Then we called Justin Plumbing, and the experience was completely different. Their consultation was free, and Justin and his crew found the leak almost immediately. They clearly explained the problem, walked us through all of our repair options, and showed us exactly what needed to be done. The repair was extensive, requiring concrete to be cut and removed before fixing the broken main water line, but they handled everything efficiently and professionally. To top it off, their quote was nearly half the price of the first company, and they completed the work much faster than we expected. Throughout the entire process, Justin and his team were honest, knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly professional. Very Disappointing Experience with Total Plumbing…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Total Plumbing. They came out twice to address a plugged toilet and bathtub, and after spending approximately $1,500, the problem was still not fixed. To make matters worse, they recommended an additional service to remove calcium buildup for an extra $1,200. Fortunately, I decided to have another plumbing company take a look before agreeing to spend even more money. The second company did find some calcium buildup, but not nearly enough to justify the expensive service Total Plumbing recommended. Even more concerning, they couldn't guarantee that this additional service would actually fix the problem. It is incredibly frustrating to spend that kind of money and still have the same problem, only to be advised to spend another $1,200 on a service with no assurance it would work. I had to seek a second opinion because the issue remained unresolved despite two visits and a substantial bill. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected from a professional plumbing company. Customers deserve honest recommendations, clear answers, and problems that are actually resolved--not repeated visits, mounting costs, and expensive services that may not even solve the issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Total Plumbing.

I had an active uncontrollable leak, and the provider that the home warranty company contracted with was a non responsive zero on my problem. After they didn't respond and the home warranty company threw up their hands, telling me I had to wait until the contracted provider (All Systems Plumbing, you can see the review I left for them if you look at my other reviews) made his report to the warranty company. When it was obvious I was on my own, I made an after hours call to Zierman and explained a little about what was going on and asked for the rates etc. she put me in touch with Chico, who was on call that weekend. Chico called me right back and I explained the issue, and Chico passed on his thoughts about what I was in for, noting that he would have to take a look at what was happening to really nail down the issue. I thanked him for his candor and said I would call back to "pull the trigger" should the warranty company completely fail me. Chico gave me a follow up call the following morning, I told him I was still waiting on the warranty company but I would get back as soon as I knew something. Chico offered to call later in the afternoon to see what was up. By the time he had called in the afternoon, I was done with the warranty company and ready to move forward with paying out of pocket. Chico said he would come the following morning, (Sunday) to see what was what. Within five minutes of Chico getting here on Sunday, he correctly diagnosed that my hot water supply line to the house was the culprit and made his way under the house to see where it was leaking. Chico quickly found that a CPVC "TEE" had split and was the cause of the leak. He then related that he did not have the similar glue in fittings but did have the more expensive "Shark bite" push lock fitting that he could use to get it fixed today. I asked him what he thought would be the best for the situation and he recommended waiting until the following day and use the glue in fittings that are similar to the existing fittings. Since we could shut off the water supply, that was what we did. Chico let me know he had a couple of jobs in the AM, but would be out in the afternoon, and get the leak fixed. Sure enough, Chico called early afternoon to let me know he was on his way. When he got here, he got right to it, and within the hour he had the bad joint cut out and the replacement installed. Another way that Chico went the extra mile was he called me the following morning to ask how things were and make sure that the issue was solved. Chico was very professional and very communicative which, as a homeowner with a problem was key to putting me at ease and let me know that he appreciated my business. He of course knew of my problem with the home warranty provider and was keen on keeping me in the loop. I have used Zierman in the past for other projects at the home and will continue to use Zierman plumbing and tell anyone I know who needs a plumbing professional to give Zierman a call first. These guys are professional, attentive, and are not out to sell you the most expensive repair. Thanks Chico for helping me out when our warranty company failed us at the worst time possible.

Chris and his assistant arrived promptly and were very friendly - but also very professional and ready to investigate the blockage. Chris did some tests and determined soon enough that the problem was in the toilet plumbing and not a more widespread problem. Lucky for us. They worked fast, ran quite some cable through our system and were able to identify that the pipe was being invaded by roots of trees in the yard, causing the backup. He was able to drill and remove the main blockage. Unfortunately the problem will probably come back as the roots continue growing. Overall, Chris was super knowledgeable, is very much a problem solver, and was honest about the cost all along the way. Pricing was fair and the job was done as thoroughly as possible.
