Wow, this place has gone downhill fast! In a matter of a few years, it has pretty much become a total waste of time. It's hard to write this review because there was absolutely nothing memorable about the entire experience. Even the tradeshow/expo area was very badly done with half of the vendor booths empty. The food booths were serving undercooked and disgusting food at triple the cost it was the year before. What are these people thinking? It was insulting and I won't return. Not even if it's free.

    Yearly family fun!

Tried this for the first time. SO AWESOME. Teenagers looked to be the best at this as they were…read moreFearless but was so fun as a full adult as well. Sooo many obstacles to try and I felt safe in my harness. The lesson to use the harness was fantastic and really easy - didn't catch/pinch my fingers at all. Wish staff were on the higher levels more often as we could not figure out how to work the unicycle but no staff in sight. 2 hours was perfect as by then we were physically exhausted. We did use the full 2 hours. We came exactly at opening hour and was totally worth it as we didn't have to wait for others to use the obstacles and didn't feel rushed. If you buy a ticket there is a bathroom in the campground you can use (need to buy a ticket so they tell you the bathroom code) before you climb. Lockers are quite small (but free) so leave what you can in the car - lots of parking, and it is free! Creekside Eats in the same park was really tasty and had tons of really nice outdoor seating. Our ticket (buy a ticket = get a discount to the other attractions) also came with a 15% discount on target golf which was so much fun too! (worth getting the unlimited buckets for 1 hour).

We walked up and they said Online bookings only. But they helped us make the booking nonetheless…read more They got a concession stand on one side of the parking lot. Closed toe shoes are checked. 2 hours playtime was plenty for us. Sent an email about our photos but never heard back. I signed the waiver and everything too. That's why I'm giving it only 2 stars. Maybe they didn't even snap the photos we asked them to. Staff looked bored and were not attentive. So it was hard to get their attention to take our photo. So I wonder if they even did. Also there was one person who had fallen from the monkey bars. He was just hanging there. His friends were trying to get help but nobody around. I finally found someone. He was on the same level too. Just not paying attention sadly.

Galaxyland - Rollercoaster, and indoor play area

Oh gosh Galaxyland... back when it opened when I was a wee child it was Fantasyland but it had to…read morebe renamed and this name came complete with a space theme and Cosmo the mascot. Boy have I had some adventures here! From falling down an escalator as a tot to riding the Mindbender roller coaster back when that was still a thing, showing off the amusement park to university/college students visiting our city from elsewhere or playing laser tag with the band Green Day when they came to town for Edge Fest or most recently visiting to play DDR with my partner or bringing our toddler here to ride rides... Galaxyland is a thing. It can be a place of joy or a place of sorrows... it can certainly be an expensive visit or an inexpensive one depending on how you do it, but it can clearly be a lot of fun! When I was a kid I ADORED The children's play park area. My toddler loved the ball pit when we visited as a family. The rides are a mixed bag. Currently most are themed around Hasbro properties and some aren't really suitable for adults who are exceedingly tall though the height restrictions for children are clearly noted. I have a lot of fond memories here but note that it can be really noisy and crowded so plan accordingly. It is great that in a winter city like Edmonton indoor amusement areas like this one exist, clearly!

This is similar to Circus Circus in Las Vegas but this is twice as good if not better. The rides…read moreare so much fun and exciting. Quite the time and so much thrill. I'm terrified of roller coasters because of the metal hitting the rails and the g-forces but I wanted to have fun. And after visiting here I think I got over that and am looking forward to amusement parks. Tip: if you are staying at the Fantasyland hotel, you can buy passes for more than half the cost. It even includes access to attractions outside the amusement park including mini golf, maze, indoor beach, aquarium, ice rink and much more. We bought the 2-day pass and it paid for itself the first day
