We were a large group on of 12 on a Saturday night about 7:00. Seated right away. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Restrooms were clean. Our waitress was gracious and we were allowed to have separate tickets. Fond childhood memories of Bob's Big Boy in Fresno many years ago spurred me to be excited about dining here. Unfortunately I am currently on a very restrictive diet for health reasons. So, I ordered a plain baked potato with butter on the side. Everyone else was ordering burgers and breakfast food. My baked potato looked like it had been baked on Friday and held in a warmer for 24+ hours. Very dry & unappetizing. I put a small amount of butter on it in hopes of it improving what promised to be a dry potato. There was no reviving this dried out potato. It should've been thrown out. But since it was the only thing on the menu that was on my diet, I ate it anyway. Everyone else was very pleased with their food. Our waitress was more than kind and was gracious and helpful, as were the other staff members who assisted. We had a good time and I definitely will return when I can eat a burger and fries. That being said, I hated to give 3 stars, but in all honesty I couldn't be dishonest. read more

Food was typical diner fare. We came for the nostalgia and Americana vibes! I've been to the oldest location in Burbank decades ago since that was where I grew up. I really liked their hot fudge sundae ice cream cake the most. So decadent and yummy! Perfect for summer. Chili cheese fries were good too. My breakfast plate was decent! Buttery hash browns. I loved my sausage links and crispy bacon. Their famous burger was ok. Not bad just ok--kinda like an overpriced Big Mac. Chili cheese fries were good, needed more chili! The garlic mayo was all right, I've had better. Everything was like $10 or $20 for entrees. Very overpriced for basic American food. I could get tastier pad thai for $15, and it would be amazing. But anywho, it's cute inside! They sell merch too. The big boy statue is everywhere, 2 out front with a cowboy hat and 2 inside! Free refills with various lemonade. No bueno on that desert pear flavor-- yuck. Also, the chairs and tables in this place were kinda icky. The upholstery was coming off, and I still sat on that chair. Things needed more cleaning. Pretty sure I saw a dead fly on the red diner couch. read more

This is our little family splurge as my boys love big boy and we love the nostalgia of it. The staff are all very personable and are on top of your food. We always had a full cup, and anything we need. Our orders vary but constantly we get the fried pickles. Doesn't matter what we are eating, they are that good! Overall: Excellent Food & Top-Notch Service! We stopped by Bob's Big Boy in Norco today around noon for lunch and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is classic Bob's Big Boy, complete with the iconic Bob statues greeting you both outside and inside the restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the host upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes. The host took our drink orders right away, and our server, Monique, took amazing care of us. Monique was so fun, bubbly, and full of great energy! She made us feel incredibly welcome from start to finish--we absolutely loved her and made sure to leave her a big tip for her fantastic service. For food, we started with an appetizer of onion rings. You get a HUGE basket, and they were delicious--very crispy and cooked to perfection. I ordered the classic Double Big Boy Burger with fries. The burger was excellent overall, though it could have used just a little bit more seasoning on the patty. Overall, it's a great place to eat anytime. Excellent food, wonderful nostalgic atmosphere, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back! read more

We hadn't been to a Bob's Big Boy in many years. Today we went with family and had a wonderful experience. We all had the "Famous Chili Size". It is a garlic bread, topped with a hamburger patty and covered with chili and cheese. It comes with another side of garlic toast which was very good. Then, you also get another side choice. The choices range from salads, french fries and a few other choices. I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty tasty. Everything was hot and came out pretty quickly. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. All staff we encountered were friendly. The main reason for the 5 stars was the service. Our server, Dakota was excellent. Fast friendly service, helpful with questions I had about the food. He checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. read more

My husband has been wanting to stop at Bob's Big Boy for a long time, so we finally pulled the trigger. Walking into the restaurant, I was reminded of days gone by. The ambiance was just what I needed. The big question for me was whether it would still be as good as I remembered from our high school ditch days. The answer was an astounding YES! Our waitress, Michelle, was kind and accommodating. The fries were hot and crispy, and my burger was perfectly cooked. I could only finish half, but to be fair, I ate most of the fries. My only real complaint is the $6 upcharge for the onion rings my husband substituted for his fries. But they were worth it. Would I go back? Absolutely YES. Nostalgic settings at Nob's Big Boy. They have a large dining room with large booths and a few tables available in the front. I was promptly greeted by Michelle who seem to be running a one man show as the hostess, server and cashier with a genuinely cheerful smile. The southern omelette was very fluffy but a little scarce on the sausage and hash brown filling but was fresh and still tasty. This is not the big boy that I remember the hamburger was just OK but the side salad was good. The service was excellent. The decor was excellent the prices I felt we're high for what you got. This owner has a lot of big boy statues, including one on top of the building. I like the western look to big boy and inside this place they do have ice cream shakes and pies if you want a big boy shirt they have a good selection and as I said before service was excellent. read more

