Horrible, not for people who have foot infections unless you are willing to pay $5 extra for some stupid grippy socks. It was absolutely horrible. The staff said "you need to take off your socks or just buy some socks" I don't wanna buy some overpriced $5 socks just to jump on a trampoline for one hour! Neither do I want to be barefoot because one of my friends had an infection on his foot once and didn't pay for socks. It says the facility is being cleaned lots, but never have I EVER seen eve 1 staff cleaning the trampolines. The trampolines were absolutely dirty. I came! I saw! I...well I don't know if I conquered but heck at least I survived...this place is way more of a workout than one might think! My visit was courtesy of a coupon I got out of a book whose proceeds go towards acquiring service animals for wounded vets so kudos to Launchpad for being willing to take a bit of a hit financially to support a great cause! The facility itself is huge with several different games like basketball and dodge ball set up incase you or your little ones aren't into just straight jumping. You have to go in without socks which at first made me a bit leery but upon inspection it looks like they do a decent job of keeping the place tidy. My friend who is a major germaphobe even gave it her stamp of approval which I was not expecting. The staff are friendly (at least the three we deal with were pretty good) I even saw one playing with a little girl who looked to be four or five whose older brothers had left her behind to do their own things. Considering all the staff we saw were also teens that was way more involvement than I had been expecting and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I think my only real complaint with this place is how the timing of the jumps works. As a prior reviewer mentioned your time starts as soon as the band is printed and ignores the fact it takes a person a few minutes to take their shoes off and get a locker. I want to believe they are aware of that and it seemed that way as we weren't chased out right at 7 but it also was not busy when we went so they make be stricter in peak hours. All in all it was a cool experience and a great workout! Don't just take my word for it though...pile some friends and family into the car and go check it out for yourself. This place truly gives us all a pretty good reason to be bouncing off like one happy kid. Great place to be carefree and I must admit - it was a good workout session. I could not even think about the gym after this! My sweat was pouring like the summer rain.. No kidding! An hour worth of heart-pumping activity was enough to make me go " wow! That was intense yet fun ". A place for any age (especially the hyper-active little ones) to give themselves a whooping good time if anyone dreads the boring gym environment. They even have a dodgeball trampoline area where you can have a little battle of fun or two. I do agree with @Marc D that the padding between trampolines could use some improvements. Who would of though that jumping around trampolines would be exhausting? But after 15 mins, I'm wiped! After 30 minutes sweat is pouring down my face. After 45 minutes, I'm done! Found myself at launch pad for Yelp Edmonton's fit club. And frankly had a lot of fun. I particularly enjoyed the basketball hoops. It was 10 mins of doing slam dunks my mind always wanted to try, but never could do. And half the fun is hitting people with ultra soft dodge balls. Except when you throw too hard and catch your community manager in the face (sorry Jennie, wanted to go low). And to be honest, I had to be a little more cautious here with this activity because the padding between trampolines, though generous, didn't seem like it was enough. We spent just over an hour with our 2.5 year old bouncing and playing. It cost $8 to get the boy in and then I was free as his supervisor. My wife stayed with our baby in the surprisingly large parent viewing area that is nicely setup with couches. They have a large dodgeball arena, which is earmarked for kids under 8 when dodgeball is not in session and the rest of the area is for all ages. You just have to keep an eye on your smaller kids so that they don't accidentally get 'super bounced' by an adult. read more

It has potential. We hit neon night at didn't know what to expect. I'm not sure if every neon night is like the one we experienced but they set the venue up with black lights and dance music- which is super fun. But one of main reasons we were most excited to check this place out as a large group of adults was to get some dodgeball on. Unfortunately the children were doing as they wanted and games were not being organized. Their was a staff member there but they really just pointed us to the rule board and said as long as you don't break these rules do what you want. We tried to organize some games but of course kids that just wanted to stay in did so and no real monitoring was going on. We discovered the rope ladder set that you would climb over the foam pit and hit a cow bell at the top. This was one of the coolest items they have there and very challenging. But it was one of the only items. I think there is a lot of potential for more rope climbing or rope challenges. In that same area is a raised platform leading onto a rock climbing wall but with all the sweat and the choice of teeny tiny rocks it was nearly impossible to get very far on this Rockwall making it not a really fun experience. They also had basketball and with the neon lights it looked fantastic but they only had two hoops and two basketballs and those kids that had them we're not really willing to give them up for others to use. So we never actually had a chance to try that. With the space that's there it looks like they could've had a few more basketball nets set up. There is parking, there are lockers- open concept and if you want one that locks it will cost $1.00. If it changes and more elements are added perhaps we would consider going again. read more

