This place is a kids epic adventure! Really good for slightly older kids that can go off on their own a little more. We took our kids for the first time at ages 3 and 5 and they had a ball! Come early and get an early bird price! I believe it's slightly lower priced until about 10/1030am. And coming first thing gives you the place to yourselves to enjoy. The climbing structures are intense, so many turns and little hidden areas. Hence you can loose a little one in here and not see them for awhile. I liked how it was connected across the top with a path over to the jumping pillow and trampoline area, which you can also access via the stairs. The foam pit and trampoline area is so much fun, my kids spent a majority of their time here. Definitely still need to come up and supervise your kids, but I found most other kids were cautious of little ones and well behaved. The foam blocks also all have covers on them. The kids also enjoyed the arcade zone, which was quite popular with the older kids. Looked like they had a good selection of prizes too. Only saw one game not working. Food wise they have a good selection of deep fried goodness, also some healthy options too. We got the popcorn chicken combo- comes with half popcorn chicken, half fries and a juice box. It was recommended as the best deal. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and came with an interesting tomato Bruschetta kind of sauce. Outside food is not encouraged.... I loved seeing the massage chairs for the adults to enjoy for $1. Plenty of parking out front. read more

First time bringing our 2 year old boy here. He had a wonderful time! The place was packed with people! It was snowing outside so this was a perfect indoor activity. I found it funny watching parents follow their little ones into the mazes/netted play areas. There are areas where you can lose sight of your kids. I can see why parents would want to stay super close to their young kids in a crowded place like this. I found that there were a variety of activities/play areas for the kids to explore. This venue is quite large and spacious. I appreciated the toddler play area. For the most part my son was surrounded by kids close to his age. The play area was padded and soft so I wasn't worried about my son hurting himself. We spent about 1.5 hours here. This was pretty impressive considering our son's nap time was around this time. He had a wonderful rest after all the excitement! There's so much more to check out. We will definitely have to come back! read more

Place isn't bad but needs more staff to keep it clean if it gets packed like it was on the weekend. I think during the week would be better. Its the little things that could easily make it a 5 read more

Love this place. I have been to other indoor playgrounds and I like this one the best. I like how they have the place set that I can always spot my kids. Some other play place I have been to, I get worried when I can not spot them and call their names to find them. And a building full of excited kids are a hard place to get your voice heard. I really appreciate the staff here. Plenty on the floor and every station you need them so you can get help anytime you need and kids knows who to go to if they need help as well. Staffs are extremely friendly and excellent with kids. Full of smiles and make the time for adults here easier than other places. Things that are just outstanding here are 1. STAFFS 2. SECURITY CAMERAS TO SPOT YOUR KIDS AND KEEP THEM SAFE 3. HEALTHY CHOICES OF FOODS. 4.LAYOUT OF THE PLACE . LOTS PLACES AND NO BLIND SPOTS 5. VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS The cafeteria here is bit pricy then other places but the foods are better quality and the amount is worth it. Of the play places that I've been to, this one is up to pay, but with a bigger space. With the place PACKED on opening day, parking spilled out into the adjacent street. The climbing structure is big, not as big as Galaxy Land in WEM, but still interesting for a few hours play. If you have a gaggle of 8 to 10 year olds, this place would be a good solid choice for a party. 4 party rooms downstairs, 6 more upstairs with 2 more washrooms alllll the way in the corner. Lots of seating for the older kids like me upstairs, downstairs seating is right on the middle of all the action. Food prices are typical for a concession in-house, they have some gluten free and vegetarian food options, premium coffees from a very snazzy looking machine. They are showcasing one of the new coke multi-machines, the 6th in Edmonton. It's the size of a fridge, has a slightly hard top read touch screen where you can choose literally every flavor of come product they offer from peach Fanta to, vanilla diet Barq's, and even raspberry coke zero. Make the screen bigger, boys, is olders can't read that small type! The sign in process is just like other play places, they have a waiver you have to sign before entry, online or use their in-house iPads. Massive indoor playground! Pricing varies by date and age. There are also different pass options available - though there is bizarrely no incentive to dish out more for the 6 month or 12 month pass instead of the 3 month pass (cause everyone likes their money tied up in a pass that their kid might lose interest in). Multilevel climbing structure/kid hampster course full of fun obstacles. Small trampoline area. No ball pits, but there are large yoga type balls on top level of climbing structure. Arcade with prizes - games here are good variety, not just the kiddo gambling type. Arcade works with credits on card. Little kids area with one of those interactive floor projections. Quieter room walled off downstairs with some colouring available for some down-time. This is also where they will run educational and fun programs like crafts and yoga - you can check the schedule online. Bright modern and stylish decor. LOTS of seating (we came for grand opening for free, and had no trouble staking our base camp). Many tv screens on the walls, some showing CCTV and some with nothing interesting (the one by us was tuned to CBC). Impressive assortment of food at concession, from smoothies to handmade potato chips (with 'starsauce' - mix of Mayo, ketchup and relish... Umm... The chips were good with ketchup, they'd be great with popcorn flavour shakers, or truffle oil, or olive oil and rosemary... But you don't get those...) Also burgers, soup and salads. Interesting Coka-cola fancy pants self-serve machine... There was a Coke rep showing users how to operate it today: I seen the future, and it's OK. Upper seating/viewing level: ATM and vending machine on upper level. Some nice couch bench things over looking iPad play area, by huge windows. Access to 115' zip-line (additional $5 per ride - ride all day for $21). Extensive and shiny and new, and of course cost adds up quickly. Wear socks! (Duh) read more

