Jeff did 2 homes for us- doors, windows, door knobs, shower enclosures. First one was fine the 2nd one not good. 3 windows were measured wrong, caused a delay. - 1 I caught b4 it was ordered. Run away...if you are considering a purchase from PolyPro. I ordered 8 interior doors and casements, which were paid for in full September 1, 2023. What should have taken 6-8 weeks for delivery instead took over 12 MONTHS. Reason? The order for the doors was never placed until NEARLY 10 MONTHS after the fact; and the casements order wasn't placed for nearly a full year. I can think of only one reason for such negligent behavior---that the money paid for my order was diverted to other business or personal needs, causing the extreme delay in placing my order. (Realize I could be mistaken, but I can think of no other reason that makes sense to me.) I actually had to threaten pursuance by my credit card company for a full refund unless my order was placed immediately. Only then were steps taken to place my order. Communication is a real problem and is almost nonexistent both within the organization and with customers. When I tried to communicate for status updates over the prior months, my calls were ignored. At one point, I was even told that voicemail was broken. I suspect Spectrum might say otherwise, but even if it were true, what are the odds that a business professional would allow his voicemail to not function for months on end? When my order was finally delivered mid-August 2024 (50 weeks later), only 6 of the 8 doors were delivered, with zero casements. Jeff didn't even realize that 2 of the doors were missing and wanted me to verify the order! Upon follow-up, I was advised that the manufacturer had a mechanical malfunction causing the shortage. Whether that was true, a falsehood, or another indication of financial woes, I have no idea. The two remaining doors were finally received at PolyPro two weeks later, but getting them delivered to me was another nightmare! Although the office assistant confirmed delivery on Wednesday, August 28th, delivery was instead attempted Friday, August 23rd with NO NOTIFICATION. I had been gone most of that day, and late for my next appointment when the delivery attempt was made, so I was not able to accept it. Still in anticipation of delivery Wednesday, August 28th (as no one had indicated otherwise), I hired someone to help me stain the doors and casements in preparation for installation the following week. No delivery was ever even attempted---not Wednesday (8/28), not Thursday (8/29), not Friday (8/30). Realize I live only 2 miles from PolyPro and the remaining order consisted of only 2 doors and casements, but my pleadings were ignored. My labor schedule was quashed. It is now 367 days since my order should have been placed, and I am finally able to say that my doors and casements have been delivered. I am missing one component---the framework needed to hang my closet door---but I have given up on Jeff providing it, even though he said he would order it on multiple occasions. I have since purchased the framework (already constructed, even) through Mayan Hardware, who is a supplier for the same door company used by PolyPro. The nightmare is finally coming to a close. I have been lied to, ignored, neglected, disrespected, and taken for granted. If you want the chance to experience the same, PolyPro is for you. However, if you want an experience you can count on, you might want to consider working with one of the many other window and door suppliers, and save yourself the headaches, frustration, and anxiety. I am saddened by the need to submit this review---I don't do it lightly and vacillated whether to post it at all---but I came to realize that businesses shouldn't be able to treat people so callously without any consequence. read more

They sell windows and hardware for your house...but they do not install anything. Know that ahead of time.

No one will return calls, never opened to public, won't fix what they sell or answer any question about handling repairs to what they sell. All I want is either a yes or no that they can fix or replace retractable screen doors. Bought 3 and had 2 red tee Ed but since Covid no answer about any replace or repair. read more

