My hair is completely changed since I found Jasmine! It went from dry, curly and frizzy to soft and straight. It was also brown and now it is a golden blond. People don't recognize me in a good way! Jasmine has also become a trusted friend and I look forward to seeing her and catching up. Just worried too many of you will start seeing her and she will be too busy for me . read more

I've been going to Jaz for many years now, I don't let anyone else touch my hair. She is the only one who knows how to handle my frizzy curly hair and get it exactly how I want it to be, I've gone to dry bars and other hair stylists & no one can straighten my hair the way she does. Jaz is great with cut, color and styling also. If you are looking for a great experience and professional stylist, Jaz is the one! read more

Reasons why Hair by Jazmin Saavedra is great: 1. Her studio - A very nice, welcoming studio. Nice decor and drinks offered (beer, wine, etc.). 2. Location - The building is right on PCH, close to the water, in the beautiful Hermosa Beach. The building offers free parking which is super convenient. 3. Jaz - She is a hard working, fun, down to earth, and talented hairstylist. She is a very friendly person - easy to talk to and is very easy to work with even if you have no idea what you want to do with you hair. I almost never know what I want going into the studio and always leave happy with what I get. She's a great listener and is an artist. Also, she is very good with thick Asian hair. Always a great cut and great time with Jaz - I highly recommend at least trying her out if you are looking for a new stylist. read more

Where do I begin? Let's start with the fact that I have NEVER left her chair disappointed or unhappy with my results. Jazz is amazing. She keeps up with the latest hair trends and techniques which is great... Because I sure don't. She is great at listening to my ideas and what i would like to try on my hair. She loves what she does. This is her passion. The studio space is tastefully decorated and very clean...had a long day? Have some delicious coffee, tea, water or as I often do, an alcoholic beverage......or two ...I won't judge you. My hair always looks healthy and well kept because Jaz only uses the best products around. I don't always have time to style my hair she has tips to make my hair look good while on the run... With 3 children that can be a challenge but Jaz knows her stuff. She has taught me so much about my hair and haircare products..Did I mention the scalp and neck massage? I drive 45 minutes for my hair appointments with a smile on my face because I know she has something wonderful up her sleeve. Never disappoints.:) read more

Jazmin is such a talented hair stylist. She's been cutting and lately coloring my 19 yr old daughter's hair for over 5 years and now mine as well. She has brought my over bleached hair back to health and I trust her recommendations with color and style. She's such a sweet, honest and good person as well. These pics are from a recent appointment, she did a beautiful updoo for a formal night out. Everyone I've sent to her is so pleased and agree Jazmin is the best! read more

For years I have searched for someone who could transform my stuffy white guy haircut into something trendy and new and for years I have been disappointed by the various places I tried. That's until I stumbled across Jaz. On a completely random Saturday or Sunday afternoon I was lucky enough to meet Jaz while she was out with friends. Talk eventually turned to jobs, and when Jaz mentioned that she cut hair I immediately had questions. She assured me that she could do something with what I was bringing to the table and with that we parted ways. Fast forward a week when I needed a haircut for Valentine's Day. Jaz listened to what I was wanting and we talked about all the problem areas with my hair and in no time at all she had transformed my hair from geek to chic (why isn't chic spelled sheek!?!). She was super friendly and you could tell how much she cared about the job she was doing. I will be back again the next time I need to tame the mane and would recommend her to anyone in need of some hair therapy. read more

AMAZING STYLIST!!! You can literally feel the passion and enjoyment she has for what she does every time you go in. I think it's been almost 3 years that I go to Jaz. Even now that I live an hour away. I'll still make the commute. It's rather hard to find a stylist who is consistent with their work throughout the years. Usually, they start to skim off the little details or completely slack off as their client list grows. However, I don't see that with Jaz. Each time I visit, I always leave satisfied with her work. I'll continue to refer my friends/family to her. read more

Jaz is amazing! My color/balayage is always perfect. I've been growing out my hair for a while and she has shaped it into exactly what I've always wanted. She is professional, funny, always prompt, and always accommodating. Plus she is super fun to chat with. If you are n the South Bay looking for a stylist, Jazmin is your girl. Almost forgot, she always styles my hair perfectly. I wish I could put her in my pocket and have her do my hair every day! Doesn't hurt to dream... read more

I've been going to Jaz since I moved to LA a year and a half ago. She is the only person I trust with my hair because she takes the time to listen to what I like, her balayage always looks amazing and she keeps my hair health in mind when doing anything. Jaz has renewed my faith in hair stylists! I have had a long history of family cutting my hair sometimes not so well and sometimes with little to no car for breaking my skin with the line up. I ended up growing my hair out for four years before I met Jaz. Super cool and down the earth I'd never let anyone else touch my hair. read more

