no avocado to be found :(

This place has ok food, but frequently messes up orders. I've let the last few slide but now feel the need to call this problem out. Today they missed the avocado I paid extra for. Order details: Order #a7ce79e7 1x Large (8 oz) Wild Salmon, Wild Salmon, Scallop, Shrimp (Cooked), Cilantro, Edamame, Green Onion, Kale, Sweet Onion, Avocado, Ponzu, Spring Mix, Seaweed Salad, Crab Salad, Ginger I

The Poke Bar menu speaks to me especially the O.G. All looks interesting

The last day at the Twitter or X ( call what you want ) building , what still remains after years in this building is one of my favorite bars in the city which serves one of my favorite drink that has juice but they don't serve alcohol here. The Poke Bar has been inside here for years and has served up some of the best poke bowls to my customization as I built my own bowl. My go to order would be a double scoop of salmon, spicy crab ( imitation) , double scoop of scallops, and spicy tuna. This would include some orange eggs (masago), seaweed salad and slices of avocado . Underneath it would be two scoops of rice on top it would be crispy garlic and crispy onion. Then top it all off some spicy mayo and Furikake seasoning . So many items at this bar to order you can get carried away. My new order is the O.G( I can relate) Poke. The O.G is a fish lovers bowl since it only comes with ahi tuna and sweet onion ( not too sweet) green onions and extra masago( fish eggs) and topped with Furikake Seasoning. I like to adding the sesame seeds, crispy garlic and crispy onion. I wash it all down with the tasty Cantaloupe juice. They also offer a Hibiscus juice. A good bar you shouldn't pass up. Like the logo at the Poke Bar reads get dice & mix or mix & dice Add some scoops of fish, crispy onion, the sauce, masago, and then the rice

Poke Bar is one of my favorite poke spots. Good fresh fish and toppings. Salmon and spicy tuna FTW. Sad to see how desolate this area is now.

I have been here twice within a week! So far, it is the closest place I have found near City Hall if I am in the mood for "sushi" at a decent price. The fact they are located in The Market helps ( bunch of other hot food options at other vendors). So much seating availability to people watch and enjoy your meal. Also great for grab n go. Fish quality is good! I am happy with the topping/ sauce selections.

Came by during lunch to grab some food. They do poke bowls pretty well. A little hard to find since it's inside The Market next to the Twitter building. Wasn't too crowded and the food was very filling. I ordered 2 scoops with mixed greens, imitation crab, seaweed salad, salmon, green onions, corn, edamame, crispy garlic and crispy onions topped with spicy mayo.

Medium Bowl. Octopus, Shrimp, Albacore, Crab, Seaweed Salad. House dressing.

It's 5:45pm and I've not eaten today. My beauty parlor appointment is across the street at 6:15pm. Poke Bar was open. Really a 3 star meal. Now I am accustomed to Hawai'i poke. I prefer the toppings marinated. But my medium bowl was okay. Gained 1 star for very helpful service.

Reservice try to avoid of plantar rush because everyone from the Twitter building and surrounding office is coming between 1145 and 115 They are open after Covid and ready o help. Fresh bowls. Very generous servings and helpful staff. My favorite is the firecracker

** The following review reflects my experience prior to the shelter-in-place order currently in effect. ** Poke when they up, poke when they down, poke all around. In the time of COVID-19, a poke bowl represents needed comfort one bite of fresh seafood at a time. With all those pricey food items crowded together between narrow aisles, the Market on Market is not the most conducive place for social distancing while digesting, but the $13.75 Medium Bowl provides hearty goodness and nice variety in one fell swoop. Three proteins come with the order, and I chose tuna, salmon, and the imitation crab meat. Drizzled with ponzu and mixed with veggies, I chose a sprinkling of peanuts for no rationale reason except I like peanuts. The key differentiator for me was the ability to order kale noodles instead of rice to tamp down the carbs (photo: https://bit.ly/3dGYJrW). The combination worked for me before the pandemic, so I assume it'll work for me afterward. FOOD - 4 stars...a big bowl of poke satisfies my lower-end sashimi fix AMBIANCE - 3 stars...kinda claustrophobic but take it to go now SERVICE - 3.5 stars...efficient TOTAL - 4 stars...poke when I'm up, poke when I'm down RELATED - Hungry in this part of SoMa? The location was a little difficult to find given the COVID precautions (they are controlling the flow by specifying doors for entrance and doors for exit). I love the setup of this bar! You can see a little figure of Maui from Moana! They also have a poster showing the beautiful smiles of their staffs. I ordered Firecracker through MealPal. It was flavorful and spicy, just like the name! Will visit again if I happen to be in the area and am looking for a place for a quick bite.

