Full service polish deli with great European delicatessen meats including head cheese,salami,double bacon,polish style rolled bacon(we call it Capicola). Hard to find polish grocery items spices etc. Stopped for a quick lunch to go which is today pork stew(not fatty at all) dumplings (similar to potato gnocchi) cold sauerkraut with dill and a radish salad. Also picked up a Nutella and a rose Packzi(donuts) which are almost double the size of your standard jelly doughnuts. this is the finest Polish Deli that I have ever visited and I have visited many including in Connecticut, New Jersey, and even Poland. The food is outstanding. The chicken soup is unbelievable and so reasonable that you will not believe it when you go there. It is so clean you could eat off the floor. I wish other establishments could take the clue and hire people who are as knowledgeable and friendly as the people in this establishment. I made a COVID-era visit on a Saturday afternoon and am pleased to report the store was in a good order, with customers coming and going, and a limit. I had not been in the store in a number of years and noted that packaged goods had expanded into a neighboring store - duck around the back corner to see the full selection. The kabanosy and kielbasi are still excellent, the packaged goods both refrigerated and non are all present, and I think the service is a good bit friendlier than the Brooklyn and Queens Polish places. Found this one via Yelp when I was passing through Yonkers. It's kind of a hole in the wall, and doesn't have all that much inventory, but what they do carry is pretty good. Their centerpiece is a big deli case with Polish and Russian sausage, smoked cheese, and other delicacies. I tried a few and they were rather tasty and pretty cheap. The guy working there was a good egg, though I can't say I was all that impressed with him eating a few slices off the order he was preparing for me. Dude, save it for the lunch break! read more

Great little Polish spot if you don't feel like driving to Greenpoint for a few staples. I had the soup and some meat dishes and they were all tasty. I also had paczki and yum!!!! Every big holiday, I make my way there to get kielbasa (yes, they have smoked and fresh!) and fixings to make kapusta. While in there, I stock up on Polish condiments and goodies, like pierogi, mustard, horseradish and pickled mushrooms. The staff speaks fluent Polish and English. They are helpful when asked. It can get pretty packed at times, so make sure to have an idea what you want when it's crowded. This place has a bunch of authentic Polish food. I came for Kielbasa and Pirogies and was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly, I asked about the different sausages and they helped me pick the twice smoked house-made Kielbasa that was amazing! I also got Cheese, Kraut, and Onion flavored house-made pirogies. They have a tone of fresh made food in the deli case. A lot of the original polish packaged food is packaged with real Polish labels. To help them and to help me, I would encourage the owners to provide English descriptions under the product. With a description of the product i would probably have purchased more. One of the best delis I have ever been to! Very Polish! As in all the customers speak polish and while the workers there speak english, they don't speak it fluently. A million types of homemade Kielbasa and a never ending variety of pork products all at very reasonable prices. The homemade perogies are excellent and they have four types. And to top it all off they have fresh hot foods available. They also have polish candy, polish bread, polish magazines, polish jam, and I swear to god they had a polish pregnancy tester just to cover all their bases. The service was good, and the woman who took my order did her best to explain what everything was. It was a bit chaotic, but as long as you went up to the counter and flagged someone down you got service. Very easy to drive right by so a GPS would be helpful. It is right next to a massive church if that helps. It should not be too hard to get to from 87 since it is on the main road into downtown yonkers. read more

First of all, I'm Polish so I know how good Polish food should taste and this place lives up to this! Every time I go there, I come back with plenty of goodies that are not only delicious but also last for a very long time, which is the best proof of the fact that they are very fresh. They have a decent selection of ready to eat meals as well, if you're ever hungry for lunch, try their menu of the day, it is also very cheap! I love their meats, this includes cold cuts and great selection of kielbasa, as well as dairy products and of course, pastries, in particular, paczki. I often buy 24 and bring them to work where they disappear before lunch and everyone says how delicious they are even though they are on a diet:) Try this store and you won't regret! read more

I used to like this deli for delicious cold cuts and sausages but during the last year the food got bad. They sell molded bread, low sodium ham (szynka malosolna) tastes not to fresh, kabanosy consists of 90% fat, sausage (krajana) has no taste at all, pate not edible. This deli is the only one in my area, so Mrs Henia - change cooks or take food from different producers and if something is old do not try to sell to make few more $. I see that you were loosing clients over the last year and it is not because of recession but bad quality of food.
