Doctor came through about 2/3rds of the way, did a check of the eye photos and looked into the eyes, checked a few other items and laid out some straightforward vision items. Front desk deals with the billing, charges (copays) and collects upfront. While I prefer getting a receipt right away, they told me they'd email me instead, which took a bit of work - I had to actually go back and get it in-person the next time we visited since a promised email version never was sent to me - a blemish in an otherwise good experience.

I confirmed that I do and that it is Davis Vision. The representative responded that they do not accept Davis Vision. I pointed out that Davis Vision is listed on KEC's website as an accepted provider, at which point the representative replied, "Are you a website designer?"--a dismissive and unprofessional remark. While I have a good sense of humor, the interaction ultimately wasted my time and left me questioning the reliability of both the information on KEC's website and the Yelp reviews that led me there.

During a routine examination, Dr. Kaiser noticed an anomaly on the retina of my left eye. Recognizing the seriousness of what she observed, she immediately referred me to a specialist in retinal conditions. That referral led me to an advanced specialist who confirmed that the anomaly was, in fact, a melanoma -- a type of cancer. I was then referred to a surgeon in New York City who specializes in treating retinal cancer. The treatment involved a cutting-edge procedure in which a radioactive disc was placed on my eye. Fortunately, because of Dr. Kaiser's timely detection and insistence that I seek further evaluation, the cancer had not metastasized to other parts of my body. Her vigilance and dedication made it possible to treat the condition before it became life-threatening. My check in was effortless and I waited only a few minutes before being called. Dr. Paul and his assistant coordinated a thorough examination, the best I've ever experienced, and I was finished very quickly. I mistakenly left my contact lenses and case behind and it was discarded for hygiene reasons. The front desk was more than accommodating as they offered me a new case, solution and a trial pair of lenses to replace those discarded. Superb service. I only regret I didn't become a patient years ago!