We visited Allstars indoor playland today with my almost 2 year old daughter and almost 5 year old type 1 diabetic son. After seeing an event was attended there in our local type 1 diabetic parent group and all were able to use the disability discount for their type 1 children, I felt confident to do the same. I was told by the lady there (middle aged Asian woman for description) that it did not count as a disability... I asked for an example and she said like autism. I told her type 1 is very much a disability and that a group of parents with type 1 diabetic children had been here before which is why I knew about this discount. She told me she would "let it slide this time".... Only for my husband to overheard her talking negatively about us afterwards. Just because he does not have a "visible disability" does not mean he isn't disabled. Of course she did not see me having to follow him throughout the play structures and me sticking his finger repeatedly to check his sugars when his sensor failed, carrying his 50lbs+ self on my back, and making him sit down and stop playing while his blood sugar came back up after chugging 2 juice boxes. Sorry for the rant but I thought you all should know... fun place to play but the ignorance around type 1 diabetes needs to stop. Do better. read more

Come play on the weekend if you love to wait!!! Over 10 minutes to get through the line to sign the waiver and pay admission (only one cashier could take credit). Over 15 minutes for the zipline, my son was next in line but the staff decided to switch. Over 15 minutes for someone to help me because the vending machine ate my money. (I had decided to use the vending machine because the lone at concession was 10 people long). Over 5 minutes to leave, because there was only one person at the front processing admissions and had to buzz me out to leave. Kids had an OK time but my level of frustration was high because of all the time I spent standing around, waiting to make eye contact or for staff to get to my turn. Not recommended on the weekend, maybe it's better during the week. :( read more

we visited here today for the first time and i was very disappointed. I don't think I saw a single staff member other than the concession . Nothing was kept up - several stalls in the washroom were out of toilet paper, soap dispensers out of soap, hand sanitizers all empty ( tried 5 different ones ), paper towel to day hands was jammed and also one of there sinks were not working. Compared to other indoor play grounds I've been to recently this one was just plain grubby . neat play structures and lots to do for my kiddos but SEVERELY lacking in the upkeep department . read more

