I recently discovered Ahipoke and it's a really nice place to be able to get some healthy food. The staff is really nice and friendly especially Beto. Everything always looks very fresh and clean. Their prices are a little bit on the high side, especially if you only get tofu as the protein. I would like to request that they create a different policy around the amount of tofu they use or the price they charge for it.

One word for this restaurant, AWESOME!! Every item on the menu is fresh, healthy and delicious. My tuna salad was DELICIOUS! The employees which assisted me were very outgoing, and friendly. Plenty of seating is available inside and outside and parking is available to the side and to the rear of the restaurant.

I would say the photos on here look better than what it really is. Ahipoki is not bad, but it's not great either. Their fish was good, but they are a bit stingy with their portions so I wouldn't recommend getting a small. I personally really don't like it when poke spots just put all the toppings on top of the bowl, I like everything mixed in like poke. I had to ask for a lot of sauce since it wasn't mixed in and only drizzled on top. Again, the place was ok, I personally will not be back, I couldn't recommend it, but anyone who comes would not have an awful experience. Their service was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, they even offer samples of the fix to try their different poke flavors.

They offer a wide variety of flavored proteins that I haven't seen at other poke spots. I highly recommend trying the sweet tuna! The customer service was excellent. The girl who helped me was super friendly and even let me sample the proteins before choosing, which made the decision so much easier. The area was clean, and overall the experience was a solid 10/10!

I got a poke bowl from here yesterday and it was really delicious! A huge variety of toppings which I really liked. It was just so flavorful! A little skimpy on the meat portions (salmon and spicy tuna) but I didn't mind too much bc there were so many other toppings to make up for it. However if you're more of a meat person like my brother then you'll probably be let down by that. I ordered delivery so can't comment on the service or ambiance.

The portion looks big at first because it's served in a wide bowl, but it's actually a bit shallow, so it can be a bit of an illusion compared to other poke spots at the same price. I didn't really like the taste of the fish--it looked fresh, but it didn't taste that way.

Mini bowl with 1 mini scoop of spicy salmon $9

First time here so I got the mini bowl. It came with one small scoop of protein. I got the spicy salmon. Brown rice and mixed green base. The brown rice was well cooked and moist. I also got the imitation crab and edamame. I asked for spicy mayo but didn't have much on my bowl. Place is clean and modern. Nice seating inside and outside. Overall I enjoyed my food but thought they were too skimpy on the protein. I will be back to try the spam masubi!

Tried this spot since it's all over town. Walked in and picked my fish on those big trays. Went for 3 scoops but wow...each scoop was so tiny I could barely see it. You guys can do better. The kimchi tasted kinda off too. Other than that, the flavors were good. Just wish they weren't so skimpy on the fish.

Despite it being a busy spot, we were seated right away, which is a huge plus when you have little ones in tow! The Drinks & Starters We started with the Horchata and the Pineapple Water (Agua de Piña). Both were refreshing, authentic, and clearly made with care. If you like traditional Mexican drinks, these are a must-try. The Food Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and felt incredibly fresh. A standout for us was the homemade corn tortillas--you can really taste the difference! Our table shared: * Mojarra & Pescado al Mojo de Ajo: Perfectly cooked and seasoned. * Lobster Plate: Succulent and generous. * Surf & Turf Tacos: These were a highlight! Loaded with carne asada and creamy guacamole, then topped with perfectly grilled shrimp. Each plate comes with rice, beans, and a side salad, but they are super flexible--we were able to substitute fries for the rice and beans on some plates, which is great for picky eaters or just a change of pace. Service & Atmosphere The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center, so parking was easy to find, which takes the stress out of the arrival. Even though the dining room was buzzing and busy, our waitress was incredibly nice and the entire staff was well-attended to our needs. Bottom line: If you're looking for delicious, flavorful seafood in a family-friendly environment, Marisco Corona is the place to go. We will definitely be back!

That side is named Kusina Ni Kuya and has a vast catering menu. I came here for a carry out from the Cajun side and picked as I did before, the half pound shrimp. The only difference is this time, I opted for the peeled version. This was prepared in the house Kuya sauce, medium spicy, with an extra of boiled okra. The dish did not disappoint and was consistent in texture and flavor, and a glorious mixture of spices as before. This entrée has a lot of oil added to it, but that is what brings out this burst of taste and satisfaction. Everything was soaked with the thick sauce. This time what I did at home was, I boiled a few golden premium small potatoes with skin, sliced them into quarters and added it to the mix. Once it soaked up the gravy of the shrimp dish, the potatoes ascended to a totally different level. So how does the peeled version compare to the whole shrimp version? I would say that the whole shrimp selection is the way to go. The meat is not overcooked and you get the flavor off the shrimp shells too, that kicks it up more than a notch. In addition, the fact that you have to use your fingers to get to the shrimp meat (though messy), heightens the pleasure of the dining experience.