Solid poke place! I first tried poke bar at their Berkeley location, and subsequent visits other locations have never let me down. I love the freshness of their fish and how colorful everything is!

Medium bowl was around $16 with tax and tip

It wasn't my favorite poke place, but it was definitely one of the most convenient. I think it's still good if you're looking for a quick meal and need to take it with you. The pros: The poke itself was good. The fish tasted fresh and definitely wasn't sinewy or hard in any parts. Albacore was solid. Convenient: it's inside The Market on the right of the entrance towards the end, which is close to a lot of the big landmarks and our hotel. For convenience alone, it gets a pretty good standing with me. Cons: San Fran prices. I felt that $16 for a medium with tip and all was a lot, considering that other downtown poke places in Seattle and LA are close to $11 for the same size and without some issues that I'm about to list. Lettuce: This sucked. Mine tasted old and hard, and I just didn't eat the lettuce here at all. Service was just wack. The ladies looked unhappy to even be there and just gave off some bad energy throughout the whole thing. I get that y'all have to work fast but at least have a mood to cheer customers up, not bring them down. Aesthetic: The bowl is pretty ugly for the most part. This doesn't affect my score of it since that is mostly affected by the price, lettuce and service, but man, it looked unappetizing when I got the finished product lol. If you want it to look good, have designated places to put certain toppings rather than dumping everything on top of one another. I have a peeve where a poke bowl should look organized and not masago dumped over the crab, which just looks like puke to me. Overall, decent poke for being convenient but I don't think it's worth making a trip here if you're far away unless you're at a hotel or work near here.

Poké Bar is definitely one of my favorite poké spots in the city. Poké Bar is located inside "The Market" on Market Street right by the Twitter building. It is available to order through DoorDash and Caviar for delivery and pick up which is definitely a plus. I usually order a medium sized bowl (create your own bowl) with white rice, crab, seaweed and add on their fresh salmon, tuna, scallops, avocado as well as other variety food selections such as spicy mayo, ponzu, edamame, jalapeños and other toppings they offer. Their salmon, tuna and scallops are my absolute favorite simply because it tastes fresh and so mouthwatering that I can never order my bowl without these items. If you plan on eating in there, just know that there is small location where you can sit down and eat but beware-- lunch time is usually busy and tables are very limited! Which is why I recommend ordering online for pick up or delivery. Over the years, their poké never disappoints and I'm always satisfied after I devour the entire bowl! I continuously recommend this spot to friends and family and will keep doing so.

Soo good. This place is a little hard to find though you have to go through a building then into the market. Customer service wasn't great :/ but the ahi tuna was amazing so 4 stars!

We had recently visited Japan and were interested to see if we'd find some of our favorite products here and were happily surprised were there. They have a large selection of prepared foods, including some incredible looking sushi (I wish we had bought some). The cold drinks had a great selection of options with some hard to find flavors and brands. From the produce to meat, seafood, and shelf stable items, it was overwhelming how much this store had. I loved the wide variety of candies and snacks. We picked up some new-to-us and some familiar items while we were here. I also picked up some spices and ingredients that are harder to find. The pricing on everything was very fair, and considering that a lot of these items are imported and not always easy to source, I was so excited!