We brought my daughter and relatives son here for an hour of bouncing around! I was not exactly sure what to expect. First things first you must fill out and sign a release waiver releasing you rights to sue the place. After a few minutes of hanging out here I can clearly see why. There are more trampolines to shake a stick at and foam pits everywhere. Also in the middle there is a netted in area where bigger kids are whipping balls at each other for live dodgeball. Some random thoughts that come to mind: - Why the hell as a young boy did they not have these places where I was a kid growing up?? - This place....I have no idea how it functions and how kids have not jumped or done a flip on another person. Not sure how some kid has not had a compound fracture or paralysed by landing a flip on your neck. - minimal supervision means it's jump at your own risk. - you must go barefoot so the foam pit I cringe at how unsanitary the foam blocks are as they are filled with sweat! My relative who is a total germ phobe was saying "you don't know how much I want this hour to end". Yes some of my thoughts were negative but my daughter and the kids had an absolute blast. I made sure to watch them and it's a great place to jump off some energy. At $14.50 an hour I'd declare it as money well spent and no injuries were had! read more

Launch Pad! My desire to release my kung fu super high kicks and the promise of a good work out was what brought me here. It was exactly as promised, very much fun. They have a free bouncing area, and a dodge ball area that I tried out. I heard there was a foam area, but I never went there. I got to do a lot of jumping, bouncing and dodge ball. It was lots of fun . It was also a very goofy kind of fun. As a work out , I'd say it rated with squash for pure cardio. Biggest Pros 1. It makes you remember having fun as a kid 2. A great way to add extra non-running cardio 3. Lots of room to jump and bounce makes for a a great date spot Biggest Cons 1. I have been planning to go here for a long time and eventually I did. This place is way better than the Jump360 place i've been to. 1st they have a massive foam pit but is a struggle to move around but feels fun. The only reason I can't give it a full 5 star is because the sanitization level of the foam pit is dirty and debris in the air will make you sneeze or even sick. Best thing to avoid it is not thinking about it or not going in there at all. They have a small section where you can do rock climbing but the difficulty level is high. They have a dodgeball jumping area, regular jumping area, kids jumping playground, a small balance rope area, and a lounge for waiting. Parties for kids or regular adults can be hosted here for a cost. Lockers are available and box shelves to place your shoes. There is a ramp for handicap people but not sure who'd want to be joining the fun here except to supervise. There is a concession stand to keep the energy flowing, staff is friendly, washrooms are well kept and parking is moderately big but shared among industrial sites. Recommended for anyone looking to hop around, just know that this place can get tiring overtime. read more

Lots of athletic fun for the kids, in a TV/video games world. As an aside, we also had a great customer service experience here. On April 21, my girlfriend and I took her nieces to Launch Pad, which they were of course thrilled about, having been many times before. Unfortunately, their jump was preempted by an event, so they were only able to jump for 30 mins. Apologetic, their manager said he would make the next jump up to the girls. We called before taking them again on June 24, telling the associate Tyler about our last jump experience and that there should be notes on file regarding our previous visit, which was cut short. Tyler not only took ownership of the situation when he found notes weren't left on file by reviewing the dates to see which event took place that evening, but he also told us to ask for him once we got there, as he would personally see that we were taken care of. It was important to him that he was there to greet us in person and to welcome us back to the facility. Our visit was taken care of, and the girls were given passes for their next ones as well. Mistakes happen, double bookings happen... taking ownership of a situation and then ensuring a customer is not only pleased with the solution (regardless of compensation- making it right is what's important), but expressing gratitude for their continued patronage and understanding... that goes a long way. Tyler was fantastic and Launch Pad is a place we will definitely return to. Not just because of the facility, but because of how the staff- namely Tyler- made us feel. read more

