On the outside it doesn't look like anything too special but once inside this play place is HUGE! They have a ton of different play zones and fun things for the kids to experience. You could really spend the whole day here and the kids would enjoy it. Upon entry they have a cafeteria where they sell food and some arcade games. They they have a play area for smaller kids to enjoy. And a huge climbing slide. They areas for them to climb in and explore are large and hard to keep an eye on your kids but I did warn my kids to come find me should they need anything. So many slides and climbing things they loved it. There is also a ninja warrior type of play area for older kids at the back. That was a really fun area for the kids as they watch that on TV so it was really cool to see in real life and try some of the obstacles. The staff were constantly cleaning too however with the amount of kids in this place I think it's hard to keep this place truly clean. I encouraged my kids to wash their hands several times while we were there. The birthday area has a lot of different rooms and accommodate many birthday parties all at the same time. The kids had pizza, veggies, and pop / water / juice. A Mario character also came and said hi to the kids and took pictures which was nice for the younger kids to enjoy. Overall this is a pretty cool play place however since we live so far away we likely wouldn't come back here unless it was for another birthday or to meet someone who lives in that area. If you're in that area and looking for a super cool play place, this is definitely a great spot to spend the day.

We've never had a problem with their staff and our shoes are always still there when we leave. I also think that it is a good policy to have the kid and parent have the same stamps so they know you are a parent and not a random person picking up a kid. May daughter just loves this place and it is a great option in the winter when all other playgrounds are too cold or wet.

We went on a weekday, so it was easy to find parking, and there was a good amount of available seating inside. It's not a large playground by any means, so I can see it being quite busy on the weekend, which would be terrible for parking and for finding a place to sit. With a 2 and 5 year old in tow, they both had fun. I really enjoyed the tube slide, as I've never seen that before. You have your usual problem here of parents who should be watching their kids not, so kids doing things they aren't supposed to. The playground also runs a bit warm, so dress the kids (and yourself if you'll be chasing after them) accordingly. The pricing for food is a bit on the higher side, as expected, and the wait time is terribly long. The hot dog kids meal took 20 minutes. They have a promo where you are given arcade credit in exchange for a 5 star review on Google. Not really ethical by any means, but the kids love the arcade. Highlight of my visit here is that I lost my phone/ wallet and it was returned intact.

The first thing I noticed was the parking problem. We came at 11am on a Saturday I expected to be a little ways away for parking but noticing how many businesses are in this complex and lots of them have signs for customers only. Be prepared to walk a bit to get to the door! We came for the afternoon party which our friends had been told they had access to the room at 11, but then when we all arrived the staff said the room wasn't going to be ready for another 30 minutes. The same thing followed about the food/lunch that is part of the party room booking. 30 minutes makes a big difference to a hungry kid. My friend decided last minute to order an extra fruit platter, which they did let her order so that was appreciated. The food was decent, pizza and pop served. The playground area itself is very clean. There are some interesting slide ideas with donut tubes but it didn't honestly work very well. They also have a big semi- deflated jumping pillow area with a ladder obstacle and just room to jump, I'm sure there is a sign for no flips but this area pretty much looks like that's what you should do here so of course every kid is flipping. The trampoline areas are also decent, very clean again, one had a game that looked fun where you would jump and hit the lights but no one could find the start button. Not even the staff knew what button to push to start. Arcade zone was probably the best. But the games cost too many tokens in my opinion and the party pass comes with so few you definitely end up buying more. The arcade games also weren't very loud, now as a parent I can appreciate this. Toddler zone is also well put together with view points from pretty much all sides. It's small and not gated so you do get big kids in there. Admission overall is higher priced than other indoor playgrounds in the city. I will say the artwork is amazing on the walls and the space is kept very clean.

We took our kids for the first time at ages 3 and 5 and they had a ball! Come early and get an early bird price! I believe it's slightly lower priced until about 10/1030am. And coming first thing gives you the place to yourselves to enjoy. The climbing structures are intense, so many turns and little hidden areas. Hence you can loose a little one in here and not see them for awhile. I liked how it was connected across the top with a path over to the jumping pillow and trampoline area, which you can also access via the stairs. The foam pit and trampoline area is so much fun, my kids spent a majority of their time here. Definitely still need to come up and supervise your kids, but I found most other kids were cautious of little ones and well behaved. The foam blocks also all have covers on them. The kids also enjoyed the arcade zone, which was quite popular with the older kids. Looked like they had a good selection of prizes too. Only saw one game not working. Food wise they have a good selection of deep fried goodness, also some healthy options too. We got the popcorn chicken combo- comes with half popcorn chicken, half fries and a juice box. It was recommended as the best deal. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and came with an interesting tomato Bruschetta kind of sauce. Outside food is not encouraged.... I loved seeing the massage chairs for the adults to enjoy for $1. Plenty of parking out front.

