My new Hunter Douglas blinds are absolutely lovely and so easy to operate (no more tangly cords to fight with!). I went outside my comfort zone (the usual white) in choosing a color for my living room blinds and decided on a dark grained mahogany, which is stunning. The owner Brandon was knowledgeable, patient and kind, great to work with. Highly recommended! read more

Brandon was super helpful as I was deciding on window coverings. His team was responsive and friendly throughout the process.

By far the smoothest process in our entire whole home renovation. The owner came to our house on time and made the selection process for blinds and shutters so easy. Their prices were competitive and they kept me up to date throughout the entire process. I high recommend WindowWear and their products. We couldn't be happier with our automated screens and custom shutters. When I'm done installing my new entry doors, I'll be contacting them for our needs. read more

Absolutely painless! Brandon was knowledgable, patient, kind and did not attempt to use any kind of "sales pitch" to lead us to buy. It was a pleasure working with him and we are grateful, both for the stress free experience as well as the incredible quality and beauty of our new shades. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We had no idea what to expect in regard to pricing and were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. We are happy to give our highest recommendation to any who are looking for new window coverings. read more

WindowWear has installed shutters in our bedrooms and office and also installed motorized solar shades in the living room of our new home. Brandon and Daniel are wonderful to work with. We are extremely pleased with the product and installation. They stand behind their product and are timely in coming out to make any adjustments if needed. The price was very competitive also. We would not hesitate to use them again on any other window covering needs and would highly recommend them to others! Stuart & HaeJa C read more

I love my new cellular blinds! Brandon and Geo were great to work with. They were on time and did a professional job installing blinds in my kitchen and living room. The motorized blind in my living room is amazing...it's sooo quiet and I love being able to program it to raise or lower. I would highly recommend the folks at Window Wear! Their customer service and workmanship are both superior. read more

I had the best experience with Brandon and his team! They were efficient, beautiful and quality shades. They had so many options for me to choose from. They installed them in a single day and the price point was Incredible. I would highly recommend them for any sort of window project you have. The best! read more

WindowWear is great! I have worked with them now at least 4-5 times both at my home and my office over the past 5 years. Initially I met the original owner, Gary, and most recently his sons who have taken over the business. They have all been incredibly responsive and helpful - often getting out for a quote within a day or two of me contacting them and installing within a few weeks! Their pricing is reasonable and they have a great selection of products. We tend to like streamlined, modern blinds with motorized "smart" controls. Recently we have installed several sets of Rollease Acmeda blinds and have been thrilled with their consistent and quiet operation. We actually like them much better than the more expensive Hunter Douglas PowerView blinds we have previously used. The quote and install process was super efficient and very easy. Definitely will continue to use these guys for any future blind needs! read more

I am an electrical contractor and recently worked with Window Wear on a high end custom residential project. Coordinating the needs of the powered and controlled roller shades is frequently a painful and difficult process, but my experience with window wear was so easy. They knew exactly what I needed to know and coordinated perfectly. Both Dan and his mustache were a pleasure to work with. read more

I've used Window Wear three or four times now. Friendly, professional and efficient. They order what you want, measure and install. The items arrive when they said they would and the installers install, when they said they would. Pretty easy to do business with them. read more

We recently purchased all new roller shades for our home through Window Wear and we are very happy with the results! Brandon came out to our house twice to help us decide on what shades might work best in our home, sharing options and considerations we hadn't thought of. He patiently explained the various aspects of each of their products. Once we made our decision, Brandon worked us into their schedule so that the entire job was completed before our out-of-state houseguests arrived. Daniel was an expert installer, highly skilled, professional, and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to use Window Wear again in the future! read more

We needed shades for several windows at two different luxury rental homes. There were various issues with aesthetics, sun/heat and privacy. The owner spent quality time examining the needs of each room, made solid recommendations and gave us very reasonable pricing. We received detailed quotes and the owner responded promptly to any questions. Window Wear is professional, reliable and honorable. We highly recommend this business and hope to work with them again. read more

The guys who did the install were very friendly and got the job done quickly. Not just quickly, they were also accurate and worked efficiently together. Home Depot contracts with this company and I'm glad they do. Love to support a family owned company in the SLO county area. Thanks again Window Wear team! read more

WindowWear - Window shade install in less than 5 minutes! Looks great! - Shades & Blinds Near Me

