I really like this place. Owners and staff are very friendly, helpful, accommodating and talented! I really like their methods too. Very detailed and complete. They also have the best hours in town - they open earlier and also stay open later then most. I always get a pedi and a gel polish and its typically $55 before tip. I have just moved into this area and was looking for a new salon to frequent. I walked into Polish at 9:45 (they open at 9:00) on a Wednesday and it was empty. They took me right away, were polite and friendly. They lady that did my nails was very detailed and they came out great. There is a good selection of nail colors and quite a few colors to choose from when it comes to the gel polish. The salon was very clean and was modern in decor (they even have a smart toilet..lol) I spent $75 (including tip) for a french pedi, gel nails, and an eyebrow wax-good deal since I moved from Chicago! I would give 0 stars if I could. I called ahead to see how much it would be to do a manicure with no polish- they said $12. After my manicure was finished it looked HORRIBLE and they all of a sudden charge me $22. I questioned why it would be $22 after they had already told me it would only be $12 and they said because it's $10 to TAKE OFF shellac. I told them I didn't know this and that they should have told me before when I called to ask about it. They proceeded to say that "their customers" know the prices. I told them they needed to paint my nails because of how they ripped off my nail bedding when they took off my shellac (which I could have done myself). They said 3 more dollars. And so I did and it looks absolutely disguisting. Even though I paid more than full price for a regular manicure they didn't care at all about what they were doing to my nails. I went for an acrylic set for the first time today at Polish Nail salon. I definitely will not be back. I was rushed through with a guy who didn't seem to have any idea what he was doing. My nails were missing powder, and color on the sides. Glue was all over the sides of my finger tips, the lengths had been totally different, and two nails were lop sided. I have horrible social anxiety so I didn't know what to do and ended up paying for this. My husband had me go back so we could get them taken off and ask for a refund. They made us wait 45 minutes to be told they don't give refunds and I could have my nails redone by the same man who ruined them in the first place. We asked that they be taken off and the manager proceeded to tell me to soak my hands in a bowl filled with acetone. I cut my loses and left. My nails look and feel horrible. WORST MANICURE EVER! My appointment was at 6 and I didn't sit down until 6:20 and they didn't start doing my nails until 6:45. All I wanted was gel and a design. So he does the gel and there is a fuzz in one nail and one was chipped 5 minutes after the manicure. They didn't have the color I wanted either. And he made me wait for the design, he didn't have the color for that either. Then I didn't leave the place until 8. I will never go back again. They are cheap but you get a bad manicure. I got my nails done on a Thursday and by Sunday all of my fingers had chips in the gel polish. Normally gel manicures last 2 weeks! I went back and was told I had to pay an additional $15 for the "fix." Three days later and all of my nails chipped again. I do not recommend this salon. I will not be going back. This place is over priced for the service they give. I paid $164 for my sister and I to get a pedicure and gel nails. First, they did not even scrub out feet, all the did was cut the cuticles and massage our legs. Then for my gel nails they did not do anything to my actually nails, didn't shape them or even cut my cuticles!! Like how do you not do that but charge $56. THEN on top of that I told the man doing my nails that 2 of them were crooked and he basically didn't fix it so I left with to nails point to the right when they should have been straight. My sister and I both had our nails breaks within a week. Another this is the thickness of the nail was just unnecessary, the nails were lumpy and uneven. I do not have any pictures because the nails were not worth me taking a picture of them. Do not go here and pay these prices. Maybe if it was $10 I'd go back to get my nails done but not for $56. I have been to Polish numerous times. My first clue this time should have been that the fish tank was disgustingly dirty and you could not see the fish! I have heard that they have changed ownership once again and that may have something to do with my review. I had my usual, a shellac pedicure; and it is by far the worst one I have ever received! It is so thick and already coming up. I called to speak to a manager and they gave me a "false" name because I called back today and they said no one works there by that name. Hello well I have been a customer for over 4 years. The original owners were Troy and Vicki! They were AWESOME! No the new owner is Dan and his wife Christine. They are moody and not customer focused. They don't care about the regulars and the loyal customer they are all about getting you in and out. The mature women they have doing pedicures is horrible! I have gone through this summer trying to keep my business with them but they don't care. The quality of the pedicure and polish is horrible! The colors are streaked and your nail is not covered. They don't clip the dry skin away its looks like I could do it at home!!!! My