Whole Chicken easily fed 4 people
    Alexandra B.

I've driven by this establishment countless times and never thought to stop in. Once my friend raved about it, I had to try it. She frequented the Dover location but I decided to try the Morristown location since it's closer. I called for the whole chicken combo and picked it up on my way to Shop Rite. My family enjoyed the chicken and sides. If you have gotten the Costco rotisserie, this is 100x better. The rice was nothing special but everyone enjoyed the beans. This is a great meal at an affordable price to feed up to 4 people. We had plenty with leftovers. This is fast food that's healthier than a lot of other options. I'm going to make this a regular stop and even try the Dover location. Give it a try! Parking is easy too.

    Best in town! Big fans!

Looooove the chicharrones!! (Chicken is delicious too btw) Moved to Texas been looking for same but none found even close to it! Whenever we visit our family in NJ we stop by to bring back to Texas!

The best chicken in morristown and among the best spanish restaurants ive eaten. Amazing seasoning and sauce!!! Recommend the whole chicken!! Prices are very very reasonable too!

    Deep flavorful birds.

Love this great find in Morristown! The chicken ("bird") is delicious and well-grilled while leaving the meat still moist and tasty. Love the papa rellenas (which is nothing short of a mouth-watering ball of blended flavors), complemented with plantain and papa guisada -- potatoes with chunks of tasty onion peppered around it. The arepas are slightly different from what we expected -- instead of more flavory Venezuelan version, these aren't much more than smallish bland corn discs (but they're not bad either). Everyone agrees that other than being delicious, the dishes are noticeably less oily, which is a big plus. What's also amazing is the generous portion and the very reasonable price (less than $25 fed 4 adults with leftover to take home). Great social distancing is enforced -- only one customer is allowed inside to place and pick up an order. Very friendly and prompt service-- meals are prepared and ready in less than 10 minutes at lunchtime on a Saturday!

Potato ball not really good. Sorry.

The potato ball threw me off. Like it's chicken scraps. Ew! This was disappointing I drove for food in the rain on my lunch break.

The seasoning and cook on the rotisserie chicken is incredible. They have a wonderful chicken soup made with potatoes, livers, gizzards and necks.

Just as good as their Dover location. Really enjoy the chicken, fries and beans. The chicharones was on the dry side but flavorful.

    So good

Psst.. hey.. this is my secret chicken spot. Rule#1 Dont tell anyone about chicken club. Last Sunday I walked in and ordered a bird to go, and my man was all like.. sorry, 45 minutes we sold out. NO JOKE. Chicken Place ran out of CHICKENS. So.. I order ahead now, because some finger lickin' schmuck did not follow rule #1. Birds be crazy good here. For $13.50 you get the whole thing, with your choice of 2 sides. Rice, or beans. Maduros, sweet plantains, fries or salad. The sauce on the side is good, not peruvian green sauce good, but a nice spicy fresh juice to dip your yummy in.

Plantains are delish, don't pay attention to my photo, I got too excited and ate before photos

Amazing Central American food (mainly Honduran and El Salvadorian)…read more 1) I got their hot food with beef patties with stew and rice with black beans. 2) The pork and cheese pupusas are amazing. This little homey Latin food spot felt like it came out of Queens NY and not a suburban NJ town. Service is pretty informal and the woman working when we went wasn't totally fluent in English, but she was so warm and we didn't have any hitches with ordering. We went on an off-hour on a weekday so they were apparently out of most of their entrees except for a selection at their hot bar, but the pupusas were still available and that's what I wanted anyway. I ordered a loroco and revuelta pupusa plus a baleada just because I hadn't tried one before. The pupusas were hot and fresh and absolutely perfect, crispy on the outside and oozing with cheese on the inside. They came with a little slaw/salad and a delicious red sauce that I liked so much the server got me a second bowl and I cleaned both up! The baleada was sort of like a quesadilla with beans and eggs rather than cheese in a flour tortilla, which was alright but the pupusas just blew it out of the water. I also had a bit of the bistec encebollada, which was tasty and tender and a super generous portion. The food was super affordable for the portions and quality, and they do accept credit card. Really happy we stumbled upon this place, and would recommend anyone coming through town or working in the nearby offices check this spot out!

I opted for the online order and it was ready just when it was promised. The entire order was packaged perfectly, and there were no issues when I opened it I ordered the steak quesadilla with onions and it was very good. It had a slight kick, but as someone who doesn't tolerate spiciness very well, it was just enough for me. I didn't know what to expect from the brussels sprouts but they were sweet and not spicy at all. A great side entree! Overall, a great visit to Tacoria. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back!"

Over the last several years, Morristown has seen an influx of several new casual and not-so-casual…read moreMexican and TexMex restaurants.. seemingly replacing the numerous frozen yogurt outlets that were the subject of an earlier culinary trend. Tacoria, which was one of the earliest participants in this recent trend, offers tasty, made-to-order TexMex cuisine in a trendy, fast-casual cafeteria-style ambiance. The cozy dining area, which is open to South Street when the weather is cooperative, only offers about a dozen tables for two or four diners, so it may be difficult to get seating during peak times. On several visits, we've had to stand around awkwardly holding our food while waiting for other diners to finish their meals and relinquish their table for us. After placing your order at the counter from the menu that allows you to build-your-own burritos, bowls, street tacos, salads, or nachos -- all of which is cooked to order -- grab a seat at one of the tables in the dining area and wait for your pager to buzz and let you know your meal is ready to be picked up. The service is very good with counterstaff that's very knowledgeable about the menu and terrific at making whatever accommodations a diner may require (vegetarian, lactose free, etc.). I'm a fan of the Burrito - Al Pastor ($12.50), comprised of ground marinated pork served with black beans, seasoned rice, and salsa in a grilled flour tortilla.. but I was surprised that my entree did not come with even a small portion of complimentary tortilla chips. My dining companion enjoyed her salad topped with marinated grilled chicken ($11), sliced avocado, black beans, pico de gallo, and cheese on a bed of romaine lettuce and topped with a pineapple lime dressing. There's a handful of complimentary homemade hot sauces - which range from mild verde to spicy habenero -- as well as several varieties of Cholula and Tabasco available (and small 'to go' containers if you're planning to dine elsewhere) if you want to kick things up a notch - and a Coca-Cola fountain machine offering unlimited refills of the basic Coca-Cola options (Coke, Diet Coke, etc.) if you've overdone it with the complimentary hot sauces. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Tacoria doesn't have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking on South Street. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, the Morristown Parking Authority DeHart Street garage (@ 13 Dehart Street) or lot (@ 12 Wilmot Street) are a short walk to Tacoria.
