The bang for your buck you get here, is unbeatable. All the food is delicious. Don't plan to dine here unless you are comfortable in somewhat close quarters. We usually do takeout. Don't by any means skip the sweet plantains. They are really inexpensive when ordered with a mean, like $2 for a decent portion. They are also very tasty. I've eaten from this one and the Morristown location and both are very good. A whole chicken (they chop it up), and 2 large sides for $13. Can't beat the deal and the chicken is very good, way better than the chain supermarkets and boston market for that matter. Sides include white rice, fried plantains, some halved red potato dish, beans. So if you get beans and rice it counts as 2. On Fri and Sat they have some special things like a fried yellow rice ball with chicken (its was very good). I know they have chicharon on the weekends also, which are soooo good but soooo greasy.. maybe split it between a few people so you don't feel guilty. I don't think people realize how good this chicken is. It blows away all the peruvian and portuguese chicken spots. The only thing close might be johns dominican fried chicken in union city. Important things to know: the dover location uses charcoal which makes it even more awesome than it already is. They baste the chicken while it's rotating with some sort of garlicky marinade. I stil can't figure out what's in it after 5 years of eating it.its beyond cheap. It's good to call ahead. Cash only.
