I had my brows done by Pomi about 3 years ago. I am now starting the process of having them removed by laser because they have never looked right. One brow is heavier and straighter than the other and neither matches the shape of my natural brow bone. I wanted natural looking brows with individual "hairs" and these are not. Pomi said I was bleeding so much during the process that she couldn't see what she was doing. I wish she had stopped. She knew I was unhappy and tried to fix them by removing some of the ink later. A few years ago I had micro blading done by someone else. They must not have used a good product because they started turning an ashy color and fading. Pomi used a color corrector, gave me a much better shape and better after care instructions than I was given from the other person. Okay, I usually have an easy time writing my reviews but I am just so blown away by Pomi's work that I don't even know where to start! First off, her brow studio is decorated so cute! You can tell she really put a lot of thought into all the little details. She had calming music playing that made the experience more relaxing. Pomi was great at walking me through the whole process. She explained everything and answered every question. She's very knowledgeable and honest so I knew that I was in good hands. Her people skills are awesome because I felt completely at ease despite being nervous at first. Now, the brows! My eyebrows had thinned a lot as I got older. I always had to use brow filler and powders; it became a pain having do them everyday which is why I decided to get them done. I went into my appointment with an open mind when it came to results as I knew that I didn't have as much hair as some of her past clients. So imagine my surprise when she gave me the mirror and I saw the most perfect brows ever! Seriously. They look so good and natural! It looks like I grew them overnight. I can't even tell where my hair ends and the tattoo begins. It's flawless. The whole process was pretty painless too. I feel more pain/discomfort from plucking my eyebrows than I did during microblading. This was literally a 0 pain level for me. I'm soooo happy with Pomi's work that I've told my own mother and girlfriends about her. My only regret is that I wish I had found her sooner because she would've saved me a lot of time and money! Due to covid restrictions I wasn't able to go for my touch-up after I got the initial microblading done. But was able to make it in a year later. There wasn't much left of the initial microblading at that point since I didn't get the touchup. Pomi suggested that since it had been a while I pay for an annual touch-up but are would do a second one instead of the one I missed out on. I thought the was fair. The annual touch-up was exactly as involved as the very first microblading. Pomi took time to carefully plan out my brows and get every little detail right. She suggested to try a bit of shading this time. But that didn't work well for me individually as my skin decided to heal away all the shading part. So during the second touch-up she only did microblading and suggested since I'm already a really good healer to not use the ointment to see what happens. That seemed to work much better for my skin. It healed really well on its own while retaining a lot more of the microblading. Pomi is a perfectionist, an artist with great eye, and a great human being. I would recommend her to anyone that wants perfect brows and amazing service. read more

Considering this is a semi permanent procedure to alter features of your face.. any man or woman seeking eyebrow-tattoo-type services is going to want to ensure the person conducting the tattoo is (a) trusted and (b) good at what they do. I THOROUGHLY researched Pomi B Brow and I am SO happy with the end result.. the least I can to do write the high praises on the platform that brought me to her (thanks Yelp!). ***Long story short: Pomi is your eyebrow gal. Hands down the best in Southern California and 1000% the kindest, most generous and most talented artist to help you with your eyebrow drawing needs. GO SEE HER.*** I am a gal who was blessed with little to no eyebrows and a giant canvas of a face. So much so that the first eyebrow tattoo experience was in the 90s and prompted by my own mother (think: early 90s and your stereotypical middle aged, Asian woman's eyebrow tattoo parlor.. aka: a sharpie might have well been used). The fact that my own mother dragged me to get my eyebrows tattooed tells you how desperately lacking this feature is on my face. Fast fwd a bunch of years.. and several significant life chapters later.. the old tattoo has faded and I learned about the latest eyebrow approaches.. microblading, shading, blade and shade, etc. It can really make your head spin. Since I'm not all into fashion, it took me significant research to understand what it was and where to get it. I've literally researched this for over a year. Although I wanted the best, I wasn't about to drop $500+ for the procedure. I mean.. I can buy quite a bit of eyebrow pencil to hold me over... and yes there are a few studios where the head eyebrow artist is like $700 for the first visit and they do a fabulous job, I just couldn't justify that extreme price point ... plus the additional touch ups... etc. Then the heavens opened up and lead me to Pomi. Reasonably and competitively priced.. an amazing portfolio where she knew how to enhance the natural features.. not just draw the same eyebrow on different faces.. I could tell that she was good at her craft. I was so excited to find her that I emailed her on whim at some absurd hour in the night... She responded almost immediately. It was so easy to set up the appointment with her, provide the deposit to hold the appointment, and she gave such detailed, clear instructions.. i knew exactly what to expect and what to do in preparation of meeting her. Note that I was willing to drive up from San Diego to OC to meet her. Pomi's got a cute little space in Sola Salon in the Irvine/Tustin area of Jamboree.. east of the 5. I was a little nervous about the whole procedure (again.. I'm definitely needing the eyebrows.. but I have been dragging my feet trying to find the right person). As soon as I met her, she was SO kind and gentle; I felt like I was meeting an old friend or a big sister. She really helped me feel welcome, chatted with me, examined how she could best help me.. and most important: made my inner voice clearly pronounce: this is someone I can trust. The initial procedure was surprisingly gentle! Or she's just that good. I was about to fall asleep from the gentle hair strokes that she helped add. Absolutely no pain.. and she constantly checked to make sure I was comfy. One thing I especially liked about Pomi is that she's a perfectionist like me. She sat me up.. examined the different angles of how her "art work" would appear.. and I left with an amazing set of brows. Further, when I left.. she gave really clear and helpful instructions (with pictures!) and after care cream... even took my questions via text the days following. She ensured that I was thrilled with the end product -- and I ABSOLUTELY WAS. So much so, in fact, that I -- who never takes photos of my large canvas head -- had to send her a photo to share how thrilled I was. Pomi clearly explains that it is a multi-step procedure to get the final brows you are seeking. On my second touch-up visit, I was excited to meet her again. Not only because she's SO ridiculously nice, but because I was so happy to see where this was going. I didn't think it was possible but I left with even better brows the 2nd time.. I'm going around wiggling them with sexy eyes to my husband every chance I get. Pomi is so incredibly gifted at her art. Couple that with a soft touch, BIG heart, and innate warmth that just exudes from her being. Fuel that by a reasonably priced procedure with detailed information to make her clients fully aware of what they will get.. and ultimately.. a client that is thrilled by what they have received. Yes, I say new, because most of them were gone due to many reasons. To anyone reading this who may be experiencing what I did: -Over the years, my eyebrows had thinned and were already very light. -I wasn't one to pencil them in every day and never wore much makeup -Every day I saw myself looking older and older as my brows got thinner and thinner I had heard about and had a friend who had microblading done so I had considered it but she had a bad experience at a different studio so I was VERY nervous. I researched and watched terrifying videos about it but finally decided it was worth it and found Pomi through Yelp. I was prepared for 'death by 1,000 papercuts' as my friend described it. I contacted Pomi and she got back to me asap and was kind enough to set up a phone consultation to discuss my options (on her day off!!) Turns out Microblading wasn't actually the best option for me, after I sent her a few photos. We decided on Ombre Powder Brows (I think that's what it's called). Pomi was so sweet and patient and answered allllllllll of my questions with detail and accuracy and calmed all of my nerves.
