The only reason we cannot rate 5 stars: One necessary component was never addressed when ordering (shower 90), and 3 in stock items were significantly late shipping, which was an inconvenient delay for our construction crew. Stopped in for a quote for a new top rated Consumer Reports LG washer and dryer. The quotation was for $4,238.59. This seemed rather high. Next, I went to Home Depot with low expectations. For the same models including delivery and installation and new hoses and venting, and pedestals the price was $2,679.43! The difference was $1,559.16! These were NOT a floor models. Sealed LG boxes! If the pricing difference was a couple of hundred dollars I would have made a case for using Ferguson's. But, I can't! read more

I ordered a fridge in November. Ferguson kept saying it would be in stock in 2 weeks every time I would check the status. I finally got it delivered in March. Delivery day was a nightmare! They said delivery would be at 9am. I emptied my old fridge in prep. The new fridge didn't come until 7pm. I had to get new food! I do not recommend using them. read more

My contractor recommended that we go to Ferguson's for our appliances when we remodeled our kitchen. Phil Stone was our sales person. I told him what I wanted the appliances to do and he recommended appliances that fit those parameters. All the appliances were just what I wanted, except the kitchen faucet. The kitchen faucet company discontinued the faucet we ordered and sent a different one in it's place. Phil did his best to find another faucet that did the same thing, but no luck. He refunded the cost of the wrong faucet and paid a plumber to reinstall our old faucet which I chose to keep. I would recommend Ferguson's and Phil to anyone looking for appliances. read more

If you buy items from Ferguson and need help after the purchase, you are out of luck. I spent over $6,500 on a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and Thermador cook top in 2016. In November 2018, one of the grills lost a rubber feet. We called the number on the user guide for replacements for $18 on a 2-yr old cooktop, gave them the part number and Thermadora/Bosch sent the wrong feet. They want the serial number off the cooktop to send the right set! The number is under it somewhere and we would have to pay someone come out and lift the cooktop and reset it. I thought Ferguson's might be able to help me. I called and explained my problem to Mark n he said he would look into and call me back. Waited three hours and no call. Called him again and was told I should call their service number because they don't deal with repairs. In others words- we sell expensive high end appliances but you are on your own if something happens to them. Called service number and they don't have a record of our purchase so they can't provide assistance. And of course the salesman, Tim West, no longer works there. So now we are stuck. On top of that, the $3200 oven is giving us an error message on the oven probe, the microwave periodically displays a "close door" message and will not work. One of the reasons we went to Ferguson's was to get better quality appliances and good customer service. We are very disappointed with the service! You might as well buy at Best Buy or Home Depot - at least you don't pay $2200 for a cooktop that has pieces falling off. My husband and I worked with Laurie Ownen at Ferguson's last fall, while searching for new lighting, deep soak tub, "copper" fixtures, and sinks in order to complete a 300 SF spa style master bathroom. In the process, we decided to remodel a half bathroom in our home as well. Though it felt like a daunting task, Laurie's advice, professionalism, honesty and eye for detail was refreshingly helpful and greatly appreciated. She was also very patient. After the travertine and grainite were selected and fabricated, it was fun to install the finishing touches from Ferguson's in the bathrooms. All items arrived on time and exactly when Laurie said they would. It was such a good experience that we are now remodeling the kitchen. Once again it was time to go see Laurie and seek her advice . I rate her customer service a 10!! This store might be pricier than a DIY store, but the quality shows. It is nice to have a wide selection of items to choose from. I emailed the SLO store and ask to purchase a special order toilet. No response. I called and the male associate who answered the phone was very pessimistic about getting this toilet, I quote "its a month out before we can get it here". Hmm ok. So I call the Bakersfield showroom. They sourced it from the Stockton warehouse. It was delivered to the SLO store the following Tuesday. How did this associate not know the proper steps in order to make a sale? yet the Bakersfield store was extremely happy to land the sale. read more

This is a high end appliance and plumbing fixture store and they did not care a rats ass that we wandered around the store for a good fifteen minutes. Not once did someone say I will be with you in a few minutes, etc. For all they knew we wanted a complete new kitchen, so apparently they are so busy and making so much money our business was totally unimportant. Went to Ferguson's with the idea high end appliances woudl come with high end service. Our first experience with Lupe was great. She was very knowledgable with the products we were interested in. That meant a lot to us. After our first visit, we ordered, our Sub Zero frig, sub zero wine frig, wolf cook top, & sink. She explained how Wolf will come to our home to professionally install our new appliances, at no charge to us. Then we came back to add a faucet, garbage disposal, and a new double oven. That went ok. Then we needed a new washer/dryer right away. She took care of that. It came when she said, however, there we several miscommunications about what time the delivery would take place, and the parts needed etc. We started this whole process back on June 24, 2020. On July 21st we ordered our Monogram French Door double oven. About three weeks later, I discovered that our oven had been discountinued. After several phone calls and emails, to Lupe, she finally responded that yes, that was true and would I like to order the new model, and by the way, it is $150 more. Of course we wanted to order the new model and we were charged the difference. personally, I would never have asked my clients for more money, especially if I had dropped the ball. Its Oct 2, and no new oven in sight. To sum it up, the after the sale service is very poor. The coordination between the managerment, sales team, delivery and installation is poor. I was sent to this store by Kichler to get a replacement globe for one of their light fixtures as they do not sell direct. It was close to closing time and it was clear that all the employees were interested in was getting out the door. They asked if I had the part number, which I didn't. They then informed me that I would have to call Kichler to get the part number and once I had it they would order it for me. Huh? I'm doing all the work? If you like to be ignored or made to seem a nuisance, this is the place for you. I had worked with Phil at Fergusons twice before for remodels around 2005 and was very happy with his service. So when I needed all new kitchen appliances I went straight to him. He ended up costing us to pay more than $2500 more than we should have. First of all he didn't order our appliances before the prices went up. He gave us an excuse that he was waiting for us to call with our credit card number, when I had told him to make sure to call me as soon as he knew exactly what he was ordering to get my credit card number (he had to work with our contractor). So he finally got our credit card number but I told him the total amount was over our limit. He said that was no problem he would charge half now and half a month later. He ended us charging the second half 10 days later without notifying us (he knew we could have used another credit card), so the credit card company treated it as a cash advance and now we have high fees for that. All we got from him was an aw gee, I'm sorry. I have been recommending him and Fergusons to other people for the past 13 years. That is definitely going to stop now. read more
