Used to come here often; but it's been a few years. The place shows it- which should have tipped me off. Had this been a hair salon I would have walked out, but thought well I was there and its nails so let's just do. Got the All Out mani/pedi. Place was not busy- 10:30 on a Monday- so u would think ur nail person wouldn't rush, right? Should have brought my glasses in- and should have taken a close look at everything. When I got home I noticed that most of my toes did not have polish completely on the nails! My fingers weren't much better - ONE nail had polish to the cuticle, all the others stopped before the cuticle so it looks like the polish has been on a week or so and my nails grew. Furious because of course tip before she was done- and I tipped very well, she even commented!! Would think then maybe u do a good job? Will DEF NOT be returning, not recommending. So disappointing. Follow up: 5 hours later; went to the salon near me to get another manicure. So total $135 incl tips. Should have just started there. Wish I had remembered my review from years ago. Please - save ur money and do not patron Polished Southpark

The quickest pedicure I've had with little to no effort, probably 20 minutes total. Guess that's what you get for $35. Barely pumiced my feet, heels hardly touched. No base coat used on pedicure. Basically you pay to get your toes painted.

Love love love this nail salon! I've been getting my nails done since high school and truly I've never been so committed to one salon. The customer service is awesome, they serve beverages, the layout is nice and cozy, everything is clean, and my nails always turn out exactly how I wanted them

Not impressed or all that pleased at all. You are solely paying for the location and NOT the service/experience one would expect from an "upscale" nail salon. I decided to try out Polished yesterday since I was going to dinner in the area. I walked right in, let the girl know at the counter know that I wanted a manicure, and was instructed to pick my color and take a seat at "the bar." They have an island of nail polish with various colors from essie and O.P.I and their manicure stations are set up like an actual bar complete with a cluster of TVs hanging from the ceiling. You grab a seat (your choice, given that it's not busy) and offered your choice of wine or non-alcoholic beverage, however, I was not offered anything. The woman who did my nails ended up cutting a chunk of my cuticle from my middle finger. You would think it was because she was rushing but the place was pretty quiet. There was barely an acknowledgement of her error, other than her dabbing that green ointment that immediately stops bleeding. She continued with the rest of manicure and I got to endure having a throbbing finger throughout the rest of it. After I paid and she applied the final coat of polish, I was never notified that there wasn't a dryer or any kind of drying station for the end of my manicure. So....I just had to sit at the bar/counter until I felt my nails were dry enough to leave. I've experienced MUCH BETTER service for less money at other nail salons and will not be going back, unless I'm physically dragged.

3rd times a charm as I must update my review as a final encore. I came back to Charlotte unexpectedly & made sure seeing Michelle was my top priority. The two years of being back in the DMV, I have been lucky enough to find one good, solid Nail Tech, yet there is no other than Michelle. 1st, the ever changing of renovations for Polished surely equals to the growth of the South Park area. The posh & advanced interior design is hands down exquisite. I saw lighting fixtures that belongs in Park Avenue Penthouses, the snow white walls & the studded luxury spa chairs are the finishing touch to the flawless upgrades. The rectangle marble (if another quartz, my apologies) bar provides a nail oasis where manicures are given, glasses of libations are daintily sipped & people socializing. The waiting area consists of a user friendly sectional leather couch where you can view another manicure station, retail products & the never ending nail polish tower. Every last staff member extends the friendly salutations & will make sure to communicate if your Technician is running behind, some even jump in to lend a hand. They offer additional services, such as my favorite-waxing & again, Michelle is the mini as in tiny Maestro of it all. I've been going to Michelle since 2012, regardless what state/city I may be in. Her professionalism, expertise & down to earth friendliness is not only polished, yet simply refreshing & top notched. The prices are unbeatable, the basic nail service is still pampering at its best, & regardless if you are of the upper echelon, college student, professional athlete, entertainer, average Joe/MK like me LOL...you are treated with phenomenal client services across the board, hands down. For the not so satisfied reviewers, give Polished another chance & ask for Michelle. Tell her MK sent you, as sharing is caring & you will not be disappointed!

I have a vacation coming up here soon so I wanted to get a manicure, pedicure, Brazilian, full leg, and underarm wax, and lash extensions. Everything was absolutely perfect. the waxing took all of 15 minutes and not a hair was missed. My nails look AMAZING and my tech knew exactly what i wanted when i described it to her and my lashes were done with so much detail and exactly like i wanted them done. I had a lot of appointments scheduled there for this trip and it blows my mind that every single one went off without a hitch and so greatly exceeded my expectations. love this place.

The bar area- with the game playing.

Previously, I'd been with my technician for 20+ years. I was referred to Vintage Nail Bar in Charlotte. Even though there were many salons closer to my new home, I went to see Steven based on this recommendation. I was not disappointed! He was so nice, friendly, and on time for my appointment. The salon was spacious and clean. My husband had a pedi with Vin and said he was great, too. There was another technician there, Pim, who seemed so kind - always smiling at incoming customers. I understand she does a great job with builder gel and will try her, too, in case Steven isn't available. For reference I am over 60 years young () and wanted a natural looking nail, thin on the sides and top. I'm so happy to have found this nail salon!

