I booked my appt through their booking site. It said an acrylic set was $47. I understand that designs will usually up the cost.. however my nails were pretty basic. I ended up paying $80 for these.. I originally was going to get a different set.. when I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted, she then took a picture on her phone and called other employees over laughing. I obviously didn't understand what anyone was saying.. I'll attach a picture of what I originally wanted.. and I'm hoping she was laughing because she couldn't do it...but it did make me uncomfortable. I more than likely will not be back to this shop..
First time visiting. I went in for a pedicure, and I was nervous because I tend to be a little sensitive when someone works on my toenails. The salon was very cute and clean, and the ladies were all nice. I didn't catch the name of the person who took care of me, but she deserve praise. She did a great job and was so gentle. I will be returning to the salon and hopefully will get her name next time. Definitely recommend if you are looking to get a pedicure.
I come to visit my daughter and I told her let's try this place people are bragging about it on TIK TOK. Immediately my daughter and I noticed how dirty everything is including the chair and the cart and here they have all the pedicure items. Mind you I paid $84 for this horrible pedicure. You can even see she didn't cut the cuticle or even file my toes. My daughter got cut 2x cause the lady was so busy answering the phone and not paying attention. I should have known and went to her normal place. Also since when pedicures are this expensive $84 for gel. Whatever happened to the $30 dollar pedicures. I WONT BE BACK to dirty for me !!
Jessica was my technician that did my manicure! She was great! I enjoyed the hand massage the best and she did well I just wish it would had been a little longer but other than that it was great. My daughter paid for a manicure with gel for my birthday. It was very busy at 9am and they had more than enough people to keep up with the demand. Enjoyed the vibe and the perks they provided like phone holders and purse holders on the tables. Very accommodating
I should have gone to my usual slot which is Q spa and nail but wanted to give Polish nail a try since I've been seeing their stuff on social media. The lady who did my nails did a horrible job. I got the gel manicure which was the $40 and my nails look like shit. $40 down the drain. The lady didn't take her time when polishing my nails. The polish is uneven and way too thick. Will not be going back.
I came back for a new set after 3 weeks and was honestly so impressed. They used a gel hybrid on me and there was no lifting at all, mind you, I do a lot of heavy work. Which says a lot about their work. For my first set, I wasn't expecting much, I just wanted something simple during my break since I always have my nails done but they still exceeded my expectations. The quality and longevity were amazing. As for my second time, I am absolutely in love with my new set!!! Quin did not disappoint! She did a great job with the details. I also noticed the nail tech who was working on her clients next to me was also very attentive and friendly. Honestly the vibe at Polish Nails Spa Santee was amazing, I can tell the nail techs here love their jobs because everyone was so welcoming. Highly recommend this place!
edited. This salon and the owners knew about the problems with my nails since the day after they were done and the owner that did them wouldnt fix them and they refused to give me my money back. They also told me never to come back to their salon again because I wanted my money back.Their response is complete BS. Absolutely awful experience here. The place was filthy and not as pictured in their ads at all.No fresh nail art, over priced, I paid $77.45 with a $5 discount for this fill performed by the owner. Just a couple older ladies inside on a Saturday so if youre looking to get in somewhere quick this is your place.They give a discount to anyone who posts a positive google review, which I feel is a deceptive way of getting good reviews. There were no young girls or cute nails coming out of this shop the weekend I was there so after seeing that sign in the shop and going to review this place and seeing the other reviews and the nails, buyer beware.
I was referred to Nikki at Polish Nails and Spa by a friend and she did not disappoint! Not only did she hear what exactly I wanted perfect, she was quick with her quality work. We all were chit chatting and laughing the entire time! Polish is also such a great vibe. They also offer you a couple drinks while you're there. 10/10 would recommend!
Usually have really bad luck with nail salons but this place is great! Got a gel polish on my hands and toes and Hailey & Tiffany were fast, precise, and gentle, and made sure I liked everything they were doing. Absolutely would come again!
The best nail salon ever! I always come here, and Nikki is the best. She always does my nails exactly how I want them. I'm a little picky sometimes, but she's always so patient and never makes me feel rushed. I never leave disappointed because she pays attention to every detail and always does an amazing job. I highly recommend Nikki to anyone looking for beautiful, high-quality nails!

I've gone to polish for a while now but won't be going back what a disappointment to say the least...first none of my nails are even they are way fatter my natural nails by far the worst set I've had done so I suggest save your time and money they only over charge for a sad excuse for a set of nails

I have been coming to Polish Nail Spa for over two years now! Hannah has done my nails and she is the absolute best . Jean is the owner and always makes everyone feel so welcome and special! They have updated the inside of their salon so their vibe is off the chain !!! Every holiday Hannah is able be creative with my nails. With Halloween coming up I decided on black with orange and green tips! She also does very awesome candy stripe for Christmas! This is the best nail salon in San Diego! read more

Again as someone who is very picky about everything, I had a great experience here. My momma and I had a girls day and I came in wanting something very natural and simple on my own nails. She killed it! (Sorry I didn't get her name) I had her change a couple of things throughout the designing (wanting to be thinner) and she was really kind about it. Great experience! Quinn and Nicky were both polite and listened to my requests and hopes for what my nails would look like. I got a gel pedicure and dip manicure. Both were lovely and it made for a nice relaxing visit to the salon. They were able to get me in right away and do my nails and toes at the same time, which in a crunch of time is so helpful! It was still relaxing and they did a great job. Nicky went above and beyond with the cute Valentine's Day nails! I love them! read more

