We had a kitchen remodel in 2021 and our contractor referred us to Morro Bay Cabinets. We had a good experience then and been happy with the cabinets ever since. Recently one of the soft close mechanisms stopped working and not sure what to do I called the shop for direction, fully expecting that they would tell me there is nothing they would do. Instead, they set up an appointment to look at the issue. Long story short Steve came out and looked at the issue, returned on a later appointment with the right part and installed it, not charge. I was so impressed that 5 years after the installation they would come out and look at an issue. A lot of places can make a good product, but customer service after the sale, even 5 years later, is the backbone of any product, especially Morro Bay Cabinet products. read more

We selected MB Cabinets to replace all our cabinet fronts and drawers. They also made pull out drawers in some of the cabinets, new cutting boards. Steve one of the owners was fantastic, very helpful and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Edgar and Adrian were the installers, very courteous and cleaned up. They found a couple of drawer fronts and said they were too short. MB Cabinets, Doug, remade them and someone drove them to our house. I thought their pricing was very reasonable. my experience with morro bay cabinets was nothing but horrible. they did a terrible job on the cabinets. the cabinets fell off the wall. the lazy susan was installed incorrectly and fell out of the cabinets. they had to come to the residence six times to adjust the cabinets. the wife purchase a expensive farm sink and they messed up the configurations for the sink and they had the nerve to tell me that i should have given then the dimensions. they had the sink in their facility and finally they admitted that they did not know about the sink being on site. the time table was over three months of constant screw ups and they did not have the measurements correctly for the section of the wall that housed the floor to ceiling refridge. i only know that the only time i was happy with this company was when they left and i knew i would never do business with this company again. even the woman that was supposed to be a designer was nothing more than a clerk at the company and she reported to the wife that she had years of designing kitchens. i think a six year old would have done a better job. NO I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY AND I WOULD NOT LET THEM REFURBISH MY DOG HOUSE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. STEVE IS AWESOME! The reverse osmosis system under my kitchen sink leaked. It ruined the inside of my cabinets (and my floors). If you had 10 stars, I would give them that. We have built both a house and guest cottage, using their cabinets and installers. The cabinets are terrific, they are very knowledgeable about kitchen planning and installation, and their customer service is the best I have experienced - EVER. Even though we built our house in 1999, they have repaired glitches, large and small (many our fault, I believe, like putting too heavy of items in the cabinet drawers, then replacing the cabinet runners at no charge YEARS later).
