After they took the broken, crumbled bricks out and filled it with cement
    Shamontiel V.

I've given Anuar a run for his money, and I'm delighted that he hasn't dodged my calls yet. This was supposed to be a one-time job to lift one sidewalk slab. After he returned to fix it a second time and assured me he'd come back again if it still tilted, I realized there was another job for this company to do. Although I'd tried to put it off until 2021 (because I knew it wouldn't be cheap), there was another slab of concrete that was so tilted it was creating a puddle that would wet your whole shoe. In rainy weather, that's annoying. Once snow and ice comes, it's dangerous. Three days later, the dirt right there was still mud. So I called him again, knowing I could count on him to lift concrete. I did not expect him to respond in less than 24 hours, but he came right back (even though he does not live in the area). Here's the thing. The man is just full of random facts, and he should really just ignore me when I ask him non-concrete questions. I had no idea they could pull up bricks and fill it with cement. I dreaded chasing around bricklayers but knew those raggedy bricks had to go. (Without doing so, rain, snow and ice would shift from one side of the gangway to the other, progressively getting worse and slippery.) He'd already instructed me on what to do to make sure the first job (sidewalk cement) didn't tilt again (fill with soil underneath and get grass seed). Our grass now looks amazing in one-third of the lawn (and makes the rest of the grass look like trash). I mentioned the weed-and-feed, fertilizer and grass seed I was using to make the old grass match the new version. He just so happened to know another brand that does it better than all of them. I asked if he knew how to fix something else (I will not mention it here because it's not on their website), and it took him less than a few minutes to do it. He's a drawer of knowledge, and I like poking around to see what else he has hidden in there. He's also a really nice guy and cares about his job. I don't even deny being a "tough customer," but he's SO EASY to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone who asked--for cement lifting and all this random home improvement advice he has to give. It's worth every penny.

Adding my 5 star review to the others. Really a great experience. Anuar was so patient and careful at our house in Wheaton, lifting the interior slab which had settled over the years. He took time and explained everything, examined each location with a camera to see if it was safe to inject there, and checked for damage between every little step. It was great to find someone who still takes pride in their work. If I knew it could be so affordable and convenient to level the slab I would have done it years ago. Thanks, Anuar.

These guys did an incredible job! Highly recommend

Anuar at PolyTech Lifting did an awesome job making my front steps SAFE! We just purchased the home and knew it was a hazard for anyone (postal workers, deliveries, neighborhood kids) - he showed up ready to perform the job after giving me insight on their process, a good price, and walking through a few options on sealing a crack. Highly recommend these guys and the technology behind the foam over concrete mud jacking any day. Thanks for excellent work

So far we are extremely happy with our experience with Polytech. They were quick to respond, even were able to come the same day for an estimate since they were doing a job in the area. They answered all of our questions and charged us a fair price. They offered to do the smaller job same day but we were not ready to proceed before doing more research and getting other estimates. We called two days later to schedule and he was able to fit us in the same day. They explained the procedure, were fast, professional, and left the area clean. We would readily recommend them for your concrete lifting needs!

I am disappointed that the condition of my sidewalk prevented me from working with Anuar and Polytech Lifting.

The weather forecast indicated we should be expecting heavy rain. Our condo association decided we couldn't wait and started calling a few companies Saturday evening for emergency roofing services. A number of companies told us they were unable to come on that short notice. We tried Illinois affordable roofing late Saturday evening and were relieved that Sam responded right away and was available to come out the next morning to inspect and tell us our options and try to repair the damage before the storm. He followed up that evening asking for details on materials to come prepared. Sam and his team came out at 8am the next morning and assessed the situation and provided us with different options including a more temporary tarp patch or a patch that would last us longer before we could do a more extensive fix over the summer. We went with the latter. The quotes were reasonable for coming out on a weekend/last minute significant job. Sam was not pushy and gave us time to discuss options with the condo association. He also needed to call people to bring different materials as I thought the roof had shingles but it was the rubber part that was the issue. Sam's team worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done working through some rain and were able to get things patched up. We experienced heavy rain that evening and were incredibly grateful to Sam and his team for their heroic efforts. I would highly recommend their services for roofing especially in an emergency. They were professional and a pleasure to work with.

After submitting my…read morerequest, the team contacted me within just a few minutes and had someone at my home in about 1.5 hours to assess the issue and provide an estimate. Even better -- they were able to start the roof repair right then and there, which was a huge relief given how stressful the situation was. The crew was friendly, professional, and extremely thorough. They were respectful of my house, as they had to traverse 2 sets of stairs to get to my top level where the roof leak was located. They clearly explained what needed to be done and why, took the time to walk me through their plan, and answered all my questions. Their communication and customer service were top-notch throughout the entire process. They also provided photos of the work, which I really appreciated, and worked quickly without cutting any corners. On top of fixing the immediate leak, they identified other areas of my roof that could use reinforcement in the future to help prevent additional issues. Speedy, honest, and reliable -- this team turned a stressful roof emergency into a smooth, manageable experience. Highly recommend!
