We were invited for a birthday party at Galaxyland's play park. The place seems a lot cleaner than it used to but I would still caution the kids not to touch their faces and use hand sanitizer before and after. They removed some of the more "high-touch" parts like the ball pits. There are still a lot of crowded areas so if your kids feel more comfortable with masks around crowds, I would recommend that. After we played in the play park area, we went down to the go karts area for the "birthday room". There was a sink in the room but no soap so we had to go to the private bathrooms down there to wash hands before food, cake and gifts. Afterwards, we went back to Galaxyland to hop on the rides. They were trying to charge for the full pass but my kids are quite small (6&4) so I asked what rides they CAN go on and also which ones are open today? (Some rides close for maintenance so be sure to ask this question to save some money). So we ended up paying about $20 less that the full price since we only got the rides that were actually available. ($70 for 2 kids plus 1 chaperone). Lots of new rides at Galaxyland and more fun things to do!! So if you haven't been in a while, go check it out!

Fun place to go for kids of all ages--- the one day pass is very expensive if your not going to do ALL OF THE RIDES- check out what rides you want to do first and just buy the tickets. Unless you actually want to be there all day and ride all rides multiple times. Really nice indoor play park for children, but they require socks for adults to be in there- and they do NOT sell them there so if your in Sandals you cannot play with your kid.

I seen Galaxyland through a three year olds eyes and it was fantastic! My daughter is finally (exactly) the right height to go on some rides! I got her the little kid wrist band that was $35 and I got a chaperone wristband (I didn't know that was even a thing) for $15, which I thought was a good deal! Better than paying full price when you can only go on a few rides. But it's actually not a few rides... there are loads. Beginner rides: + Balloon Race + Carousel + Cosmic Bounce + Galaxy Express + Solar Spinner + Fun House + Galaxy Kids Play Park Intermediate rides: + Lazer Vault + Time Freak + Flying Galleon + Galaxy Quest Galaxy Express, The Flying Galleon and Fun House were our favourites and we went on those multiple times before leaving. I like that there are a few she could also go on alone. She came out of that place a thrill seeker and we had the most fun day together!

Wow they have rides for everyone at all ages. They have a pretty big and high roller coaster. It goes so fast. It does 3 loops and last for quite some time. I like how they do so many checks before having that thing run. The coast of that ride is $12 and its super scary looking. I have no guts to go on it. I also like how they make good use of space to maximize the things they can put into the limited space. It was pretty busy inside and noisy. But the noise is contained. Once you leave Galaxyland, you don't hear the screams and loud noise.

I had a lot of fun at Galaxyland! For an inside amusement park, it is very impressive! They have beginner, intermediate and advanced rides, although not in the same proportion... but still a few for adults. My favorite was the mindbender; this is advanced ride where you will feel the speed and adrenaline! My second best was the Galaxy Orbiter, little less speed but lots of spins :) They also have the Autosled for those who don't feel like trying something too fast. Overall they have lots of attractions. I was hesitant about going there as I thought they'd be just for kids but gladly I found some good ones :) If you are planning to be there for a few hours and/or try most of the attractions, I'd suggest to buy the all-day pass or the family pass. Otherwise you will need to buy tickets for each attraction.

There's something about indoor roller coasters and amusements rides that freak me the hell out. I dunno, there's just something unnatural about the whole idea. But that doesn't mean Galaxy Land isn't a fun time. Like Taj mentioned, it's a great way to keep your kids entertained after you've put them through hell by spending 2 hours shopping at a Cottony Ginny. I've taken my little cousins here a few times and they go nuts with excitement.

Great ride it turns 360 with joystick between seats while going round and round

Removed all of there best rides and are catering only to very young children. The price isn't worth it unless you have kids under ~8.

Sooo many obstacles to try and I felt safe in my harness. The lesson to use the harness was fantastic and really easy - didn't catch/pinch my fingers at all. Wish staff were on the higher levels more often as we could not figure out how to work the unicycle but no staff in sight. 2 hours was perfect as by then we were physically exhausted. We did use the full 2 hours. We came exactly at opening hour and was totally worth it as we didn't have to wait for others to use the obstacles and didn't feel rushed. If you buy a ticket there is a bathroom in the campground you can use (need to buy a ticket so they tell you the bathroom code) before you climb. Lockers are quite small (but free) so leave what you can in the car - lots of parking, and it is free! Creekside Eats in the same park was really tasty and had tons of really nice outdoor seating. Our ticket (buy a ticket = get a discount to the other attractions) also came with a 15% discount on target golf which was so much fun too! (worth getting the unlimited buckets for 1 hour).

Closed toe shoes are checked. 2 hours playtime was plenty for us. Sent an email about our photos but never heard back. I signed the waiver and everything too. That's why I'm giving it only 2 stars. Maybe they didn't even snap the photos we asked them to. Staff looked bored and were not attentive. So it was hard to get their attention to take our photo. So I wonder if they even did. Also there was one person who had fallen from the monkey bars. He was just hanging there. His friends were trying to get help but nobody around. I finally found someone. He was on the same level too. Just not paying attention sadly.

Despite the large crowd, the ambiance of the event is great !! The event is great to enjoy the outdoors during the summer as well as foods, but is also a great occasion to see local talents and companies from the region.

Amazing chill concerts. Carnival foods. Carnival rides. Free Tim hortons drinks…read more Kdays used to be lame. But I think it's revamped itself with a new shell post covid. The concert lineup is alot better for 2023 and the layout is fabulous. You basically can see the stage from anywhere on the south grounds! Also it's been so easy getting to front row bc edmontonians are so chill and just want to drink and dance. Nobody shoving or pushing to get to the front. I've never had so much elbow space! I've been to outdoor concerts in vancouver, Montreal, Quebec city, Calgary and nothing is more chill than kdays in edmonton. There was even some hard-core guitar music with a famous band and nobody really moshed... they just cheered and danced. It was lovely!!! Very kid friendly and family oriented. It's safe for kids to go to the front row!!! I'm so impressed with kdays. So far the 2023 lineup has been phenomenal. Elijah wood, talk, Sarah and tiegan, three days grace, all 4 one, Color me badd and always abba. Like everyday has been a blast and I think I might have to spend the summer at kdays from now on! Bonus...the vip premier party is the only way to get true front row standing space for concerts. And usually they performers come down to the stage, do meet and greets or give gifts to the crowds. If ure a fan of the band playing that night...I'd say it's worth every penny! The premiere area has super clean Porta potties and a nice bar with no lineups. There's also a large seating area for those who don't want to stand. I've tried all the Carnival foods and I love the classics: the original Mini donuts, the pepperoni grilled cheese with freshly cut potatoe fries, spiral spuds with nacho cheese, pinapple whip ice cream, and the halo halo iced dessert to wash all of that down. I'm not a fan of the gimmick foods. Every year I'm pretty disappointed in them so I don't bother anymore. Usually they are too over priced too! My faves that are new this year: the giant deep fried Squid, the Bannock burger and the Arizona fry bread! All of it is delicious! No thank you to the pickle corn dog, the ketchup or mustard ice cream or even the pickled lemonade. Leave the condiments as condiments. Ick. Although it's hilarious watching people try it and see their faces after they wasted so much money. Haha Also don't miss out on the ferris wheel at night foe amazing views of the entire grounds and dt edmonton!!!