I recently took my nephews here with a coupon I received in a savings booklet. A little unorganized and inexperienced from staff, but young and ambitious. They were trying, but I feel as though the lack of training hinders improvement. My 2 nephews were wearing flip flops and forgot socks, luckily this place had us covered! Mind you a little expensive, but beats going home to grab some! Plus they had little rubberized bottoms for grip. We enjoyed ourselves! One thing I would encourage is more supervision. Some very small children in areas that were deemed unsafe for their size. I know parents should be monitoring, but staff should be around for this as well. Lots of fun, for all ages! If you're older than age 16 however, you will probably tire out quicker than you'd think! Jumping is hard work... This is a barefoot type of place, so if you're a germaphobe look into purchasing some of their jumpy socks. For everyone else as long as you don't think too long about how gross other people's feet probably are, it's fine... They've got a few different sections - the Mini jumpers area for small tots, the regular trampolines, a dodgeball section, a climbing wall, and a foam pit to launch yourself into. I usually stick to the regular jumping areas. The foam pit is not only questionable in terms of cleanliness, but also is IMPOSSIBLE to get out of. Then you feel awkward holding everyone else up while you flounder in the pit. I've never experience quick sand, but this is what I imagine it feels like. There's also an awesome couch area equipped with wifi for parents to hang out while their kids jump. Beware of the busy times! It can get incredibly crowded and kids usually don't have the best sense of staying in their own space or avoiding collisions. I wouldn't come here often on my own, but as a cool older sister to a young child, it's the perfect afternoon activity to bond with! read more

Okay, we went last night with a group of friends for an impromptu birthday. The kids ranged in age from nearly three (mine) to almost 14. They all had an amazing time, and there is a ton of space if it's not busy, which it wasn't. Finn fell once, which kinda worries me even though the big kids were there to look after him, as they staff does an absolutely crap job of watching the place. They seemed to just stand in a clump in the middle, regardless of where patrons actually were. The foams outs were a big hit, as was the slide and climbing wall in the little kids area. There is also a dodge ball area, basketball hoops, and slack line, and lockers are available for rent. There are tons of couches available for non jumpers, but I'm not sure if they would be enough if it was busy. So, the reason for three stars. The place is big, yes, but I don't think there is enough staff for the size. Naturally, parents should be watching their own kids, but staff at these places should be around to enforce rules. The price for an hour also seemed a little steep: $9.50 for a 2 year old for an hour was a lot, especially because your time starts when you get your wristband, not when you start jumping, so in the winter you have to get all your stuff off, which cuts into your time. If we had a deal we might come back, but not when it was packed. read more

Super fun, and a great workout. Wear your workout gear, and if you're not in great shape, stay out of the foam pit (it's definitely tough getting out). An hour is enough for most people (especially kids). It would be nice if there were more options at concession, but I'm thinking the point is to go and jump and not mill around. I love reliving my youth and this is a great way to do it. If anybody has never played dodgeball in a trampoline pit, you are completely missing out. In theory, a trampoline park would be amazing. There are justo a couple of things that toon a couple of stars away from my review. 1) it seemed really dirty to me when I went. We went on a weekday so it wasn't particularly crowded, but it still seemed extremely unsanitary. There was a puddle of questionable liquid on and beside a bench which staff clearly saw but ignored. You also had to be barefoot which is just a disease/fungi/infection waiting to happen. 2) they say that once you sign a waiver, they'll have you in their system. When I tried to go back (my friends keep wanting to go for their birthdays) they say they have no record of me. 3) some of their trampolines are already stretched out and losing their spring...which for a newer company, you wouldn't expect that from. 4) they have a foam pit which they only clean once a month...for cold and flu season, means that hundreds of children have already spat, sneezed, and coughed on the foam that you're surrounded by. 5) they seem understaff and there are no designated areas for young children or teens and adults, meaning that someone will probably end up getting in an accident. I could only imagine how packed that place could be and the increased risk for injury! (though, I'm a wuss!) If you have energetic kids and you're looking for something different to do, Launchpad is definitely worth checking out. They have a bouncing area with basketball hoops, a foam pit you can LAUNCH into, and a dodgeball court! Unfortunately I have only been to launch pad once and I probably won't go back. I went there with my two friends and we went to the dodge ball area. I was mid air but wasn't super high when I started falling backwards. I landed on the metal diver separating trampolines. I thought I had just bruised my tailbone. Turns out I had fractured my L1 and L2 in my spine and had to be in a brace for three months. When I looked back the bar didn't have proper padding on it and if I were a little kid I could have done alot more damage. Make sure there is proper padding on your equipment! read more

