poke tacos

love poke in any form and it's nice that pokitomik serves it in 3! you can get a bowl, burrito, or tacos and they will all be good (yes I've tried them all)! the bowl is standard and filling. the burrito is fun and v pic-worthy. but my fav has to be the tacos! the crisp tempura shell w the fish + toppings go so well together! it can get messy, but so worth it! the fish has always been fresh from what I've tasted but I also only get salmon so I can only speak on that... the sweet salmon was p good but since I'm adding sauce on at the end, I feel like it's too much I also love the variety of toppings they offer as a person who loves fruits & hot Cheetos in their poke bowl! they also don't skimp on their portions from my experience which is a bonus! def a solid poke spot for me. I just hate the little parking lot it's located in but glad I've been able to find parking every time! workers there are also v nice and quick so I def appreciate that!

Got the burrito with double salmon and a Hot Cheeto exterior ($17). Service was quick and everything came out fast. Toppings tasted fresh, and I really appreciated how well they filled the burrito. Only downside is parking, which can be a bit of a hassle due to the small lot. Overall, a solid spot and worth a try.

We were here last week and ordered the same fish and everything and it was yummy, but unfortunately this time it wasn't good. The fish didn't taste good at all, it tasted rancid, and it affected the entire two bowls... so we ate some of the toppings but the picture below is what is left over. Super disappointing. This was an unfortunate way to spend $40.

Pokitomik might be my new fave poke spots in the valley. I was a huge fan of the flavors, options, and portion sizes. They don't skimp out on their servings. There's many many different options for toppings (including mango, heck ya). Some places don't offer mango so I appreciate that. They have many different sauces that go on top too. I got the hawaiian habanero which was spicy!!! But very good. Spicy tuna was good. Salmon was good. Everything felt super fresh. The customer service was super friendly. Prices were normal for poke. I would 100% go back, it was literally bomb diggity.

The food here is really good this is my go to place for Poke. The staff are very nice and it's very welcoming. The place isn't usually to busy so it's a nice place to hang out and it's nice that it's so close the CSUN.

The best poke place in the Valley! Staff is very friendly and attentive, providing extra sauces when asked, and being generous with their portions. My bowl has never disappointed. Vibes are great as well, I always feel very comfortable and welcomed when dining in.

First time here, and I was really happy with my poke bowl! There were so many options to choose from, which made it easy to customize exactly what I wanted. The workers were kind, helpful, and gave great recommendations. The ahi tuna and sweet salmon were both fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I also liked that they offer poke burritos and poke tacos for something different. I'll definitely be back!

Yummy delicious Poke! Whenever you're in the mood, I would really recommend coming here. Has a space to sit down and eat there however I will say the parking is a little tricky there because of how small the space is. Otherwise the staff are so friendly and helpful!

Hello. Do you cook salmon upon requests?

No they don't serve cooked salmon here.

Difference between salmon and sweet salmon?

Hey Brooke! That's a great question! Thank you for the question. Salmon is just regular ol' salmon no marination or anything extra. Sweet Salmon on the other hand is enhanced with a little eel sauce, sesame seeds. It has a rich sweet taste very…

The lamb was just okay, but still decent for the price. I stocked up on spinach and enoki mushrooms, which were both fresh and included in the AYCE rate. The sauce bar was spotless and well-maintained. I mixed up the chili sauce with some chili oil, and it hit the spot. I also grabbed a Large Milk Tea with Boba for an extra $5, it definitely hit the sweet spot while dipping hot pot items! Service was quick, and the staff brought out extra meat orders right away whenever we asked. I came in for the lunch special, since I'm pescatarian, I asked our waiter if the soup broth for the Miso base had meat to which he replied he wasn't sure. I asked the same for the Tom Yum to which he replied "No it doesn't" so I ordered it. It was fun to go to the self serve stations to pick up my toppings, everything was neat, organized and clean. The entire process was fun and interactive, the place itself has a very cool vibe to it as well. I also ordered a Jasmine Green Tea that was delicious & refreshing. Unfortunately, the fun stopped there. I was glancing the menu as I was almost done eating just for fun when I noticed under the soups section it said "all broths contain pork" but I figured it was fine since I had confirmed with our waiter that the broth I chose had no meat. Just to be certain, I asked him again, I said "the Tom Yum broth doesn't contain pork right?" to which he replied "Yes it does because all our broths do." I'm not sure what the miscommunication was but this experience really left me feeling blind sighted & quite frankly upset... I understand I missed it on the menu but I did verify with our waiter who gave me false information. Overall, extremely disappointing for me, I've been pescatarian for 11 years, this situation should have been avoided.