I'm so disappointed. I'll start with this, I do take responsibility for not speaking up more about my dissatisfaction during the appointment. I do like to get an understanding of the base level of skill and attention a technician deems acceptable for a final product, so as a rule, I do try to keep my complaints down. So I do take full responsibility for deciding to pay for a product I was not satisfied with at all. So while the design was not what I was expecting, I won't be basing my review off if it, but there is a small note about it I do want to point out. I have included the inspiration picture I showed the technician. When asked if I wanted all the dots to be the same size, I said yes, I would like the dots to be small and all the same size just like the picture. She clarified herself asking again because "some people like different size dots and I just want to make sure." I reiterated that I wanted all the dots to be small and the same size, just like the picture. You can see that my dots are not the same size. Like I said, I will take accountability for not having her redo the design, but I did think it was worth mentioning. Also, at this point, I was so disappointed and ready to be out of the chair because I knew I was going to have to fix it. With all that aside, the level of quality I left with is very disappointing. She did mention that if I didn't like anything, I should let her know, which I did really appreciate, however, when I did point out 2 separate issues, they were ignored. The first issue I had was the shape of my ring finger nails was lopsided, I noticed one side was thicker and I asked her to file it down some. She did a little but then said "I'm going to file it down at the end, it's ok." It was not filed down at the end and it is lopsided. The second issue I pointed out was I noticed a hair at the end of my pointer finger and before curing, I pointed it out. She again responded "it's ok, I'm filing it at the end." She did not file it off. And it is sharp. The rest of the pictures show uneven application of top coat on 2 nails, overflow of top coat on two nails, product on my fingers and poor/ uneven filing & shaping. I believe that those are issues that should not have to be mentioned to a technician. At the very least, product should not be left on a clients hands and poor application of polish should not have to be pointed out by the client, because it's expected that at the very least, polish should be applied evenly. I also find it rude when a technician talks on their phone while providing service. I understand that there and special situations when a call needs to be answered, but I think they should excuse themselves to have the conversation. I would much rather you step away for 20 minutes than have you have your head tilted holding a phone and not giving full attention to the job you are performing. I realize this is a personal gripe. I know at any point I could have pointed out my grievances, but with the design aside, the end result of this set was not professional. I should not have to point out uneven topcoat, it should be a given that anyone who walks in for a service will at least get that. Professionalism should not have to be asked for when going to a professional. read more

This is my favorite place and Quin always does my nails PERFECTLY!! I can go in with a picture and she will recreate it or I can tell her my idea and it's like she takes it from my head and makes it reality. She takes good care around the cuticles and has an excellent attention to detail. She doesn't leave any bumps or residue or imperfections at all and the nails easily last 3+ weeks. Not to mention booking is easy, I'm seen on time without an excessive wait, and everyone is super nice!! I'm so glad I found this place. read more

Love my most recent mani/pedi! I went in to get a very specific nail color. "Praline Dark Brown glazed donut manicure". I showed Nikki what I wanted and I was blown away! She did a beautiful job! Today was one of the rare times I got exactly what I asked for. Customer service is excellent and the environment was great. I can't wait to go back for my next service! read more

I started coming here about 6 months ago. And I can't say enough good things about Polish Nails Spa. I go to Megan for all of my manis. SHE IS AMAZING! See picture . She knows what i like sometimes better than i do, and always does something fun, bright, and colorful because she knows that's what i love. I have also had pedicures from Tanya and Mai, both were amazing. I have pretty sensitive nails and removal at other salons were very stressful, and all of the people i have had at this salon are gentle. Never hurt my nails. They do beautiful, good quality work in a timely manner. The salon has the BEST color selection of any salon i have ever been to. The variety of dip colors, chromes, cat eye, holographic, and just generally fun colors is a joy. The atmosphere of the shop is always positive and up beat, and it seems like everyone that works there is happy. I love the shop overall, but most importantly, I love Megan. Terrible! I came in today for a pedicure and a manicure. The pedicure was OK except for I felt like she just did a less than basic job even though I paid for the extras ! my toenails are all uneven. I paid for the Calus scrub ,which she barely scrubbed . I paid for a manicure and my finger nails look the same as they did when I came in! Which is the whole reason I wanted the manicure, so basically I paid for nothing. I was even digging stuff out from under my fingernails after she said she was done. I think she took the advantage that I was tired after my work shift and was dozing off a little bit. The worst part is, I had my phone on Google Translate to communicate with her and my phone picked up them talking bad things about me and other people in the nail shop.. and although she did not deserve a tip, I still tipped her a very nice amount. overall, not a good experience and I will not be returning.! read more

While googling around this shop was the first one to come up that does builder gel in the East county area... Read the reviews and was impressed. I walked in and was greeted immediately and noticed that there were a lot of people getting their nails done so I thought this could be the place... I asked for funny bunny in the French manicure. I didn't realize that my nails were so bad until I walked out and looked at them in the sun. Came in for a fill and a fun design idea. I was going to wait until Sunday when Megan got back but I trust Nikki as well. She is super sweet and kind and got excited when I showed her the design I wanted. She works quickly but with a purpose and her work is top notch. Her fills also last 3+ weeks. Today the music was on point and the vibe was super friendly, as usual. I decided to get my brows waxed because I was running out of time and the woman who did it did a great job. For the fill, style of nails, a brow wax, and tip came to $112. Be sure to pay them via Zelle so you don't have to pay any extra fees and bring cash for tips. read more

How's the air circulation here? Does it smell strong of the nail chemicals? Or do they have a pretty good air filtration system?
The air circulation was pretty good. I know some places are pretty overwhelming but it didn't smell like nails.

My pedi was incredible. First time I did one and I loved it. It's nice for us to allow ourselves to be pampered and the girl that did mine did an incredible job. I've been coming to this place for over 7 yrs and love how they do my nails here.