We ordered the Bob's big boy cheeseburger with bacon combo and chicken fried steak that came with hashbrowns, eggs, and biscuit with gravy. which was all to our liking. We treat ourselves to the Classic restaurant I remember as a child growing up. Now we bring our grandchild. We always get the classic Big Boy Combo, so delicious as I remember as a kid. I can't give an unbiased review. I've loved Bob's Big Boy for 50 years and nothing has made me lose that obsession. Brought my Mom here (after 10 years) to visit the Norco location. It's the typical Bob's site with several Bob's statues and diner vibe inside. Luckily we had Michelle as our server who was a hilarious delight. Had the classic Bob's Big Boy Combo with salad. Salad with bleu cheese obviously. Salad was crispy fresh, with an abundance of cheese, croutons, tomatoes and chunks of cucumbers. It was a tad overdressed but their bleu cheese dressing is worth it. The burger came out fresh, hot and oozing with the best relish I've ever had. The bun was soft, burger patties were cooked to perfection, cheese was slightly melted, lettuce was abundant. Every bite is what I want my heaven to be. The fries were golden brown with deep fried outsides and soft middles, just like a good fry should be. Best part was dipping them in more decadent bleu cheese dressing!!!! As a surprise, we got a birthday hot fudge cake for my mom's birthday. This was soft and spongy, slathered in deep, rich hot fudge. The vanilla scoop wasn't the square pre-formed ice cream I remember, but was a nice complement and balanced the richness of the fudge. Several weeks ago, on a whim, we decided to go to Bob's Big Boy for lunch and we are really glad we did! The food was delicious and we enjoyed sharing a banana split for the 1st time in many years, it was just as good as it used to be! We met Monique, the best server we've had, she is friendly, bubbly, and makes sure you are happy with your meal. I really love their fish and chips and there was no problem substituting sweet potato fries for the regular fries, they are the best! Went to Bob's Big Boy for the first time the other week and I gotta say, this place has got to have the best burger I've ever had. When we first sat down we got to order pretty quickly, everyone there was quick and very kind! The first thing that came out was the Mozzarella Sticks and I can't lie these didn't quite taste as good as I thought, I never had bad mozzarella sticks but this one lacked a lot of cheese within the actually stick. So most of it was breading. The second thing I ordered was the Big Irish burger and that has got to be the r best burger ever, Im never really a big fan of restaurant burgers or even diner burgers but this one has changed my opinion further more, the perfect saucing, with the bun as well as the grilled patty was incredible! Went down nostalgic lane when visiting Bob's Big Boy in North Corona aka Norco. Location is right off the freeway in a strip center tha thas plenty of parking . Food was delicious, just look at my pictures. I don't think I finished everything, but everything was sooooo good. Been a long time since I had chili spaghetti but I was not disappointed. The Big Boy was great and their special sauce does the trick, nirvana. The service was friendly, quick and supplied a good laugh to bond our relationship. The decor inside is updated but still has the old school feel of what I grew up with. Stop in if your new, come revisit if you have been here before. As some of you know, I'm a huge fan of Cincinnati Chili, especially from Skyline Chili. I think it's the best regional dish in the country. Everything about is so damn delicious and quirky and comforting. But before I had chance to taste the real thing, I had a sneak preview eating Bob's Chili Spaghetti. While it lacks the more insidious nuances of the original, I think it more than makes up for it chutzpah. This chili is a thick boy and, like the originators, there is a ton of cheese in this beast. And I kind of love that. The Norco location did a great job bringing back my feelings of admiration for the dish as well as a sincere longing to get back to Skyline. The service was amazing and, while smaller than the Big Boys I grew up with, still has the Bob's quality of wholesomeness and retro vibes to it. I think this is going to be a stop whenever I get those chili spaghetti cravings. read more

Im so happy to give this 5 star review for the lovely hostess that seated and made out drinks. Had a lovely chat with LaVerne our server. I immediately fell in love with this bubbly youthful lady that was so kind to all of the customers. She gave this place a hometown feel. I enjoyed talking to her....the food was also so good. We usually have a good experience with our server Dakota, today however it was very surprising of the attitude he had towards us. We order a Caesar salad that had a lot of dressing, at first we did eat a little of it and most of the croutons, after a short while, I did bring it to his attention that it had too much dressing as the table next to us had salads that had less dressing and looked much more appetizing than ours. Wow, he gave us such a big attitude that me and my family just stood quiet as we were shocked of his attitude. We did not feel comfortable after that and left the salad there. But if nostalgia were a condiment, Bob's would bottle it and put it right next to the ketchup. This was the family spot growing up. We didn't even open the menu. Why would we? Big Boy Combo. Salad. Thousand Island dressing. Not because it was fancy. Because ranch hadn't hit its golden age yet, and my child self was out here making executive culinary decisions with confidence. Is the burger the best I've ever had? No. Is it delicious? Absolutely. Every bite tastes like my childhood--before taxes, deadlines, and my oat milk lattes. I get an extra side of that weirdly addictive relish they slap on the burger. When I take that first bite, I don't say "yum," I say, "Hello, old friend." Long live the Big Boy. And his combo.