Kelly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. She was meticulous in the preparation of my nails for polish. She gave a very relaxing foot and lower leg massage, as well. Her polish application was perfect and she gave each coat time to dry. The result was a mani/ pedi that should last for a long time. It's already been three days with a lot of gardening and dish washing, and my hands still look perfect. Usually several nails would be showing signs of wear by now. I'm super happy and will definitely be back soon. I may have found my new "go-to" nail salon. Note: the place was busy on this Thursday afternoon. I'm glad I had an appointment.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Sassy Nails…read more I scheduled a 3:30 PM appointment, but upon arrival, there was no space prepared for me. I was asked to follow the receptionist, yet no chair was ready, and the way I was directed to sit felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. After my drink order was taken, there was little to no interaction or warmth--far from what I would expect from a "luxury" experience. What made the situation more concerning was that an open chair was quickly given to another guest (a man's daughter who did not appear to be receiving a service), without any communication or clarification. This created a confusing and uncomfortable environment, and the overall energy felt passive-aggressive and dismissive. As a resident of the building attached to this salon, I would have been a consistent and loyal customer. Unfortunately, this experience left such a negative impression that I chose to leave. I went to Anthony Vince Nail Spa just minutes away and was immediately treated with fairness, kindness, and true professionalism. The difference in service was clear and appreciated after such an uncomfortable encounter. Due to this experience--and the strong impression of unequal treatment--I will not be returning or recommending Sassy Nails. 0/10.

I made a 4:30 appointment on a Friday (I was able to make an appointment a couple days in advance) for a gel pedicure and they took me back right at 4:30. They asked if I wanted anything to drink and I got a mini bottle of water. The facility is huge- lots of manicure and pedicure spots. It is also an aveda salon, so in the back I noticed a few people getting their hair washed and a few people getting their hair colored. They played music in the spa. The pedicure chairs were normal chairs- not massage. They were kind of low to the ground lol. The pedicure was very luxurious! It included a foot soak, a scrub, a lotion, hot towels, nail shaping, and polish. They asked if I wanted orange or lavender for the scrub and lotion. With its stark, striking, all-white decor, with gold and silver accents, the place is posh and pristine! I have to say, however, that I didn't feel quite cozy here...it almost feels sterile (?) in its minimalist kind of way. Service started out kind of rocky...in a way that's hard to explain. From the reception to the pedi chair, as well as its odd payment system, the entire experience felt uneasy, almost rough. I've been to more generic, cheaper nail salons that had more of a sophisticated system...with a nice, smooth experience from start to finish. The experience here wasn't quite so smooth. Like I said, it all felt kinda rocky. My mani/pedi service also started off awkward...given that I could barely understand the young girl (very soft voice with a super-thick accent). Anyway, thought it was best if I just fiddled on my iPhone, so the communication problem wasn't a huge issue. Don't know her name, but she turned out to be really good...in terms of her technique. I'll even say that she did a stellar job with the cuticles and polishing. BTW, I just got their Mimosa Mani and Pedi (Express), so the pricing wasn't too bad for a nail salon of this caliber. Besides, it was quite pampering for an Express Service...probably equivalent to a Deluxe version in lesser salons. One last thing...Overhead Music! This always affects my overall impression. Maybe because I used to work for Muzak, where we specialized in matching up music (and messages) with the various businesses...but yes, overhead music IS important (to me, that is!). Unfortunately, this place did NOT match up the right music for its uber pristine environment. I guess I don't get why these upscaled salons and spas (including nail salons and spas) don't go with New Age, Ambient, Easy Listening type music. Despite the Fancy Schmancy ambiance, this place played rough 'n rowdy type of Pop and Soul. Mind you, I can get into Pop, Soul, even Punk and Industrial, but this type of music for this type of setting was just not right. It most definitely didn't help set the serene vibe for this type of place. Again, disappointing. Overall, I was initially mesmerized by their ambiance...but like I said, the experience itself was shaky and awkward. Plus, the bad, ill-suited music! Still, the mani and pedi service turned out to be excellent, so I'd definitely recommend this nail "boutique" for those looking to feel like a Queen (an Ice Queen?) for a Day!

You are paying for location only. The white amenities do not foster the cost for other lack luster areas. Its expensive. Everything is all a cart. What you would normally get for $30 pedi will be $60+. Meaning, scrub, paraffin wax and/or callous treatment or anything else will be extra and is not included. The chairs are gorging but that's it. Don't get excited, no massaging chairs, no adjusting base. The basin where your feet go does not have jets. They do not line each chair with plastic for sanitation. Speaking of which the basins are haphazardly cleaned afterwards. Might I add that they're low with no way of getting out but to step in the basin with dirty shoes and possibly break your neck on the way out. I had two nail techs at the same time which is a pet peeve of mine. I was getting a gel mani and pedi. The tech on my toes was rough and careless. Tony was his name. He polished and left globs of nail polish in between the nail bed and skin. My finger tech was sweet. Taylor. Was her name. She was exceptional and focused. As for the techs on my friends. They were young girls that literally goss3snd cackled the whole time. I was completely amiss. For the price I'm paying and the location I expected so much more.