I went in with black boxed colored hair. I know I know not good for any hair stylist to deal with BUT low and behold Jaz transformed my hair into something beautiful. I went into her space feeling and defiantly not looking my best but I came out a new woman. I'm beyond grateful for her talent. Thank you Ms. Jaz you are amazing. read more

Needed to get a haircut and color last Friday and my usual stylist was not available. I was frantic looking for a good one. I'm usually afraid to try someone new because it can be scary if you don't like the end result. Turned out that Jaz saved my day! She couldn't be any nicer to accommodate me. I loved how my hair turned out! Cut and color looks great! Definitely recommend her! read more

Jasmine is awesome! She has been doing my hair for over 2 years and I am a nightmare of a client since I am super picky with my hair :) she is honest, her work is great, her prices are reasonable, and her studio is clean and cozy. She listens and doesn't try to force her own ideas on you. She is also very respectful of my quiet time as I often bring materials to read or just listen to music as I get my hair done. I have recommended her to a number of friends and will continue to do so. read more

I have been going to Jaz for more than 3 years now and I love it! Every time I go to her, we do a little bit of experimenting, so my hair never turn out the same and it is so much fun. She knows what hair cuts will go with my square face and she never let me do anything stupid. Thank you, Jaz! She is now the sole hair stylist for my immediate family, women, man, and boys. When my sister and nieces are in town, they go to her too and try out some really daring hair coloring. She is very good with what she does, especially coloring. We are already talking about how we should color and cut my hair for my next appointment. I always look forward to see her again! read more

Jaz has been doing my hair for years now. She has amazing talent for both color and cut. I found Jazmin about 4 years ago on Yelp, when I relocated to the South Bay. Thank goodness! She's been the perfect stylist for me, for both cut and color. She's incredibly patient and somehow always knows what I want. I always leave the chair happy and receive so many compliments on my hair. Every time. I now live an hour away and still make the trek to Hermosa to see Jaz. I could not recommend her more! read more

I've been a client of Jaz for almost 3 years now, and since then my hair has been the healthiest and prettiest its ever been! I trust her completely with my locks from every cut to every color change up! The first time I visited her, it was my first time lightening up and adding some balayage highlights to my hair. For years I've always had long black hair (which is my go-to) and I've always been super picky with who cuts or touches my hair so I kinda always stick with that look too to be "safe". Ever since I met Jaz though I've been more open to trying different shades, and am always happy with the outcome. Even when I stick with solid darker shades, she works her magic and still makes sure my hair has some dimension to it! Besides her impressive technique, She's also really good at explaining what product she puts into my hair so I fully understand what the process is and what chemicals are in it. Most importantly, Jaz is a sweetheart and is just a breath of fresh air to be around when I'm sitting in her chair. She's very down to earth, funny, and good company to be around while I'm getting my hair did. I highly recommend her! read more

I have been going to Jaz for almost 2 years and love her! I look forward to catching up with her during our appointments. She is so friendly and obviously really cares about the lives of her clients. She makes it easy to book with her and I'm so happy she is my stylist. read more

I was referred here due to my hair being very compromised from excess bleaching. My hair had broken off In random places. I wanted to continue to lighten my hair, but was turned down from multiple hair salons do to excess damage. NO ONE wanted to touch my hair......until I met Jaz. She not only helped me find a hairstyle that made my hair look healthy again, but she also was able to gently lighten my hair to the color I wanted. So thankful I found her. Jaz is the best!! She really knows what she is doing. I would recommend her happily to anyone. read more

I had my hair done by Jazmin a few days ago, and everyone, and I do mean everyone, has complimented me on it. I've been going to Jaz for at least 3 years...probably longer but I've lost track because all previous stylists are long forgotten now that I've found Jaz! She is absolutely amazing. I routinely have her color (every 8 weeks) and cut my hair. Recently, when I told her that I wanted short hair, she knew exactly what type of cut to give me, taking into consideration my faceshape and low-maintenance style. I didn't have to spend hours looking for pictures of what I wanted or thought I wanted in a new haircut. She knew exactly what would look good for me! Her salon is adorable, clean and cozy. She is very professional and responsive, easy to work with, flexible with appointments. Parking is free in the covered lot (downstairs has more parking). Jaz is a complete sweetheart, very easy to talk to! She is the type of person who can strike up an interesting conversation with anyone, whether you have different or similar interests, and can instantly become your friend. read more