My kids loved this place the first time we went, but we all like it less and less each time we go. I was excited when it first opened because it advertised fresh and healthy menu selections, but that menu has quickly diminished. The selection of quick snacks is poor (muffins or cookies) and on one occasion our entire chicken strip and fries order came out tasting of burnt oil and doused in black pepper. To top it off, they were also down to only 2 fountain pop options at the time which I wasn't told until after I had ordered and paid for drinks. On our most recent trip, the area near the steps was sectioned off for construction on the rock wall. My child ended up hurt up on the trampoline and I didn't understand if I was supposed to go all the way up through the large play structure to get to him or ignore the "caution tape" and chairs blocking the stairs. If the stairs were blocked off, the upstairs trampoline area should not have been available to children. Once his bit lip was dealt with, my 7 year old then slipped on the cement floor and got a big goose egg on his head. The majority of the floor is slick painted cement where everyone is required to wear socks and kids are running around playing. He is not the only child I have seen slip, so grip socks should be required or the floor should be treated with a better surface. At this point we will not be returning to Allstars. It is the most convenient for us in terms of location, but we have had too many negative experiences there to be worth going back and spending the money. The play area is great really huge! Parents don't have to bend over too bad in some areas. I'd say my only complaints is the cleanliness of the place, from stray socks and food in play areas to the huge dust bunnies is places. A lot of staff standing around and gossiping. There are a few good ones walking around at least they look busy. Oh and the washrooms are dirty too, in fact all the clean supplies are on the ground and easily accessible to kids. Also hubby took kid here twice and had trouble with waiting for food. Cause the staff was asking if they ordered it first instead of checking if it was actually for a customer. They were compensated thankfully. All in all great place for your kids to run off steam, be cautious of other kids cause some parents don't watch theirs, and be wary of the food and cleanliness. The newest play place has opened up in Edmonton on the south side. All Stars is a MASSIVE play place that has a huge assortments of games, climbing structures and play things to keep the kids busy. I took my 1.5 year old on a week day and it was not busy at all. We tried to find a toddler are but they had just opened and there was not a lot for little little ones at the time. ( I think they have added some more in the toddler zone). They had a good amount of arcade games and the actual climbing structure is huge. But those are more suited for older kids. There seems to be a ton of party rooms and a lot of area to sit and watch the kiddies. There is an ipad section and trampoline section too which are located on the upstairs. There was a big room which I think is where they have some classes and such. It would have made a good space to set up a toddler room! The place was super clean and sparkling. I really liked that the space was so open and easy to get through. It would be nice to have a sectioned off tot area with more things to do for little ones or a lower price for the wee young ones. Altogether it is a nice place for older kids to burn off some energy. read more

It's a big space which is nice however they are very slow in service with the kitchen. I went on a day where there may have been 5 people in the whole space and it took almost 30 min to make a smal veggie bowl and grilled cheese . When I mentioned that it's been awhile the person working said it wasn't too long . 30'min when your dead seems long . Dropped if the youngest for a birthday party two weeks ago. Full parking lot ; so difficult finding a parking spot within safe walking distance. You have to park on the street and cross the parking lot to get in - no drop off pick up zone. Inside, it was very noisy. All boot racks were full. After two hours, I returned to pick up the kid; who was exhausted! He said it was very fun. They seem to have a lot of food and accessories for adults such as wifi, electrical outlets etcetera. My kids have been back there twice since I wrote the first review. It occupies a special place in their heart, so yes we will come back again soon! read more