I found it funny watching parents follow their little ones into the mazes/netted play areas. There are areas where you can lose sight of your kids. I can see why parents would want to stay super close to their young kids in a crowded place like this. I found that there were a variety of activities/play areas for the kids to explore. This venue is quite large and spacious. I appreciated the toddler play area. For the most part my son was surrounded by kids close to his age. The play area was padded and soft so I wasn't worried about my son hurting himself. We spent about 1.5 hours here. This was pretty impressive considering our son's nap time was around this time. He had a wonderful rest after all the excitement! There's so much more to check out. We will definitely have to come back!

Located on the west side and there was quite a bit of parking available. But it was crowded in the cafe and even the playhouse was quite busy. They said they limit the number of kids in the space and you have to pre-book your 60 minute time slot. 60 minutes flew by! And it felt like we didn't get quite enough time to explore and really appreciate all the little houses and details. But that must be the allure of going again! Our babies favourite activities at the playhouses were the slide and the little play restaurant. The slide was busy and tight quartered. But the little stairs and crash section at the bottom were well placed. The play restaurant was good great, they had all the condiments and so many cute plastic food items for a variety of kids to play with. I recall one kid yelling out 'Ice Cream, Ice Cream'. So fun! There was also costumes, a colouring station, suction building blocks, a wooden play body/operation table. The baby area also looked nice, cozy and with some great stimulating toys. It's a bit pricey and it's too bad it's only a 60 minute booking but in February they had a 1/2 price deal so for just under $5 I felt like that wasn't too bad to check it out. If you do get to check out the cafe I would recommend their signature blue Butterfly Pea latte- it was super sweet and creamy and delightful.

Cute little place in a residential neighbourhood, all-vegan, run by a friendly woman. I phoned in our order (curry tofu wrap and tofu scramble wrap) and came to pick it up half an hour later -- the woman sure was persistent over the phone about upselling me add-ons to our order. ;-) When we arrived, the wraps were ready, and we got some spanikopitas and coffees for the road. Both our wraps were very tasty and certainly filling. When it came time for our afternoon snacks, the spanikopitas turned out to be amazing. I never really liked spanikopitas before I went vegan, but this vegan rendition was amazing -- the tofu/spinach filling was delicious, the pastry was delectable but rather oily, and the dip it came with was the perfect accompaniment. This was a gem of a place and I'll definitely return when in Edmonton.

Hiring Jenna Fisher of Cocktails and Details was one of the most disappointing decisions we made…read moreduring our wedding planning process. We hired her for full-service planning and paid just shy of $7,000 of the $10,000 fee, expecting expert guidance, organization, and support. Instead, we were left chasing her for updates, doing most of the work ourselves, and feeling increasingly disillusioned by the lack of follow-through, accountability, and professionalism. Many of the tasks in her own Aisle Planner system remained untouched unless we stepped in to manage them ourselves. Communication was sporadic, deadlines were missed, and we had to follow up multiple times just to get answers. We sourced nearly all of our own vendors, including our caterer and wine. When we asked her to reach out to a florist, she did so without ever mentioning our names or following up. They never even knew who the inquiry was for when I reached out to book myself after firing Jenna. She completely forgot about a scheduled meeting with us until we asked if she was sending the Zoom link. Her response: "Omg!! Give me 5...I forgot." That was a moment of painful clarity, our wedding planner couldn't manage her own schedule and we were counting on her to manage our big day. This was the first indication of the grave mistake we made, but we continued to try and work with her. The only caterer she recommended was awful, truly. The fact that this was her best suggestion was baffling. She schedule another tasting for us (a vendor I had found at the wedding fair), that ended up being out of our budget and we paid $500 for the tasting, she blamed this misguided booking on the vendor. Meanwhile, every concern we brought forward was met with excuses; other weddings, long days, email backlogs. The volume and variety of excuses became exhausting and honestly, humiliating to keep chasing after. She also claimed that bringing our own wine into the venue was a favor granted due to her "industry connections," but we later confirmed directly with the venue and saw on their website that this is actually standard policy. Framing it as a special perk felt manipulative and misleading. After meeting with her in January of this year to discuss our frustrations and hopefully rebuild, there was a burst of activity from her, but it died off quickly. We approached her again in May to discuss the ongoing, she became defensive. When we finally terminated the contract and requested a 50% refund of the full amount we paid, she sent back half of what we asked for and hid behind the "non-refundable" clause in her contract, even though much of what was promised was never delivered (according to her standard timeline, she was behind on 15+ items). That kind of language might protect her legally, but it certainly doesn't reflect ethical or client-centered business practices. I've worked with a wedding planner before, at a lower cost, and the difference was night and day. That experience felt collaborative, supportive, and truly full-service. This? This felt like we were on our own while someone else cashed the cheque. We're disappointed, disillusioned, and unfortunately now left picking up the pieces. We would never recommend Cocktails and Details to any couple, and we'll make sure none of our engaged friends end up in the same position we did.
