Beware! It was the worst experience I have ever had. This store sells spoiled and expired products! I bought eleven products during one purchase; THREE were either spoiled or expired. The milk-containing product expired more than one month before I bought it, and the kebanosa expired more than one week before the purchase! When I went back and talked to the owners and showed them the products and my check, they were sooo rude, accusing me and even denying apologies. If you care about your health and don't want to get poisoned, you'd better think about going or not to do shopping in this store. read more

Very rude, unprofessional people. We went there a couple times with my husband but same horrible experience every single time. No greeting, the people behind the counter just look at us like we are up to no good. (Every time) Today was the last time I spent money there. I was with stroller and I was placing my items into the bottom of the stroller. When it was my turn to pay, the big overweight guy behind the counter looked under the stroller like I'm stealing, The lady at the register punched in 60$ for the two chips and cottage cheese. Great Polish store and deli I try to go to anytime I am even near Norwalk. The hot buffet always has homemade dishes and soups to make your mouth water. I also enjoy the freshly made beet and other salads available. Like another Yelp reviewer, when I visit I stock up for a few days meals! So satisfyingly delicious! And definitely decent prices. To start, they have highly inconvenient hours; opening at 11 am most days. I've found them to have an Incredibly rude staff. Also, they are Constantly raising prices over the years for both fresh and jarred or items. Spent over $100 on items - not even a thank you. They are even ruder if you don't speak polish. So you might have noticed I'm not Polish. Between my skin tone and what I've said about reviewing Japanese foods might have given it all away. However, I've eaten my share of Eastern European food along the way, so please keep that in mind. What we have here is a very much above-average hot food bar. They choose the foods to display well -- things with lots of sauces so things don't dry out on the buffet, and they're all executed very well. Awesome place I love it. They have a hot buffet with all the good stuff. It's delicious, filling, reliable, and affordable. When I stop by I just grab 3-4 meals worth at once to take home for later. This is the real deal - an absolute must go to place. There is a small area for general grocery stuff, just all the important stuff like pickles, candies, and other miscellaneous stuff you might want. There is an excellent selection of meats and assorted kielbasa, all of which I would recommend. I prefer the cherry wood smoked one but I stock up on the thin ones because they last longer. It's a friendly place but at the same time it just feels like you are dealing with Polish people and I mean that in a good way. If you are Polish you will know what I mean I am sure. Obviously it's Polish speaking friendly and I almost feel bad for not knowing how to speak the language. I'm so glad I started coming here and I recommend it to everyone I know and will continue to religiously support this place. Oh and don't forget the pierogi. It doesn't get much better than this. Authentic - the real deal. Expensive compared to grocery store bought junk but worth buying if you are a real foodie and want to know how they should taste. read more

The only reason I wished I still lived in Norwalk. I don't get here nearly as often as I'd like because of the traffic on CT Avenue. It doesn't help that the a/c is out in my car. I still go and I still love the hot bar, and have to restrain myself from the imported sweets. Plus, potato and cheese pierogie. Need I say more? read more

New ownership needs to get their act together. Not realizing ownership had changed called in order for 5 dozen pierogi that I have done numerous times in the past. They always made them fresh, and while the person taking the order said there was new ownership never told me they no longer made them, even though i repeatedly said you make them on Tuesdays right? I arrived when they told me to but they weren't ready, so when I said but you told me to come at this time they told me they arrived late. What do you mean don't you make them? No they buy them. As i was putting the pierogi and kielbasa's I purchased in the car one of the employees followed me outside yelling did you pay for that? I come from a Eastern European background and was spoiled growing up with homemade stuffed cabbage, etc. I can duplicate those recipes, but...why when you can purchase them at such a reasonable price and with such very nice people to help you. This deli is amazing! The inside is like a little Polish grocery store with a small section to sit and eat, a deli counter and hot food bar. The stuffed cabbage and burgos from the hot food bar were delicious. At the deli counter, there are a million different types of kielbasa and ham to choose from. The Polish lady behind the counter helped me decide which type of kielbasa I wanted and gave me tips on how to cook it. Everything is reasonably priced - I brought home enough food for 6 people and it cost under $60. I wouldn't recommend eating at the deli with a large group, but great for take home. I'm so glad I live close because I will be returning very often! read more

This must have the worst cleaning lady the whole place smells like disgusting rotten food. the floors are gross tables are gross the people there over charge and arent very friendly. i would not recommend this place to anyone. and it gets better i had bought a sandwich. when i had gotten to my car to open the wrapper i notice the roll is harder and not soft as one should be. so after taking a closer look i found mold spots all over my bread. and then i was told that it wasnt mold from the guy inside read more
