Prior to this experience, Polly's Pies in Corona had always provided amazing food and great service, which is why this situation was especially disappointing. When I first arrived around 11:00 to 11:30 AM, there was already a long line of people waiting to get in. When we first entered, Host Valerie directed me to wait to the side and said the cashier would help me. The cashier was busy, so I continued waiting patiently. I then noticed there was a separate line on the far right for customers only purchasing pies. Since nobody was assisting that line either, I allowed an elderly woman waiting there to go ahead of me so she could purchase her pie first. By the time my purchase was finally processed, it was already 12:34 PM according to my receipt. After that, Manager Mona informed me that Viri, the cashier on the left side, would help me. Unfortunately, despite telling me she would help me "in one second," she repeatedly assisted other customers before me and allowed multiple people to cut ahead in line. The overall organization and customer service were extremely poor. When placing my order, I specifically informed the staff that my wife is vegetarian and asked that her pancakes not touch the eggs or sausage and that those items remain separated. After waiting a very long time, Viri returned and informed me that the kitchen had made a mistake and had to separate the food. Honestly, I do not even believe the meal was remade properly. The biggest issue came after we got home with our to go order. We discovered hair in the food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious health and safety concerns. Between the wait time, the confusion with ordering, the repeated customer service issues involving Host Valerie, Manager Mona, and Viri, and then finding hair in the food, the entire experience was extremely frustrating. From the time I arrived until the time I got back home, the process took roughly from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, which was over two hours for a to go order that still ended up having health and sanitation concerns. I understand restaurants can get busy, but poor organization, lack of communication, food handling mistakes, and finding hair in food is simply not acceptable, especially when dietary restrictions were clearly communicated from the beginning. read more

Food is horrible! Coffee is horrible, sent it back. Bacon was soggy and two pieces, but one piece was a little sliver off of another piece because it didn't even look like a piece of bacon. Supposedly plate came with two eggs but Im pretty sure two bites for two eggs doesnt make sense and the kids plate had more eggs with one egg. read more

I really wanted to love Polly's because the location is convenient and the menu has a lot of potential, but unfortunately my experience fell short. The food was just okay--nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. Portions were either very small or on very large plates. The flavors were pretty bland for the price. Service was friendly, but very slow, even though it wasn't that busy when we visited. We waited a long time for our order and had to ask for refills more than once. The front girl cashier "Jill" was so rude! Overall, it's not awful, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to. With better service and more consistent food quality, this place could be much better. Across the street is the original pancake house... there is a reason there was a line out the door there! read more

Ordered a lemon meringue pie yesterday, for Father's day. Cut a slice for me (today) and I see a little bit of an odd color so I take the pie off the crust and see this huge blue ish grey spot on the crust. Not sure if it's mold or blueberry but regardless it's not okay because if someone was allergic to blueberries it could've gone bad. I want to take it back and get my money back. read more

I attended a lunch event that was planned with the restaurant in advance. I actually came here twice in one day. During the ladies luncheon, I believe there was 15 of us. Amanda our server was excellent! Patient and frequently came to see if we needed anything. It's a nice and cozy place, very family oriented. Plenty of room in between tables, it's nice to have the elbow room. For lunch I had the Burger on a Pretzel Bun with a side of fries ordered well done. They arrived perfectly, tasty and hot. I probably could have eaten the entire hamburger but I was busy catching up with friends. No dessert as we were off to our next event. But a few of us ladies returned to enjoy dinner after a class and shopping. For dinner our server was Raul. We was very helpful a bit more rushed but still able to check on us often. For dinner I ordered the meatloaf with mash potatoes and a side of veggies. It was very delicious, I liked the tomato topping of the meatloaf. It went well with the sides. I didn't order dessert after dinner but I did order a chicken pot pie to go as well as a Rhubarb pie ready to bake to go. I had the Chicken Pot Pie this evening and it was quite tasty along with the gravy it came with. I would definitely return if I'm ever in this area. Enjoyed Polly's very much! read more

