Polytech raised my front steps and back patio in April, 2024. They did a very good job and cleaned up well. Lifetime warranty against sinking. In early October, 2024, I found out that my back patio had sunk about 1/3 to 1/2 inch and tore open the side wall stucco. Emailed Polytech and left phone messages but no response at all! Anuar emailed me on Nov 1 and called on November 2 and scheduled a return visit to fix the problem the following week. So, a 5* review presuming that the problem is fixed. read more

I've given Anuar a run for his money, and I'm delighted that he hasn't dodged my calls yet. This was supposed to be a one-time job to lift one sidewalk slab. After he returned to fix it a second time and assured me he'd come back again if it still tilted, I realized there was another job for this company to do. Although I'd tried to put it off until 2021 (because I knew it wouldn't be cheap), there was another slab of concrete that was so tilted it was creating a puddle that would wet your whole shoe. In rainy weather, that's annoying. Once snow and ice comes, it's dangerous. Three days later, the dirt right there was still mud. So I called him again, knowing I could count on him to lift concrete. I did not expect him to respond in less than 24 hours, but he came right back (even though he does not live in the area). Here's the thing. The man is just full of random facts, and he should really just ignore me when I ask him non-concrete questions. I had no idea they could pull up bricks and fill it with cement. I dreaded chasing around bricklayers but knew those raggedy bricks had to go. (Without doing so, rain, snow and ice would shift from one side of the gangway to the other, progressively getting worse and slippery.) He'd already instructed me on what to do to make sure the first job (sidewalk cement) didn't tilt again (fill with soil underneath and get grass seed). Our grass now looks amazing in one-third of the lawn (and makes the rest of the grass look like trash). I mentioned the weed-and-feed, fertilizer and grass seed I was using to make the old grass match the new version. He just so happened to know another brand that does it better than all of them. I asked if he knew how to fix something else (I will not mention it here because it's not on their website), and it took him less than a few minutes to do it. He's a drawer of knowledge, and I like poking around to see what else he has hidden in there. He's also a really nice guy and cares about his job. I don't even deny being a "tough customer," but he's SO EASY to work with. I'd recommend him to anyone who asked--for cement lifting and all this random home improvement advice he has to give. Amazing how much this product can lift even the heaviest slabs. My slab is at least 7 to 8 inches thick. These guys were very professional. Turns out that my sidewalk lift had some problems that made it a bad candidate for foam lifting (was wedged against the house - meant concrete would crack before it would lift). But they tried hard to make it work, and after they were unsuccessful, they gave me a clear explanation and made good recommendations on how else I could get it fixed (either mudjacking or new pour). Polytech's cost estimate was fair and above all else, they were the only company that responded to calls and emails in a timely manner--I can't emphasize how important this is when dealing with construction projects. He took time and explained everything, examined each location with a camera to see if it was safe to inject there, and checked for damage between every little step. Anuar (owner) and his crew arrived on time and were professionally attired. After reviewing my particular situation and working with me on the pricing and details, I awarded the job to him. I asked when he could schedule the job, and to my surprise, he said he could do the work right now. I caught him at a good time in-between jobs today. His team got to work right away and answered any questions I had. All their equipment and truck looked almost new to me. That gave me a comforting feeling, knowing that they had reliable, late model equipment. I asked if I could watch and take a few photos of the before and after work, and they said, "sure - no problem". It was very interesting to watch the entire process. They really wasted no time and kept moving from one drilled hole to the next. After the concrete was back in place where it was supposed to be, they filled two remaining gaps with a special sealant and then filled the bore holes with colored cement. I shopped around and got five different estimates from companies with good ratings on yelp and google. One moron that gave me an estimate told me that a whole driveway needs to be replaced... Polytech showed up and measured everything, sent me an estimate and ended up being the cheapest quotes out of the ones I received by a few hundred dollars. THIS is how a business should be run and others should emulate them because, if there were more companies like them in the world, it'd make being a consumer a whole lot easier. This review is a little late but still very well deserved. On 7/15 I called and spoke to the team advising them that I was in a bind. I was selling my house that day but the presale inspection required by my town discovered that the walkway leading up to my stairs had sunk resulting in my 1st step being too tall. The guys were out that day to give me an estimate and told me they could do it in a couple hours. They took care of it, the village reinspected and I had no issues. Recently, Anuar and his team came to raise a piece of sidewalk that was sinking. When it rained a puddle formed, and in the winter it was a sheet of ice. The sidewalk is a general walkway used by many, and was an accident waiting to happen. Now, the sidewalk is smooth and level with the rest of the walkway. We had 3 quotes. PolyTech Lifting was the most reasonable, honest, courteous, and efficient. About a week after completion, they came back to make sure the sidewalk was level, and worked on it some more. Update. So, we used them in April of 2018 and they SEEMED great. However, as time went on, that was not the case. The extra work they did? We realized they cut into a portion of our home's foundation, and the way they repaid a patch of concrete now makes it a flood zone. All of the lifting they did has sunken back down, and looks worse than it previously did. Anuar did not return phone calls or emails until it was convenient for him. They showed up once, surveyed the issues and said they'd return within a week - that was 3 months ago. So much for that satisfaction guarantee. read more