Brandon, the owner, responded within minutes of my request for quote... on a Sunday! We had a really tight 3 week turnaround request on the installation date. He arranged for the site visit within days so we could make this deadline. I appreciate that he took the time to explain the differences between types of options (shades, blinds) and the price differential between options, so I can make an informed decision. His knowledge from working this family business over the years was clearly evident. Most importantly, to me, there was no "upselling" pressure at all. On the day of the installation, the lead installer Daniel was phenomenal! Prompt, courteous, professional and personable. Daniel de-installed the existing window treatments and even offered to help install the old shades that we were giving to our neighbor! Highly recommend. read more

Gary is AMAZING! I had problems with the motorized shades and the battery gave out. I couldn't believe it! He installed them in our Cambria home which we probably vacationed 4 times a year. Called Gary and he immediately came to pick it up and returned it back to the manufacturer. On our next visit, done and fixed. Just recently we had to call him again because the other motorized blinds behind the sofa won't go up. I texted Gary and GARY TO THE RESCUE. He FIXED it and DIDN'T charge us a dime for his time. This man is fantastic and ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SERVICE THAT I'VE EVER DEALT WITH. He's a one man show and gets the job done efficiently and painlessly! He's so honest and trustworthy!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! If you are needing blinds, shutters or roman shades this is the business that you would want to buy from because he GUARANTEES his WORK! HE VALUES HIS CUSTOMERS and he's HONEST! NEVER has he tried to charge me for frivolous charges. I'm so HAPPY that I found him through Yelp! If you are in the SLO county, call Gary, I promise you that he won't disappoint! read more

What a wonderful local business. I contacted a variety of blind/drapery companies....most did not answer the phone or return my call. I ended up with three that visited my house. One did not give me a written estimate after the visit, the next one did give me an estimate but I was not comfortable with her demeanor, the third one (WW-Brandon) talked with me about a couple of options for my 16' slider doors. Brandon is very knowledgeable in the window covering business since he is from a family that has handed this business down from grandfather to father to Brandon. I was very happy with my automated roller blinds hiding behind my decorative valence. Thank you to Brandon, scheduler and installer for a very good job. read more

I love this company. We originally worked with Gary, the owner, and, most recently, with his son Brandon, who is taking over the reigns. I know Brandon has trained extensively with his dad and is very knowledgeable but also has no hesitation consulting with his dad on situations he may not have encountered before. We have had three of the bedrooms, the kitchen and two living room windows done. They are professional and courteous. If they think your idea won't be in your best benefit or they have a better idea, they present their point with out making you feel stupid. I love their energy and passion. They are the ONLY company I will use for future window treatments. read more

Contracted through Lowe's. They set an appointment to come to our house for measurements...they wouldn't set an actual appointment time but rather "we'll be there Tuesday afternoon sometime". Okay, so we sat and waited and waited until 4:30-no show. We called them (they never even called) and he said "something came up but I can probably swing by tomorrow afternoon". Um no thanks. Not how you run a business. We'll take our business elsewhere. read more

WindowWear is Awesome! Brandon was responsive, professional, and an expert in his field! He provided a quote same day we met and his professional and courteous team installed 28 window coverings within a few weeks. They exceeded their quick timeline and are always available for any questions. I highly recommend WindowWear and we will continue to work with them on future projects! Thank you! read more

Window Wear came to my house, with samples, measured, and made great suggestions. We chose pull down cellular blinds for the kitchen to block light shining on the tv when we watch something during the day. And we chose corded shades for the bathroom because I wasn't sure I'd like the cellular. Turns out the cellular is better than I imagined they would be and the bathroom shade is textured and almost matched a cabinet we have in there. I am so happy with our choices. The installation was great too. The first thing that impressed me is they asked if I had a towel to put on the counter so they wouldn't leave dirty shoe prints. They left no mess and did a great job with the installation. They are very professional and personable. I highly recommend them! read more

Thank you to Brandon and Nathan for great service and price! I was tired of dealing with a few non-working blinds in my house, but as a renter I wasn't going to replace them. For WindowWear, I am guessing this tiny job was more of a nuisance than a money maker. But you wouldn't have known it from the level of attention I was given. Candid conversation about cost, helpful recommendations for taking care of the blinds, and friendly service through the whole experience. Really recommend this great, local business! read more

We were very pleased with every aspect of service from Window Wear. At the start Brandon came right over. He measured & presented options, while making smart suggestions for us. He was friendly, low key & very responsive to texts & emails. We got our shades in a timely manner, with the exception of one room out of the whole house. Brandon installed the shades fast & is a very pleasant person to work with. I would definitely recommend Window Wear for honest service & very nice product.
