I strongly urge anyone who is looking at kitchen/bathroom design to purchase from Fergusons SLO. In 2025 from the advice of a contractor I purchased everything that was needed to furnish a to-be-built ADU. All kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, sinks, toiltets the lot. As 2025 passed and there was no permit, and no start date in sight, and on top of that the contractor was less than trust worthy I approached Fergusons to explain the problem: there was no ADU, there was no permit, certainly not in 2025. Fergusons without hesitation refunded me the total $ amount. We were floored. WHAT customer service, WHAT integrity, WHAT goodness walks the floor of this showroom and the management. Integrity is what permeats this business. No matter what future plans are considered there is NO WHERE in SLO county that would get our custom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Fergusons.

Cabinets from Wood Mode came in on time, delivery was smooth and so was installation by one of the best installers in the area. Thanks John! Dealing with people who are fair, honest and know their area of expertise is a win, win! Also Wood Mode provides one of the most beautiful custom-made cabinets in the US. Thank you thank you and thank you!

We have been working on a design for our kitchen with Chris at Cucina. It has been such a pleasure,…read morehe has given us detailed drawings and the presentation is fabulous. I have been impressed by his patience and the amount of time he has spent with us to "get it right". I am looking forward to working with him throughout the process of remodeling our kitchen. I would recommend him without hesitation.

She got the job done with the highest level of quality in an efficient manner. She is very knowledgeable and had a lot of great design ideas which was very needed because I lacked the vision to create a great looking kitchen. The standard joke about me, is that the most domestic thing about me as I live in a house. I do not care for cooking so the kitchen has never been my favorite room in the house. I can honestly say, I love my kitchen now and I think that speaks volumes to the great job Cindy did and how beautifully my kitchen was laid out. When I do have to cook, my kitchen was designed so that everything is at my fingertips and I never have to go hunting for anything anymore. Cindy was very thoughtful about my needs and preference in the initial design. I never knew what I wanted in a new kitchen, I only knew what I hated in my old kitchen and she was able to rectify all of those problems in her new design. She was also very patient with all my additional questions and comments, which I feel were a lot... Every time when I asked more questions or appeared not sure about an idea, she would do more research and find more alternatives for me to review and evaluate. The entire process was better than I could ever have expected. I would definitely recommend Cindy from Cucina to anyone looking to do a kitchen or bathroom remodel and I will most certainly use them again for my next project!

I just have to share how kind and helpful Erika was when I walked in this week - two days in a row…read more- and asked her for some advice regarding a budget remodel of a bathroom that we are putting together ourselves, and, as I explained to her, ordering materials from discount big box retailers and on line. She had nothing to gain, although of course now I would get a bid from her first If we ever have a room remodeled in the future. I am sure Erika might not always have time to be as helpful to everyone just seeking ideas and advice as she was to me on these two visits, but I really appreciated her generously sharing her expertise. When I read on line there was a problem with her attitude I was totally surprised, but I did notice both times were several years ago. Maybe she or the writers were under some stress back then, or maybe she's changed. I think she'd be fantastic to work with. So my tip is to give her a chance and see for yourself what she's like. She could not have been nicer, the displays there are gorgeous, and her excellent ideas and advice saved me money.

Kitchen & Bath Works, subsidiary of Luhr Design and Construction, Morro Bay, formerly of San Luis…read moreObispo, did our 2019 kitchen remodel. Something went OK and overall the kitchen looks good. However, we experienced issues. Some during construction, three following completion. Two new cabinets were built, the sink and all appliances (except the dishwasher were replaced) and granite countertops and backsplash were installed. The new refrigerator K & B specified was built in. However, when the "Change filter light" came on we discovered that we had no simple way to shut off the incoming water to make the change. I contacted K & B, and their response was: "Go outside, turn the water off, open your faucets, remove and reinstall the filter, go back out and turn the household water back on." Refrigerator exist that have a water turn off at the front of the unit. All of the existing cabinet doors were removed during construction and replaced at the end of the remodel. Prior to the remodel, all the cabinet doors closed correctly. After replacement, one upper cabinet door would not close all the way. I pointed the issue out on the remodel completion. Following, I emailed and phone Gerry Luhr multiple times, and was finally able to talk with him. Gerry told me the door closure was not his problem. To "hire a handy man". He would said he would have to charge us $500 or more to adjust the door. I hired another person and that person adjusted the door so it would close as it should, within less than a half hour and at a cost of $60. The new faucet nozzle became stuck on spray and would not release to the normal stream flow. I both emailed and phoned Gerry multiple times asking where the faucet was purchase, the source name and phone number, along with the name and model of the faucet. I never received an email nor a return phone call from Kitchen & Bath Works nor Luhr Design and Construction, after several attempts to contact them.