fills are never consistent anymore. They have fired every good person. STAY AWAY! The staff at this salon is so rude. They ignore you when you walk in and ignore you when you walk out. The quality of the services is average at best. If you want to feel as though you are bothering people while you are handing them your money, this would be the place to go. Also I had a problem with my manicure cracking within 48 hours and they have a guarantee on their website that they would touch up for free. My first visit with Polish Nail Salon was on February 19, 2015 which was mediocre at best when it came to Customer Service. As I was being serviced the employee "Singh" totally ignored me but kept trying to make conversation with the customer sitting next to me - whom was uninterested in talking to him. However, he did a decent enough job but argued with me because I didn't tell him I wanted color (polish) even though I kept advising him that I didn't understand his [bad] English. I would also like to note that a few days later the tips of my nails began to separate from the faux tips causing dirt to be trapped. On March 5th, 2015 I visited again for a fill and the gentleman (name unknown) did a nice job & I tipped him, however 3 days later the 2 tips broke. I went to the shop & explained the situation and a lady (name unknown) asked me to sit down and began the repairs. She kept making me go back to the polish station to find the exact match of polish that was used originally! When we decided on a match she then advised me I would have to pay again. I advised her I shouldn't have to pay since I was just 3 days prior in the shop for a fill. All of a sudden the same gentleman who did the fill enters the conversation and starts yelling he's not going to argue with me & "you guys" should look at the policy before you get services. I advised him the lady never told me I would have to pay again before I sat down. He said he didn't care he was not going to argue with me. Then he spoke in their native language to the lady servicing me and when I turned around she had clipped off the nails which she had repaired. She then threw on some polish (which looked like a kindergartner scribbling and I was asked to leave the store. I asked for the owner's name and I was only told "Lenny" & they refused a last name. read more

I was there on the 23rd of December and i told them it was my first time there so you would think they would do a fantastic job so that I'd come back yeah well they did the worst job. I got shellac gel nail and i asked the girl if they did designs by pictures she said yes so i went with the basic white nail with a gold line and the ring fingers being fully gold. She cut the nails without asking me a length and they were crooked as could be. Also they were all different lengths. Then she didn't take the time filing my nails so the polish turned our rough and bumpy. The polish doesn't even cover my nails completely nor was it the design i showed her. My nails took less than an hour and my friend got one color acrylics which took half an hour longer than mine( we got taken at the same time by different people) and turned out decent not great. If i wanted to pay good money for the quality of what a 2 year old could do I'll come back to this place otherwise i highly recommend going somewhere else. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! The first time i went in i got my nails done by a younger girl and she did a good job. the second time i went i got an older man and i asked him to keep the same shape just make them shorter and he did the opposite of what i asked for! i originally had an almond shaped nail, the final result was super short nails and really squared. when i asked him to fix it he said he couldn't, that my nails were to short to get the shape that i wanted. The third time i went, everyone was busy except for the older man who did them last time, i gave him the benefit of a doubt and went with him a second time. i showed him a picture of how i wanted my nails done shape and color. First he tells me that they don't have the color i want, second he tells me if i want the shape i showed him he would need to take the nail off and do a whole new set because my nails were still to short from the previous time. i waited a whole month to go in, because i was giving my nails enough time for them to be long enough so that i could get a specific shape done. clearly a month wasn't long enough. i said ok to getting a new set done, which i had to pay as a whole new set instead of a fill. I show him a second picture of a different color nail i wanted it was a matte burgundy and he tells me that they dont have that color either. Ok fine. Finally i picked a color from the key ring. He starts taking my nails off, instead of having me soak my nails in acetone to make it less painful he starts to just pull them off which was VERY painful. Finally he starts working on my nails and the final product was horrible!. the nails are really long, when i asked him to file them shorter he got an attitude. The nails are very crooked. It was just a horrible experience these last two times. i honestly spent all afternoon trying to fix my nails making them shorter. i will definitely not be going there anymore. i dont know how any of the other employees are except for the first girl who did my nails which did a god job. but if you go DO NOT GO WITH THE OLDER MAN. he is rude and clearly doesnt care about the client. read more