Amazeballs. Ive been to plenty of indoor playgrounds all over the province with my three active boys and this is hands down a favourite. First, it's giant. It would take several visits to thoroughly explore all of it. This means my older boys aren't immediately bored. Second, the variety of activities. There is a ginormous climbing structure, trampolines, a spot to dance, arcade style games to play, iPads, a ZIPLINE, and safe spots for the younger crowd to hang out as well. You could easily spend 2+ hours here instead of the 1.5 hour maximum we usually hit with other places. Third, it's clean. Like super clean. I don't feel gross touching surfaces, I don't feel like my kids are going to catch Ebola. This is important. Lastly the food/Cafe. Thank god one of these places decided to offer real food. I used to sneak in my own snacks to these places because I hated that only deep fried crap was on offer. All stars has salads, sandwiches, muffins, fruit smoothies and cut fruit and veg. Yay! While the entry fee was higher than some play places, you get a better place in return. It is worth the higher cost to have genuinely entertained (and tired!) kids of various ages. read more

My kids love coming here to burn energy. It's a nice alternate version to outdoor playgrounds when the weather is cold. In the past I would have given 4, if not 5 stars, but when I asked for cups for my kids to get a drink of water, I was told that's "not our policy." Not your policy? To keep kids hydrated? The last time I was here there were water dispensers everywhere. They can't even provide a water fountain. All beverages must be purchased. I guess they don't make enough money off of admission and game tickets. Not to mention the $4.50 for a single slice of mediocre pizza. It appalling that a place won't even provid FREE WATER to its patrons. read more

When we walked in and were at the til a blonde employee was absolutely rude to our children when it came time to get their hand stamped. Then we stood there for 5 minutes and no one pushed the buzzer to open the gate. The table we had was filthy and no one came to clean it. We went to go purchase a game card at the arcade and the machine declined my card and no one was at the kiosk in the arcade at all! Completely rude staff that don't seem to care about children at all..... such a shame. read more

My girlfriend and I took her nephew here. What's good about this place is that it's big. They have a lot of space. They seem less crowded which is a great. I liked the fact that they had a lot of sitting area for the parents and kids (they have upstairs and downstairs sitting areas). This place is new. One thing I thought was neat was that they had a zipline for kids (obviously they have staff there to assist and supervise the children at the zipline). My mom wanted to do something special with her two grandchildren. My daughter just turned 4 yrs old and my 7 yr old non-verbal autistic son were both very excited about attend a new play place. 30 minutes after arriving my 4 yr old little girl had an accident. My mom cleaned her up and asked if she was ok, my daughter insisted she was and did not want to leave however a change of clothes was needed. My mom asked the person at the front desk, if she could run out to get some clothes. She was told that she could but she would have to pay another $20.00 to get back in. She then asked to speak to the manager hoping to explain the situation. Jessica (manager) told my mom that she could leave the kids there with "someone" and come back. She was alone and because of my son's special needs, we are not able to leave him with just anyone. My mom than had to drive over an hour home (we do not live in Edmonton) with two crying little kids in the back seat. Because of my son's Autism, it can take some time to calm down. Seeing them returning home in tears, broke my heart and I felt was unnecessary. I then called and spoke to Jessica, hoping it was just a misunderstanding. She told me, under no circumstances is re-entry possible and that she looked forward to reading my review. I do not write this review for her, I write it for the special needs parents or parents of young children, DON'T GO HERE. There are several play places in Edmonton that have a much more understanding policies. read more

This is an OK place to spend time with young ones. It is costly, like other indoor playgrounds, but it offers the same entertainment and the grandkids had fun. My big complaint is the quality of food and service at the cafe. I am celiac. The menu says there are options, so I asked. I was told by the lackadaisical employee that there isn't any. Just salads and veggies and dip. When I pointed out the fact that the menu says there are options, she said, "well, we have dough...pizza dough". No offers of what they could do with it for me. I asked for water and was told it was in a vending machine. I was not happy that I couldn't get a water, and the employee stated that if I wanted a glass of water, she could do that and proceeded to tell me that they used to have pop machines but parents let their kids ruin them. I love it when employees bash their guests...who are paying their wages. The chips that they are proud of were greasy and tasted like stale oil. The pizza my granddaughter had was dripping in grease...literally. We will come back, but we will be fed ahead of time and will ask (carefully and very specifically) for water in a cup. read more