It's ok. I think the outside of the building is deceptively inviting, while the food itself is average. I appreciate the large parking lot. The 15 to 20 minutes wait for a table wasn't great. I heard a man get upset when a couple was seated before him. At the podium you're asked "Do you want a booth or the first available seating?" Apparently, he had asked for the first available seating, but was skipped over nonetheless. Getting a menu, being given time to make your choices, and having your order taken all happen in a timely fashion. However, it's again another wait to have your food brought out to you. When the food finally came, it wasn't like "Oh, wow, that's a lot of food!" or "Oh, wow, that looks amazing!" It was just "Oh, good, the food is finally here." The portions themselves are decent, like it's enough to go home full, but not enough to really need a container for leftovers. I think it doesn't help that they put the food on huge plates that I think were meant for dinner, so it makes the amount of food you get look even smaller. The food tasted fine. Not great for vegans, though. For brunch, everything had some kind of animal product, like even the vegetarian options still come with eggs. I ordered the breakfast burrito without meat and ended up pouring hot sauce on top just to have some flavor. My sister let me have a few bites of her muffin, which I thought was free with the combo meal she had ordered, but apparently it wasn't and was charged an extra small fee. The strawberry sauce and thick butter it came with tasted good. Meanwhile, there were a lot of people there, so the waitresses were busy. When my sister ran out of water, no one checked in on us to ask if she wanted more or fill her glass up again. I just ended up pouring some of mine into hers. The decorations consist mainly of curtains around the windows and some art with captions talking about how their fruit is freshly picked. Early Weekday Afternoon Visit Restaurant was not crowded. We were seated rather promptly. Staff were all friendly. Ambiance was peaceful I did not some menu item changes. All for the good. Several appealing specials. The prices were relatively consistent. Some increases, nothing substantial like many other food related establishments. Food was good. I did find myself still hungry after. One nuance was the portion size. Extremely small. " Pay more get less " appears to be everywhere sadly with the Economy. Could be all true, or just a reason to do so. I will not get into my personal thoughts. Waitress checked on us several times. Food arrived in an acceptable time frame. I recommend Will I go back? My son said the next time we have a free Friday evening, we're going to Polly's Pies! Made sure to get there after 4pm for the Prime Rib Dinner. I had the 8oz for $21.99 and he had the 13oz for $27.99. I took a picture of them together so you can compare the two. My son said next time he's just going to get the 8oz. We both loved them, seasoned just right. Comes with vegetables and smashed potatoes but I got the cole slaw in place of the potatoes. Polly's Pies has really gone downhill on a slippery slope! This is the third time I have gone in and have not been served! This last time was utterly frustrating. My BFF and I went in to celebrate our birthdays and we were shown a table, already knew what we wanted and set aside the menus and were promptly ignored. We were not greeted. We did not get in a drink order. She had coupons to use and we waited and waited. I finally flagged down a waitress and said that we had been sitting there for 25 minutes and would really like to order. Crickets. We just left. I complained to the waitress and she said to wait there while she got the manager... lol! We waited five minutes. Crickets. We left. I will just stop in to buy their wonderful pies from now on. I was jus calling to see if I can have my mothers birthday in June at this restaurant and the people who answered the phone was NOT friendly. Crystal kept me on hold for awhile and I finally called back and at least one girl called the manager, Mona, and even she's not friendly. First time and it was probably one of the best "diner feeling" experiences I've had at a restaurant. The customer service was top tier, ambience was dated (but very well maintained), and the food was worth every penny. I was craving breakfast for dinner. The portion was enough for leftovers, everything had flavor plus tasted natural/ fresh, and these were probably the best tasting pumpkin pancakes I've ever had. 3 1/2 stars is a major lie for this establishment IMO. So I went back to this location which years ago I said I would never go to because I had a craving for a chicken pot pie, and they used to be known for that. So I ordered the chicken pot pie plate. They should just call it a pot pie because there was only a couple shreds of chicken in there, plus their canned or frozen vegetables and lukewarm gravy. Waste of money for the tiny portion. Polly's was good back in the day, not so much now. Only thing on their menu worth anything are the burgers. But I can get burgers from a million other places. read more

So disappointed yesterday Thursday 10-16-25! We took our Grand-daughter to breakfast. Her special pancake came without the face of fruit on it! Our coffee was lukewarm and burnt tasting. Even the refills were lukewarm. My husband's eggs and sausage were lukewarm and undercooked and my hash browns were lukewarm and greasy. The bacon was really salty! I was actually surprised because there were only four tables with customers in them. So a grand total of 8-10 people in the entire restaurant? Also the women's bathroom was filthy and the water in the sinks did not work. Guess this branch must be having issues. Even though we live here in Norco, we won't be back, sadly! read more

The Day before Thanksgiving, probably wasn't the smartest idea to come here, because they do a big Business in their Pies. However we all decided to eat here. Many dishes were ordered, I had the salmon,wasn't bad a little taste. When you freeze something and then thaw it out, your going to lose the natural taste.Ice has to settle some where. fresh is always the way to go with all food. Service was a bit slow, Usually in the full service Restaurant, its about 11 guests to one server. Was a bit understaffed. Came in on a Friday at noon. Overall the food was delicious! I got the lunch meal deal pasta and added shrimp. This came with a salad and a cookie as well. Both portions were pretty large for it being a lunch special! However, our waitress was no where near attentive and when my party voiced concern over the long wait for our food, she did not seem to be happy with us and continued to give non-pleasant service. We understood it was busy at the time, but it seemed that there was no concern for our dissatisfaction at all. My family and I have been going to Pollys since 2007. Our two children have grown up going to Pollys every Saturday morning. Their fresh baked goods, yummy coffee and friendly service have always kept us coming back. In the last two years or so the quality of food has gone way down! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it came out greasy and soggy. I asked to take it back and instead just had one pancake because I was totally turned off by the burrito. The pancake was raw underneath as was my daughter's chocolate chip pancake. The only thing nowadays that keeps us coming back is the coffee and service from staff like Ana who has been at Polly's since day one. Polly's, you can do better. Stop changing management and make Polly's Norcos favorite breakfast spot again. Until you can retrain your chefs and improve on the quality of food, I will not be coming back. read more
