Brandon and Ryan, the project manager were fantastic in responding promptly to all text messages and phone calls from both the and myself. Once approved by insurance, the work began earlier than scheduled & was completed in eight weeks! I would definitely recommend SCI for any construction needs a person may have.

Yes, yes, yes, SCI -Simons Construction Co is hands down the best construction Co. I have worked…read morewith in all the 45 years I have lived in Atascadero! I contacted them because all their reviews were so positive. I have a 3,200 Sq ft attic that has been a hotel to my numerous feral cats/kittens and a few opossums and raccoons for 15 yrs now! They destroyed all the insulation and the heating/air ducting You ask how did this happen, well if you have ever dealt with a large group of feral cats that breed like rabbits, it becomes overwhelming very quickly especially when you don't even know they are up there! Well, we are finally down to two cats living up there so we knew IT WAS TIME TO GET THE ATTIC CLEANED UP, NEW INSULATION AND DUCTING AND THEN CLOSE IT UP FINALLY! I called three contractors expecting them all to turn down the job and I couldn't blame them if they did! Fortunately, SCI - Simons Const was the first company I called. Ryan answered the phone and said he would be out the next da1y to look at it. He went up into the attic and when he came back down he said YES, they would do the job and he explained in full detail to me what they needed to do and how they were going to do it! He also sent me a detailed bid THAT NIGHT and explained a lot of things can come up once it's cleaned up like wiring and structural issues. Obviously these would be added costs but I was informed by Don, who was amazing and worked like a supervisor along with all the crew, every step of the way if they saw anything that was a concern! I could never say enough GOOD THINGS ABOUT DON!!! He always kept me informed what they were doing, when they would be here and he always made sure they were not interrupting my daily activities! He always kept Ryan in touch of what was going on and then Ryan would call or text me too to make sure I knew what was going on! I tell you, THESE GUYS ARE ON IT and SO EASY TO WORK WITH!!! They also had to keep in touch with my heating/air Co, the insulation Co and my roofers because they had to cut holes in my roof to take out all the old insulation and ducting so we could put in the new stuff! Ryan suggested putting together a group text with everyone's numbers so that EVERYONE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHEN, IT KEPT THE PROJECT RUNNING SMOOTHLY AND ON TIME The entire project only took 1 month but it felt like it was just a couple of weeks because everyone was so efficient and fortunately there were no unforseen issues I could go on forever about SCI - Simons Const, Ryan, Don and the wonderful crew but all you really need to know is THEY ARE THE BEST at least from my experience in every way!!! So easy to work with, honest reliable and they REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR WORK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF! They now are the only construction Co that I will use and MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE !!!! THANK YOU RYAN, DON AND THE REST OF THE AMAZING CREW!! You truly made something happen that I never thought was possible and it wouldn't have happened if it were not for SCI- SIMONS CONST!!! THANK YOU!!!

I strongly urge anyone who is looking at kitchen/bathroom design to purchase from Fergusons SLO. In 2025 from the advice of a contractor I purchased everything that was needed to furnish a to-be-built ADU. All kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, sinks, toiltets the lot. As 2025 passed and there was no permit, and no start date in sight, and on top of that the contractor was less than trust worthy I approached Fergusons to explain the problem: there was no ADU, there was no permit, certainly not in 2025. Fergusons without hesitation refunded me the total $ amount. We were floored. WHAT customer service, WHAT integrity, WHAT goodness walks the floor of this showroom and the management. Integrity is what permeats this business. No matter what future plans are considered there is NO WHERE in SLO county that would get our custom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Fergusons.

They finished a countertop replacement yesterday where we replaced old granite countertops with new quartzite. In addition to a change in stone, we also added some features like stone windowsills details, a stone backsplash and shelf behind the oven, and a waterfall edge on the peninsula. The process was ideal from start to finish. Ben was responsive and always very helpful. He listened to what we wanted and made suggestions and gave us options to get a finished product we are thrilled about. They went the extra mile to make our house livable between demo and installation. His team was friendly to my whole family (including the dog). We have worked with a handful of vendors during our remodel and Epic Stone stood out for the experience working with them and the finished product. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for stone work.

Granite, though, has the distinct quality of being dangerously heavy and somewhat delicate, so when the seam between granite pieces on my center island started to split, I knew i needed to call in a pro. The folks at Epic stone couldn't have been more professional. They gave me a no pressure quote over the phone and got me in within a week. I ended up having them fix the seam and drill a hole in the counter for a garbage disposal air switch. The gentleman they sent out had the rare combination of being extremely detail oriented and fun to talk to. He took his time blending different epoxy colors to make the new seam as unnoticeable as possible (and did a far better job than the builders did on the original seam). When he was done, he had me inspect his work and showed me everywhere the stone was slightly uneven around the seam (caused by house settling or original installation issues); fortunately they were very minor. He also offered to buff a corner of the slab that had chipped over the years free of charge. Like I said, I don't enjoy calling out for repair, but I wouldn't hesitate to have epic stone back the next time I need something.
