Super close to the Walkway over the Hudson if you feel guilty having too much pizza. read more

The pizza is decent here's but the meals are terrible. We've tried many of them hoping for something better but still disappointed. Tonight we got chicken franchais and it was the worst sauce ever. Had this strange flavor. Do not order spinach here. They use frozen chopped spinach not fresh. We threw that $29 out. The calzone was tasty but not crispy and mushy. Well this is disappointing for me to write. As a lloonngg time customer I wrote a review about 7 months ago that I was disappointed that the pizza had changed to greasy. I was told that nothing was changed in there recipe.Tonite 2/23/2021 I ordered a cheese pie and it was very greasy. The cheese is not the same. I could not eat the pie. Pizza was better than I expected so we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the meat lovers, large, and it was just enough for a family of 5 (one is a toddler). We also ordered the bbq pulled pork panini which, again, we were pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. We had an order of the chicken fingers as well and they were decent, nothing spectacular but still good. We ordered our food as pick up and it was ready when they said it would be (20 min). I have 4 stars just because no place is perfect but they did a great job with expectations and the food was decently priced for the quality of the product. Be careful ordering slices they could be harder than a cutting board. Got two slices of chicken ranch pizza and I almost lost my tooth

This was a great discovery! My daughter and I decided to grab a couple of subs for lunch after walking on the WalkWay over the Hudson. I'm so glad we did! I ordered the Italian Sub and she the Chicken Parm Sub. With covid rules being observed, we pre-ordered and only had to wait a few minutes in their socially distant marked dining room/ counter area. The gentlemen behind the counter were pleasant and friendly. We paid for our order and went outside to eat our meal. When we opened the sandwiches we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and filling they were. We actually brought half home with us for later! This was a new experience for us and we will definitely be going back to sample more of the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was varied and offered something for everyone. Worst ever food that I have encountered. The tomato sauce is a horror. I'm still trying to figure if ketchup was used as the base. The pizza crust a terrible conglomeration. Not certain if paper or dough was used. I had egg plant rollatini that was an awful mess. The ricotta cheese did not taste like real ricotta, and I had to wonder if I were eating papier-mache. Others were eating the food like it was a delectable delight. Either it was me or the locals who live there have never eaten authentic Italian food. For me, it was a barf city experience. One little girl was refusing the pizza that her Dad was trying to get her to eat. I think that she was the wiser. My recommendation is to avoid this place. This place is very clean and has the convenience of an ice cream place next door. The atmosphere is a huge contributor to this review. The pizza is very similar in style to local pizza chains. The food is better than a 1-2 star pizza place but not as good as restaurant quality. The pizza and sausage rolls are very much bread oriented and have very little flavor besides the cheap sauce to accompany. Even though the food quality is not the best of the best, the prices are very reasonable. The environment is clean, updated, modern and seating can accommodate large groups. Unfortunately this place is really declining in the quality of their food. I used to go there frequently but in the past year or so I have noticed a steady decline. They also aren't always wearing masks behind the counter, which is really problematic. Recently I had food sent in from them and received a chicken parm sub that was basically bread and sauce. It was a total waste of money and somewhat surprising since it used to be a good place. Also, I sent a private Facebook message to them letting them know about the disappointing chicken parm sub and they read the message and did not even reply. They did the same when I sent them a private Facebook message letting them know that some of their staff were not wearing masks behind the counter. They didn't even reply. Since their food, their standards, and their customer service is totally lacking I will be looking for a new local place for pizza and Italian. They don't even seem to value long standing customers at all. I'm sure I will find much better pizza nearby. read more

Made the mistake of ordering the Calamari. I don't know when they cooked this but it wasn't today. The "deep fried batter" was a soggy mess. The calamari itself was a rock-hard rubber. Not a big fan. The food isn't the best and it's a bit over priced for the portions you get. Last time I went I ordered a Caesar salad to pick up, they told me 15 minutes and when I arrived it still wasn't ready. I took it to go and by the time I got home and opened it up I noticed there were no utensils, which isn't that big of a deal since I was home (but had I not been would've been very inconvenient). But there was no Caesar dressing on my Caesar salad or on the side! I was very disappointed. What is a Caesar salad without Caesar dressing? It's not a terrible place but I wouldn't recommend it. There aren't many options when it comes to eating out in Highland but this definitely wouldn't be on the top it my list. read more

I love Pomo'Doro! I have gotten take-out and delivery from there and have eaten on premises. Their food is authentic and delicious. They have fast & friendly delivery service and their staff is very professional. The owner goes out of his way to be sure each customer is happy. I love their chicken club sandwich especially, but try their dinners, salads, sandwiches and many varieties of pizza! Good place for pizza and that's about it. If you're looking to get anything else I'd suggest going elsewhere. Wings are tiny and the sauce has an odd taste. The marinara sauce they use tastes and looks almost EXACTLY like Campbell's tomato soup with maybe some herbs added. Like I said, if all you're getting is pizza you're in great hands, sadly everything else falls short. 4/5 stars on the pizza, have to give the restaurant a measly 2 for lack of any other decent food. read more

Basically the food in this new place is pretty below average, but the pizza is all right and they made a pizza caprese that was outstanding, so we stopped by often for that wonderful pizza. Until this evening: We picked up a pizza caprese and drove two minutes home--it was hard, stale and ice cold. The crust was burnt and cold and hard. It had not been near an oven, instead, it seems that a stale and cold crust was put in a box and some pieces of cheese, slices of tomato and sprigs of wilted basil thrown on top, the lid closed and "Your pizza is ready" was announced.