My only consistent complaint is that the staff overall seem to lack enthusiasm and are generally disinterested or not engaged with the customer. I have called this company twice, and sent two emails, about booking a birthday party. I have never received any return contact from them. I posted about this experience on their facebook page, and immediately got a phone call asking me how they could get me to stop "blasting" their facebook page. Not an apology for a bad experience. Just a warning about "slander." The fellow didn't seem to see the irony of the fact that if they'd been as responsive about my inquiries as they were about my facebook post, they wouldn't have had a facebook post to respond to. In any case, I took my kids there this week, and while they definitely had a great time, I had some concerns. It was extremely crowded, for one thing, with adults and little kids all jumping in a common space (they do have a little kids' space but seemingly no restrictions about keeping little kids in that designated space). The crowding and the common jumping space all felt unsafe to me. As others have said, the sign-in process is insane. Even if you pre-buy tickets, you're in for a really long wait. And their website booking system doesn't seem to function if you're trying to add more than 4 people, which I was. They need to do some user testing on it to see for themselves how confusing and broken it is when you try to add more than 4 people to a family. They only do digital waivers, which means that any underage jumper could sign the waiver online and say his parent did it. When we got there we hadn't signed waivers (because the online process didn't work for more than 4 people) so we were sent to the side to digitally sign waivers. No one checked to see that we actually did it, probably because there were at lest a hundred people in the line and two harried young girls trying to keep things together. To me that seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. The facility itself has no space to store valuables, which creates a bit of a conundrum about what to do with purses, wallets, keys etc. The floors in the front area were littered with the little white papers that come off the wristbands you have to wear to jump, and there were overflowing garbage cans and pop spills on the floors. You have to wear bare feet to jump, so you're walking on that filthy floor in bare feet. In terms of bare feet - this is a concern to me. All those people in a common space seems to me to be a recipe for shared fungal infections. Yuck. The bottom line is - my kids had fun and want to go back. It's a really fun business idea with great potential. But it's got a very long way to go in terms of its systems and procedures before I'd ever consider giving it a positive rating. read more

My kids always ask to go to launch pad when we have guests from other cities or something. It's great place to sweat and burn energy.

I have been to Launch Pad about half a dozen times since it opened with my three children (ages 10, 12, 15) and their friends. Initially, when it first opened, it was not as busy and the kids had a blast! It is a great place to go to burn off energy on days where the weather is 'not so nice'. I love that parents can fill out the waiver online as it allows me to pick up a car-load of kids to join in on the fun. Of course, word travelled fast with this business and it has just gotten busier and busier...to the point that we have left early (once) and (once) not even bothered to go in after seeing how busy it was. We have always jumped for two hours - the second hour is discounted, so it ends up being just over $20 per person. I will say that every time we have been in the staff has been very helpful and super friendly. We had our year end hockey party here on a very busy evening and, as there were very few under-eights, they opened this area for under 12s - I totally appreciate their open-ness to changing to suit the needs of their customer. It is really great to see a business that actually appeals to adults, teens and children and gets them up off the couch and away from electronics. All in all, our family loves launch pad. I only wish a few less people knew about it! (Thinking about it now, maybe I should have written a less than great review so less people would go and I would have it to myself!) read more

This place has the potential to be great fun, but they have a lot of work to do first. Went there on a Saturday afternoon. The lineup to get in was about 50 feet long (not single file either). And the time it took to process each person was at least 2 minutes. So the lineup barely moved. They need to improve that process badly. Secondly, once in, it was over run with little kids. It seemed over crowded. I don't know what capacity is, but I'm guessing they blew through it. We had a group of young adults and ended up playing dodgeball with and against some very small children. This shouldn't happen. I would suggest maybe reserving the evening hours for age 13+. It was tough to get any enjoyment with so many young kids running around. For young kids, it would have been awesome. For anyone over 18 , not so much. At least during a Saturday afternoon. Also, they have no change rooms. You have to get changed in the bathroom. Uncool! Then you have no where to store your valuables (at least no where that I saw). Never a good idea to jump on a trampoline with your car keys in your pocket. read more

