TERRIBLE Customer Service and timeliness…read more I just left a bad experience with Katy at the Pink Rose Non-toxic Nail Salon in Bullard Texas. Prior to my appointment I received a text from Katy saying she was going to be 20 minutes late. I reluctantly agreed, knowing it would push my own commitments back. I arrived at the salon on time, for my original appointment time. Katy stated she would be with me in a "few minutes". 25 minutes later, I asked how much longer it was going to be. She stated 5 or so more minutes. Finally, she was done with her previous appointment who had arrived late, which was the reason my appointment was pushed back. This salon has a strict on-time policy for clients; If you are late, late cancel, or no show, they cancel your appointment and charge you half the fee. When I stated that respect goes both ways, and asked Katy why the same on time policy did not apply to service providers, she became defensive. She stated she had let me know she was running late, and asked if she should have cancelled my appointment. I replied that she should have applied their stated policy to her previous customer who was late. Katy completely disagreed with this, and then said my appointment was cancelled. I stated that I completely agreed, and left the salon. I will not return, and definitely do not recommend anyone else patronize The Pink Rose Non-toxic Nail Salon in Bullard, Texas, either.

They did a phenomenal job and my mani/pedi not only lasted through all of the wedding activities, the colors they helped me choose were absolutely perfect for the big day! So based just on location and no real recommendation, we decided to give it a try. Wow!! The customer service is top notch! They took good care of us, and sat us immediately. Yes... yes I know... Instill get looks when ladies see me sitting down getting a back massage in the chairs and a mean pedicure, but screw it, I say! It's actually more and more common these days, as it's great bonding time with my Queen AND I get my feet to looking and feeling better. Anyway, the place offers a type of calm and serenity, even with a stocked mini bar, which we took advantage of. The pedicure came with a bit of a foot and leg massage and man... that was the best part!! Felt amazing. I do think my gal went a little clip happy on my nails, but you know what? They should and would know what's best for my toenails and I just went with it. Long story short, we enjoyed our down time with a drink, conversations, chair massages, and excellent service. During my pedicure, a tube inside the bowl became extremely hot and burned the bottom of my foot. I mentioned it twice, but it wasn't removed. I now have a painful blister. My daughter's feet were also burned from water that was far too hot and left her sore afterward. We were never offered a drink while other customers were, and the manager/owner rolled his eyes when we checked in. Due to the lack of care, safety, and professionalism, I will not be returning despite being a customer for over a year.

I wanted black as the base with purple glitter as the overlay, he started with the purple and did the black as the overlay, I told him to make sure the purple was the overlay and he nodded his head and said that's what he was doing, fine I trusted his process. Get to the end that was not was he was doing, he did the opposite. My nails are paper thin and ONLY ONE day after my manicure the gel top coating was already chipping off and nails are started to feel loose like they're going to break. 3 days after my appointment the gel top coat has scratches all over it and it looks like cheap nail polish. The only thing that was right out of this whole ordeal was the coffin shape, yes colors are in correct "places" but since when is black supposed to go over the other color...? I wanted black base with the glitter over the black. When leaving the lady at the desk asked how it went I said okay but not completely what I wanted, she did nothing told me my total I paid because I had to be at work and didn't have time to argue and left. I've debated on making this review bc I've read other reviews and see how the owner "reply's" and argues with people and belittles a lot of them, but the more I look at my nails the more upset I am on how much I spent on them and they didn't even care that it wasn't what I asked for nor wanted. Don't even want to go back to have them fixed. I honestly just want compensation for a poor job done and horrible customer service, but the owner would just rather argue with paying customers instead of making things right.. Very thankful I found this place, after trying a couple others that have been disappointing. I showed up early, since I was going to be a walk in. They let me know to come back with 30-45minutes when the manicurist would be available. Larry took control and fixed/ beautified my hands. A bright boost to confidence and left knowing I didn't just waste my money. I appreciate the attention to detail and kindness.
