We recently had an experience with Kody at Atascadero Cabinets, he built walk in closet cabinets…read morefor us, a shoe wardrobe, floating shelf and some other odds and ends. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by the lack of accountability and consistent blame-shifting behavior exhibited throughout the interaction. Despite encountering challenges during the project, Kody failed to take ownership of the issues arising and frequently shifted blame onto others or external circumstances. In addition to all of this Kody was degrading towards my wife, constantly talking over her, raising his voice, and dismissing her opinions as they did not matter. On top of that he said he was going out of business and not going to finish other work needing to be done. All of the issues we had could have been very easily addressed by taking the time to listen to concerns we had with the craftsmanship / time frames and come with a solution rather than a bag of excuses. Quality of work was 8 out of 10 but the customer service is a 1 out of of 10.

We removed a massive, outdated built-in cabinet from our new home's living room, and were…read moredisappointed to learn that there was no flooring underneath it. Jason spent a lot of time with us to present options and samples to replace the room's carpet- when we eventually decided to cover the area with leftover pieces of hardwood the home's previous owner had left for us (as a more budget friendly fix), he did an excellent job for us. He was also able to schedule the work quickly so we weren't left with an exposed subfloor for long. We're really happy with the results, and will contact Jason the next time we are able to update flooring in other rooms.

He is the best in the business, hands down! As an owner of several investment properties, I've done business with several dozen contractors in just about every specialty. So I've a decent basis for the quality of work and customer service to expect-Mr. Rogall exceeded my expectations in every aspect and he has set the bar for flooring contractors. Specifically, he is very thorough, honest and considers the customer's interest his highest priority. And the quality of his work is far superior to what I've experienced in the past. Make no mistake about it, you will not regret your decision to contract with Mr. Rogall and if you're anything like me, you too will climb a mountain to proclaim the superior quality of his work and customer service!

I hired Ken's Furniture Refinishing to repair and refinish my 40-year-old Drexel bedroom set that…read morewas showing its age. It had plenty of wear from everyday use, and had been significantly damaged during my most recent move. His work was SUPERB. Yes, it was very expensive. Yes, it took months to be finished. Ken was up-front about the time and cost involved. I knew going in that this wasn't going to be fast or cheap, but given the value and beauty of the furniture, it was worth it. He quoted me a price, took a 50% deposit, and there were no surprises along the way. He collected the furniture in August; it was promised by Christmas; I got it back in time for Thanksgiving. When Ken and his son delivered my furniture, his work exceeded my expectations. My bedroom set looks every bit as good, if not better, than it did when it was brand new. When they delivered, they even helped me move some of the heavy furniture around in my new house, which they certainly didn't have to do, but was very much appreciated. I am absolutely delighted with the work. I didn't expect to get perfect furniture back, given the age and the extent of some of the damage. All the scratches are gone, and the places where wood had been chipped and splintered during the move are invisible. If you have cheapie furniture that needs a quickie repair, it's probably not worth your time and money to hire Ken to do it. If you have fine furniture that is irreplaceable, he's well worth your patience and cash.

Chester communicated clearly and appropriately throughout the process, always discussing costs beforehand and never exceeding the budget. When I hit a major snag with the custom shelves I had hauled all the way from Bakersfield--only to find out they wouldn't work (thanks to the original contractor)--Chester stepped up.
