Breakfast for lunch is always fun. Had their omelet and muffin - nice amount of food with 3 egg omelet -

I attended a lunch event that was planned with the restaurant in advance. I actually came here twice in one day. During the ladies luncheon, I believe there was 15 of us. Amanda our server was excellent! Patient and frequently came to see if we needed anything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice and cozy place, very family oriented. Plenty of room in between tables, it's nice to have the elbow room[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. For lunch I had the Burger on a Pretzel Bun with a side of fries ordered well done. They arrived perfectly, tasty and hot. I probably could have eaten the entire hamburger but I was busy catching up with friends. No dessert as we were off to our next event. But a few of us ladies returned to enjoy dinner after a class and shopping. For dinner our server was Raul. We was very helpful a bit more rushed but still able to check on us often. For dinner I ordered the meatloaf with mash potatoes and a side of veggies. It was very delicious, I liked the tomato topping of the meatloaf. It went well with the sides. I didn't order dessert after dinner but I did order a chicken pot pie to go as well as a Rhubarb pie ready to bake to go. I had the Chicken Pot Pie this evening and it was quite tasty along with the gravy it came with. I would definitely return if I'm ever in this area. Enjoyed Polly's very much!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's ok. I think the outside of the building is deceptively inviting, while the food itself is average.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I appreciate the large parking lot. The 15 to 20 minutes wait for a table wasn't great. I heard a man get upset when a couple was seated before him. At the podium you're asked "Do you want a booth or the first available seating?" Apparently, he had asked for the first available seating, but was skipped over nonetheless. Getting a menu, being given time to make your choices, and having your order taken all happen in a timely fashion. However, it's again another wait to have your food brought out to you. When the food finally came, it wasn't like "Oh, wow, that's a lot of food!" or "Oh, wow, that looks amazing!" It was just "Oh, good, the food is finally here." The portions themselves are decent, like it's enough to go home full, but not enough to really need a container for leftovers. I think it doesn't help that they put the food on huge plates that I think were meant for dinner, so it makes the amount of food you get look even smaller. The food tasted fine. Not great for vegans, though. For brunch, everything had some kind of animal product, like even the vegetarian options still come with eggs. I ordered the breakfast burrito without meat and ended up pouring hot sauce on top just to have some flavor. My sister let me have a few bites of her muffin, which I thought was free with the combo meal she had ordered, but apparently it wasn't and was charged an extra small fee. The strawberry sauce and thick butter it came with tasted good. Meanwhile, there were a lot of people there, so the waitresses were busy. When my sister ran out of water, no one checked in on us to ask if she wanted more or fill her glass up again. I just ended up pouring some of mine into hers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decorations consist mainly of curtains around the windows and some art with captions talking about how their fruit is freshly picked.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So between all the waiting and getting average size and tasting food, I wasn't impressed. Maybe lunch, dinner, and dessert are better?

Early Weekday Afternoon Visit Restaurant was not crowded. We were seated rather promptly. Staff were all friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was peaceful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I did not some menu item changes. All for the good. Several appealing specials. The prices were relatively consistent. Some increases, nothing substantial like many other food related establishments. Food was good. I did find myself still hungry after. One nuance was the portion size. Extremely small. " Pay more get less " appears to be everywhere sadly with the Economy. Could be all true, or just a reason to do so. I will not get into my personal thoughts. Waitress checked on us several times. Food arrived in an acceptable time frame. I recommend Will I go back? Maybe. Thank You for reading

Prime Rib Dinner - 8oz in front and 13oz in back
    Gladys P.

My son said the next time we have a free Friday evening, we're going to Polly's Pies! Made sure to get there after 4pm for the Prime Rib Dinner. I had the 8oz for $21.99 and he had the 13oz for $27.99. I took a picture of them together so you can compare the two. My son said next time he's just going to get the 8oz. We both loved them, seasoned just right. Comes with vegetables and smashed potatoes but I got the cole slaw in place of the potatoes. We got there early and as people came in, all I could hear people ordering was prime rib so I can imagine they might run out some nights! Only available Fri, Sat and Sun.

Ordered a lemon meringue pie yesterday, for Father's day. Cut a slice for me (today) and I see a little bit of an odd color so I take the pie off the crust and see this huge blue ish grey spot on the crust. Not sure if it's mold or blueberry but regardless it's not okay because if someone was allergic to blueberries it could've gone bad. I want to take it back and get my money back.

    Boysenberry heart shaped pastry. Yum!!

Hubby and I had a lovely dinner together. Jose V. was our fabulous and attentive server. Southern Pimento Cheese Dip is a must!! Delicious Grilled Sourdough Burger and Chicken Salad Sandwich.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]First time and it was probably one of the best "diner feeling" experiences I've had at a restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The customer service was top tier, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambience was dated (but very well maintained)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the food was worth every penny. I was craving breakfast for dinner. The portion was enough for leftovers, everything had flavor plus tasted natural/ fresh, and these were probably the best tasting pumpkin pancakes I've ever had. 3 1/2 stars is a major lie for this establishment IMO. Go and check them out, you won't be disappointed. I WILL BE RETURNING! (And s/o to my waiter Zac, you were great sir.)

Today at Bingo we celebrated Marcella's AKA "Grandma" 101st birthday. The staff members at Pollys in Norco were extremely helpful in making this a memorable event. Mona, the General Manager went above and beyond to ensure everything was spot on.

The chilaquiles were tasty, although I didn't eat the eggs (not a fan), but the sliders were enough for me just so I could get started on my bottomless mimosas! The service was great. The DJ was spinning, folks were dancing, you know once that liquor hit that's all we needed! Everybody was lively, sit outside smoke a cigar come on back in and slide It was truly fun. Good amount of tables, high tops, and bar seating. Service was pretty good, the girls were helpful and friendly throughout our time here. Food was a mixed bag: the chicken tenders were incredibly good, perfectly cooked, good sized, and juicy. The Asian zing and buffalo sauces on the side are BOMB as well and I'd highly recommend you get both on the side with whatever you order. The burger was just okay, nothing spectacular. The onion rings were good, but we got one in the batch that was undercooked and still had raw bread crumbs inside. Prices are decent. One thing I'll note is that they implement a $10 cover charge after 8PM for UFC fights. We got our table at 4:45PM and we're not notified of this until about 7:30, which I wish they were more transparent about up front. All in all, solid place to come watch sporting events with decent food and drinks.

When Tara and I were dating one of her favorite things to do was grab a meal at IHOP. Breakfasts,…read morelate night dinners, post-film treats--all were susceptible to being done at IHOP. It's because of this I got very familiar with Swedish Crepes or Pancakes, as some might call them. I don't know if they were ever my favorite style of pancakes but they were always an option on those rare occasions I wanted something with more fruit than blueberry. Tara always appreciated me making an effort to broaden my perspective on what a good pancake or crepe constituted. That being said, I hardly ever run into great Swedish crepes. Usually the butter or compote is sub-standard, and I usually feel like I should've gotten something different. Silver Dollar Pancake House makes some majestic Swedish crepes. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.