Although the idea of a park like this seems super fun and like a good chance to get some exercise, the unorganization, of the actual main trampoline area, is ridiculous!! People are jumping into people (cause injury, I've seen a broken neck here) and while people are flipping off the semi vertical sloped trampolines kids are running freely behind them. It's a recipe for serious injury. All though the small children wildly running may be due to the parents not supervising properly this place NEEDS a better organization system for the safety of everyone while jumping. I attended Launchpad on a weekday morning, so random kids running around were at a minimum (it's an absolute zoo during weekends). We had tons of fun and such a great aerobic workout - there was trampoline basketball, trampoline dodgeball, trampolines on a slanted wall to do flips off... But everyone's favourite part were the trampolines leading to the giant foam pit which you can jump, flip and dive into. I am taking one star off due to the unsanitary nature of the activity - you are required to be in bare feet, and you get pretty gross and sweaty, so you can imagine how disgusting those trampoline and foam pits are! I've read that other trampoline places sell grippy socks, and I would have loved that as an option. Also, you really have to know your limits and be responsible for your own safety here. There have been deaths or paralysis at similar trampoline places in the US because someone was trying a trick beyond their capability and landed incorrectly. Be safe! Prices are pretty reasonable - an hour jump at $14.50 (which is plenty!), 2 hours for $22.50. Tuesdays are 20% off. You can pre-purchase tickets online for a specific time, which is crucial in peak times so you don't get there and be forced to wait until there's an opening. They also apparently offer aerobics classes on the trampolines, which I haven't tried, but sounds like an intriguing twist to a boring old exercise class. read more

Just came back from there after attending a kids' bday party. They improved it from a year ago where they separated a smaller trampoline are for kids who are 4feet or less. However, if you're looking for good value, keep looking. The are adamant, almost Nazi-like in telling guests that their time is up, based on the bracelet the kids are wearing. It wasn't even busy. But the kids were kicked out since their party time was up. Have held/attended parties at other locations (All Stars, Treehouse) where kids are allowed to stick around after the specified party time. Ended up spending more money in the concession. But the way the staff (tall guy with glasses, no name badge) just kicked us out. It was very rude. No thanks! Will take my money elsewhere! read more

I won't deny that bouncing around on numerous trampolines made me feel like a kid again but everything else that went along with this visit truly warrant the 1-star rating I've given it. - Let's start with our first impression: Upon arrival we squeezed into the doorway assuming we were in line. This was no line. There were no dividers and no one giving directions to the hoard of people jammed into the entry. Prior to paying admission guests must fill out a rather extensive waiver on one of just three iPads. Having only three stations to fill out waivers is just ridiculous considering there were 100+ people trying to use them. - Once we were finally able to use the iPad we re-joined the crowd - not line. There were people butting to the front that had pre-paid. The staff looked completely overwhelmed. There was no one giving the staff or many unruly customers direction. I'd also like to point out that the staff were all of 15 years old. I truly felt bad for them. Just as we stepped up to the counter after waiting 45 minutes in this mess the giant clock above the counter read: We've reached max capacity - Next Jump in 1 hour. The young man at the cash register told us that when we come back just walk to the head of the line. I was hesitant to do so as this was the whole reason we were now waiting an extra hour. - After wasting an hour we went back inside to find just the same mess as before. There were so many people who had also been told to come back and get wristbands that we were stuck in another lineup. A full 15 minutes into our 'Jump Time' I'd had enough - I went to the concession and had them page a manager. While waiting for the manager to arrive the polite teenager asked if there was anything he could help with? I briefly explained the situation and he stated, "Oh, no problem. You could've just come here to get a wristband" I was happy the ordeal seemed to be over but I was also furious at the disorganization and lack of support the staff received when it was obvious they were extremely overwhelmed. What a joke. I wont ever be returning here - a potentially fun afternoon was ruined by this ridiculous situation. PS - I have seen cleaner bathrooms in bars at 2am. Whether you are paying $200 for the 1hr jump silver package for 7 kids, or $300 for the 1 1/2hr jump gold package for 10 kids, it works out to $30 per child. A 1 1/2 hr jump ticket is $18.50, which means you are paying and extra $115+ for pop, paper plates and a table to eat your food and open presents, and there's no guarantee the gym won't be overcrowded. Word to the wise, store your jackets in the cubby for the 2 hrs you are there, rent a table at the end for 1/2hr at $35, buy paper plates and napkins at the dollar store $5 and go to Costco for juice boxes $10, and save yourself $65! Launchpad needs to revisit their party packages, most birthday places are far more reasonable. read more

As fun as the launch pad is- the staff are all teens and do not have the skills to properly monitor the young children who frequent here. Other than that it's superb! read more

It got pretty busy here but I suppose that's to be expected with kids out of school for the holidays! My 5yo son had a great time but my 2yo did minimal jumping and played more with the building blocks. I would bring my kids here again. I've been to LZ trampoline park too and found this facility to accommodate the little ones better. read more
