We love trying different cuisines and cultured foods, but we decided to stick with what we know last night. Our culture of Latin/Colombian foods and flavors. I will first say, this place gets 2 stars from me. 2 for the food and 0 for the service. I am saying this because I do not agree with scamming the guest and trying to secretly work around the guest so we do not get over charged and items do not get added to the tables without consent. We went for a Birthday dinner, in which we payed a little to much, knowing we all wanted to order 1 lava cake at the end and secretly saying that 3 different parties from our table ordered 3 lava cakes all together and on top of all that added 1 more because they wanted to make our bill higher for the automatic gratuity. Yes, it's automatically added 15% to every table. In which that means no matter how you get treated you still have to pay a tip. Well, we have been in the customer service industry and have worked in many restaurants, we are probably 20-30% tippers, but when the service is terrible and stuff gets added to the bill with out consent, kind of makes you mad to pay someone for screwing you over. That's my rant. If you want food just as good and to pay a lot less for the same kind of plates, go to Trópico in Kissimmee only 10 mins away from this place or to La Estación in Kissimmee, only 20 mins away. Don't go to this place. It's not worth the amount you pay. Trust me. Tip, be specific on what you want. Order a margarita, don't let them add premium tequila ( if you don't want ) I am a bartender, margaritas don't need top shelf. Communication with the servers on specific orders, tell them you want 1 or 2 desserts, don't let them decide for you, they will add 2-3 if you don't specify how many you want on the table. If sharing a plate, make sure the other person does not order the same thing, they won't ask or anything, they will just add it to your check and once it hits the table you are paying for the dish. Watch for scam.

Reviewed by HEIDY G.

The food is great and so is the service only thing I didn't like is that this place doesn't really follow covid restrictions. There is no distancing as far as seating goes and did not notice the hostess clean tables in between customers. Besides that the prices are fair for the taste and portions. Great place to stop when visiting Orlando

Consome de pollo, chicken empanada, Colombiana

My husband and I checked out Pollos A La Braza Mario in a whim while traveling in the Orlando area. I ordered 1/4 rotisserie chicken and a chicken empanada and my hubby had grilled chicken breast. The grilled chicken breast had a little more flavor than the 1/4 chicken. Contrary to some places that include the service fee on the bill, our server was very friendly and attentive. We were pressed for time and we were able to get in and out in under 1 hour.

We really enjoyed Pollo a La Braza Mario! I saw it had mostly positive reviews and we see why! We ordered very different things and each enjoyed our dishes (I enjoyed a taste of everyone one's if I'm honest). My husband and daughter tend to be a bit picky and my husband said he could tell from the minute we walked in that it would be good. He enjoyed the arroz con pollo. He tends to like well seasoned meats and dishes in general. My daughter devoured the shrimp in garlic sauce (we had to ask her to slow down). I was super happy with the bandeja Mario. It was reminiscent of the bandeja típica I'm obsessed with from Tierra Columbiana in Philly. The mojitos were authentic and buy one get one free when we went! Can't beat that! Portions were great and so was the pricing; we went home with 3 boxes. Love that greens, rice and beans/fries were included. I really appreciated the effort they put in the aesthetics, the kitchen area was really pretty. I wanted to go with 5 starts but the bathroom wasn't very clean and our initial drink order wasn't correct. Very minor issues though, I would still highly recommend. The hostess and all around service was excellent!

This place really doesn't get many stars from me. They only have one item on their child's menu and they are charging upscale prices for a diner atmosphere. I asked for the daily specials to see what they specialize in and the host assumed I didn't have money and said all the cheap stuff is right here. That bothered me. Also I don't want to be rushed through my meal and treated without respect. I told the waitress I needed time to look over the menu and she still kept rushing us. I decided to just pay for our drinks and leave, I didn't like how it was going.

Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

My husband had the Peruvian shrimp with yellow rice, salad, and black beans. We were both raving about the taste while eating. They have a range of dishes from across Latin America, and lots of gluten free options. They aren't safe for celiacs though. They use a shared fryer. If you are super sensitive or have celiac, just beware of that. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in the theme parks area near Orlando. You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. If you want to avoid fast food but also don't feel like taking your kids to a proper sit down restaurant than this is a really great option.

For unbeatable pricing, the food we got as incredibly well-seasoned and well portioned. I recommend any of the ethnic dishes as my group tried about half of what was on display and they all tasted great. We ate two plates there and also took food to go. The oxtail was cooked exactly as it should be where the collagen is nice and chewy, with meat falling off the bone. All the meat we tried was moist and tender. For $4 you can get hefty empanadas and we tried and loved the chicken, beef and cheese filled ones. The tamale was also delicious. The food looked like it was made with wholesome ingredients and care. The cortadito was nice and strong - incredibly efficient for a small shot as we woke up after eating all that food. They serve a variety of drink flavors like guayabano and mamey. I got a mamey smoothie and enjoyed the creamy almost melon-like but novel flavor for me. For novelty, value, and delicious cultural cuisine, this place etched a core memory in that we paid more at whole foods and got more thrill from the flavorful experience at Papazzito Coffee Bar.
