The event environment was just beautiful and very theme appropriate, as was the dress. The pre-show entertainment was fun; however, the main attraction was less then professional. I've seen better threater entertainment from an elementary school play. The food was just not what would be expected for the cost of the event ($85.00 per person). They served "a" chicken leg with roasted potatoes, carrots & 2 pieces of pork. Dessert was simply a few slices of fruit and a flat pie (maybe cherrie???). There was also an option of a chicken thigh; however, you would have to ask for that. It was avertises as buffet style; however, you are served by 4 servers behind 4 food heaters / chafing trays...which was a school cafeteria style / soup kitchen style, not buffet style! I asked for a chicken breast; however, was told that they had none! I asked why as there were chicken breast in medieval times. The only response I got was that they have no white chicken! We requested additional bread & red wine (as there was only 2 plastic jugs of wine and 2 small baskets of bread at our table of 12). We did not receive our request. We began watching the show and were quickly disappointed. We all kept thinking that it would improve as the show went on; however, we all left at intermission as it was just terrible entertainment. My spouse called the Celtic Hall to express our disappointment in the show & food. He spoke with an organizer of the event and was simple told "that's your opinion" and something along the lines that our group was welcome not to return again. So very disappointing! I would not recommend this show.

Event planner, do you need them?…read more usually we just plan whatever occasion we had by ourselves, but if you want to make your special day more special and unforgettable, not to mention hassle free, my advice is to get an event planner, and that's were wedding ever after comes in handy! Money well spent, very professional, they give options and advices to make your day more special whatever your budget is! But don't just take my word, try them yourself and you'll be glad to hire them!

I've found the staff to be very helpful here, if a bit overwhelmed. They're always really busy on weekends, so I try only to go on a weekday if I can help it. That way, I get full staff attention. I love that they have a table-making station where you can pair table linens with placemats, candle holders, and other festive decorations, and about a dozen or so tables are all dressed up for inspiration. For most items, you can rent the day before and return the day after, and almost anything about your order can be changed up until 48 hours before the event. That's very helpful for a bride with changing guest numbers!

As we did not have a lot of time to set up after the funeral service and with no instructions making the coffee was a disaster. No lines for amount of water or coffee. When I returned the coffee and hot water urns, we were told the instructions were taped on the bottom of the box . My name was taped over the instructions so we had no idea they were there. Why not put the instructions on the top, near the top or inside the box or unit. Why hide it under my name?

I had to add a couple of extra linens and gold mercury votives on after we had outlined the original contract and it was no issue to add these on after the fact.