It was quite a trek to get here. It's in the middle of the west Valley. No easy freeway access…read more There's quite a few businesses in this strip mall. Parking spaces are super tiiiiiiight. I didn't see any ADA parking at all. We were happy with what we got. Pork belly with umami gravy bowl and added 4 pc "eggroll" aka lumpia. It was really 2 lumpia cut in half. I probably should have ordered a full side but it was a perfect amount. Lumpia was super crispy on the outside. Very flavorful without being overly garlicky or seasoned. Came with sweet chili sauce. Chicken longanisa. It said ground chicken so I was expecting crumbled meat. It was formed into a patty. Very tender and delicious. Also served on rice with egg over easy, scallions and pickled vegetable. Since it was our first time here I got the two bun combo with pork belly and angus burger. Pork belly had a little kick in the sauce. The bao bun was a nice compliment so it wasn't too spicy. 2 slices of cucumber also in the bun to help cut the spice. The angus burger had a creamy mayo sauce with sautéed mushrooms and half cooked onions. Not what I expected but definitely would get again. The side of fries were thin, crispy and very well seasoned. There's not a lot of counter service. You order at a machine. I had to wait because I wanted a printed receipt. As far as I could see, only 2 people working. They brought our food to the table and that guy was very nice and cordial as we asked for a few more things. No one was eating there. Saw about 3 people order take out. Plenty of tables and a picnic table for seating. I definitely loved the wall decor and the clock was my favorite! They had Chinese, Korean and Japanese on the wall. I didn't see any Tagalog where I was sitting but I think that's the main Asian influence.

We decided on Oi Asian which had great reviews, so why not. First off, let me say that there is plenty of parking, however, the parks are extremely narrow for some reason. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car due to the width of the parks smh. Anyway, once we got inside, there wasn't anyway at the register and after standing there for a while, I noticed the kiosk so unplaced my order there. There were only two cooks in the back. We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5

We called and placed a phone order on Saturday morning around 11:30am. We ordered the bulgogi…read moreritto, and the fried shrimp ritto. The woman on the phone gave us an estimated wait time of 10 minutes. When we arrived, we quickly noticed how small the parking lot was. There were only two spots opened. I'm not sure what it would have looked like if we came during rush hour, but at least there was spots for us to park in. When we got inside it was pretty small with about 15 seats available for dine in. There was one other party there at the same time we were. Once we paid, we saw the fried shrimp coming from out of the kitchen, so we knew ours were almost ready since they just needed to wrap them up. This place was the definition of a local mom and pop business. Mom was running the cash register, and Pop was in the kitchen. They were two of the sweetest people. She even came out to the dining area to hand us our food, rather than screaming at us from behind the counter. We drove home (5 mins away), and I unpacked the food to find that each box was labeled. It probably wasn't necessary since we could very clearly see which was shrimp and which was bulgogi but I appreciated the small touches. My partner and I each had one half of the shrimp and one half of the bulgogi and it as unanimous that our favorite was the fried shrimp. They do include a sauce that has the slightest kick, but in my opinion it was the best kind of spicy where it isn't painful and it's actually quite pleasant, complimenting the fried shrimp very well. Overall - we are so glad we tried this little local spot. The fried shrimp ritto was so good, I want to try other items, but I know I'll be craving that fried shrimp ritto again.

I called in to order takeout of a fried chicken and bulgogi "ritto" for two. It was a fast, delicious lunch! A 'ritto is a "burrito" style wrap-- white rice with seasoned protein, kimchi, special mayo, + optional chili all wrapped in Korean seaweed. The burrito itself is a bit fragile since it's large and the seaweed is the nice thin kind, so it's nice to eat it with a fork over a plate/box so you don't miss any bites I like a seaweed wrap which is fewer carbs than a flour/corn tortilla. The white rice is fluffy and sticky (all good things). The special mayo did it for me. The lettuce (romaine?) was crispy and fresh. There's space to sit inside if you want to dine in, and parking is easy as there's a lot. Located at the corner of Saticoy and Winnetka. Price is comparable to other protein-packed sandwiches in the Valley. And I like supporting local businesses that make yummy food. Looking forward to coming back soon.