Ordered a super unique door from them and it's awesome! Next ordered a Dutch door for a side porch entrance and it is also perfect and great quality. BTW - during storms, the panes they installed LEAKED. They came out to squirt silicone, promised to come back to trim the sloppy excess and never showed. We have done a lot of business with Poly Pro Window and Door Company. This is small business with few employees and does a lot of business all over the Central Coast. However they perform as if a larger company. We have bought windows, doors, door hardware, trim, moldings and handrails from them over the last few years. Most recently, we purchased 3 Keytu Retractable Screens from them. The screens are amazing! Easy to install. Easy to operate and very attractive. Very shortly after installing them we had a little mishap with the screen (not the screens fault). The owner of PolyPro came over immediately and tried to fix it himself. When he was unable to fix it in place. He removed it and took it to his shop. Still unable to fix it, he replaced it and NO COST to us! The products they carry and the service they provide has always been 5 star. We highly recommend PolyPro Window and Doors. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Customer service is deplorable. We ordered windows in November, they arrived at Poly Pro on December 4th. They got installed in February because of "Weather". I made the mistake of allowing the installation to be done when we were not there (it's a vacation home) and when I walked in they were not complete. The installer had sent me a bill which I did not pay because I thought installation was included. As it was explained to me he did extra work that was not included. Leary, I drove 4 hours to see what was done. I called the shop and asked the owner (Jeff) to come and see the terrible craftsmanship. He sent the installer who had nothing to say except he pt the windows in and he crew did the finish work..What finish work???? One of the seven windows installed is so hard to open my elderly father can't budge it. Phone calls are unreturned and emails come back. Pictures will substantiate my claims. read more

I had five fairly large sliding door screens redone. On the plus side, Jeff was prompt in picking them up and returning them. On the minus side. During my initial conversation with Donna and Jeff, I asked if the price included delivery, installation and a "tune up of the" door frames and wheels. They said yes it did. Upon delivery and installation one screen was so terribly discolored it had to be removed and repaired which was done. Two screens had problems with the rollers as if they were never looked at or tested. Jeff was able to adjust one to work properly but not the second. He acted surprised when he was walking out the door when I said he needed to fix it. Both screens worked before he picked them up. His response was "Oh you want me to fix it?" I said yes so he worked on it for about 20 min. but could not get it to ever work right. His answer was to say there was nothing he could do about it and walked out the door, leaving me with an unfinished job. I had the feeling he was irritated that I wasn't going to fix it myself. All I expected was for the screens to work as they did when he picked them up. I try to hire locally but I won't be using Poly Pro again. Do not accept an unfinished job and inspect their work. read more

We went into their store front to talk to them regarding retractable screens. After a lengthy discussion with the owner's wife we were told that Jeff (the owner) was sick and would stop by later in the week to give us a quote. Fast forward 2 weeks after we stopped in the store front. We called them and was told that now Jeff was out of town and would stop by when he returned. Fast forward 2 more weeks, no Jeff or any word from Polypro. We at least got them to set up an appointment to come to give us a quote. Weeks later I get a phone call saying that they had our screens and were ready to install them. I told them that we never ordered them and in fact we never received a quote! The next day they had the audacity to come to our home to install them! We sent them away and told them that we never received a quote, therefore we NEVER ordered them. He told us that he would have never come over to measure if it was just for a quote. In the last 2 days the owner, Jeff, has called us and has tried every way he can to bully us into buying them. Again, we told him that we always get 2 quotes when ever we do business. He ended up getting belligerent. Unbelievable! read more

This review is specifically for Jim and the KeTu Screen section of Poly Pro. We attended the Spring Home Show in SLO and met Jim. We have been interested in screens for our home as we run a childcare/preschool out of our home and have been through many standard screens over the years. The KeTu screens seemed like they would be perfect for our needs. Jim called me back within 2 days and set an appointment. He was timely and gave me an acceptable price. We had a delay in installment, as they took longer to come in than expected, but once they came in, Jim came and installed them that week. He was efficient, worked around my childcare nap schedule and had great customer service skills. He followed up with us a couple months later to be sure that everything was going well and even tightened up some cables. I have been pleased and will be calling them in the spring to do my kitchen window. Thanks Jim. read more

Buyer be ware!!! I'm extremely dissatisfied with the customer service business practices and ethical behavior I encountered at Poly Pro windows and doors. If it was possible to give negative Stars I would. I received two bids, from poly pro one for Windows one for Doors. I notified Jeff at polypro that I intended only to order windows from them. I received an invoice and PAID that invoice for the windows only. I was given a time frame of three weeks. I was notified 7 weeks later from the supplier that my windows were being delivered. On the day of delivery 15 minutes prior to the windows arriving I received a phone call from Jeff demanding a check. I was perplexed by this phone call since I had not spoken to Jeff in 7 weeks and had paid for my windows. I told him I was at work  but would be happy to pay any shipping charges once the delivery was verified to be undamaged and fully correct. Jeff at poly pro took it upon himself to order the doors that I never okayed and never signed a contract for, and then demanded that I pay for doors I did not order, did not have delivered and were not in possession of. He went on to my property without permission went through my locked gate and stole the windows that I had already paid for. He then informed me that he will be holding my windows hostage until I pay him in full for doors I never ordered. I was told They took the payment I sent for the windows, and Applied it as a "deposit" for both the  windows and the doors, however the invoice that was sent to me on the day of delivery clearly shows the full amount paid to them applied to only the window invoice. When asked to provide a signed contract for the doors they can not, because it does not exist. They also cannot provide any documentation that any money was given to them as a deposit for the doors. Yeah..that crazy! I have an invoice for Windows from polypro and a cashed check from poly Pro, for the windows. During the delay in which I was waiting for my window delivery I uncovered that the bid I received for the doors was thousands of dollars more then the cost of the doors. That showed me they up charge exponentially on the items they sell, it makes me wonder how much more I ended up paying for Windows. I Have repeatedly contacted them asking them to return the materials I paid for, they refuse to return any of my materials until I pay for the doors I told them I do NOT WANT! I asked for a refund and was told they do not give refunds. Any company that holds paid for material and refuses a refund is a RED FLAG! They work with general contractors in order to  cover up how much they up charge. Luckily this evidence and information is being handled Now by my attorney and the sheriff department. BEware of this company!! and their practices!. They're Crooks and become extremely aggressive and will verbally personally attack you when you call them out on it. I have read the responses they give on the other poor Yelp reviews, it is not a coincidence that I'm not the only one who was bullied into paying on a bid that I did not order. no accountability! And no customer service to those who feel that they have been cheated! They basically call people liers, for voicing there experiences. Jeff will also go on to your property and steal items you paid for, In order to force you in to buying what they think you should. Do your research! You're much better off working with Lowe's Home Depot or a trustworthy dealer. read more

This place could care less if they have your business. I got the runaround from day one. First they said they'd send someone to my house to repair my screen the same day I called. I overheard Debbie ask someone in the office if he had the time to go out. Well, yes he did. So, I waited. Didn't leave the house all day, waiting. They didn't show up, didn't call. I thought for sure they'd call the next day, apologizing. Nope. I had other matters to attend to, so over a week later, I phoned to inquire why no one showed up or called that day. They didn't know what I was talking about. The woman who answered this time said they don't make home calls. Really? She was going to check into the problem & call me back. She didn't. So, I put it in the back of my truck & took it in. The place was empty, except for the repair man. Fine. He said it would be ready in a day or two. Another week passed! I phoned, but Debbie didn't know what I was talking about. Was it there for a re-screening? No, it was there for rollers. She said she had a screen with my name on it, but it may be the wrong screen. She was going to check & call me back. Didn't call. How long could that take? So, I drove over there to pick up my screen, repaired or not. This is now three weeks after my initial call. I was tired of fooling with these yahoos. So, there is was, leaning against the wall with my name on it, repaired. I tried to tell the owner about the lack of communication & the problems I'd encountered, but while I was talking, he stood up & walked out the door. Okay. So, I walked into the back room & there was my screen with my name on it with two new rollers, leaning against the wall. I wonder how long it was going to stay there. They seem to be nice people, but completely disorganized & really don't care about their customers at all. Go someplace else. Not worth the frustration & hassle. And if you want it done in a timely manner, forget about it. read more
