I had both the Grilled Salmon Bowl and the Volcano Shrimp Bowl, and both were absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked really well. The salmon was especially tasty, and the shrimp had a great flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and really enjoyed the outdoor seating. Overall, a great experience with delicious food and excellent service. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Great place for poke bowls! Online ordering is easy and convenient - select your base, proteins, other toppings, and sauces. Ready in about 15 min. I always get 1/2 salad and 1/2 brown rice for my base. 2 scoops of protein is plenty for me, and they're good amounts. I was surprised by how big my bowl was when I first ordered. Everything tasted fresh and healthy. I wish the online ordering and menu included descriptions of the proteins and sauces. I had to look at pictures to guess what's in a "Tuna Lava" or "Tuna Luau" (trying to avoid onions). It's a casual place with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of free parking shared with LA Fitness and the other restaurants here. Location is next to 5 Guys and Makenna Koffee. read more

It's just okay but great if you want a poke fix. Portion sizing is not that great. On my pic I know it looks crazy but that's after I had just shook it up to give the mixed affect. You can see the bowl is only half full and that's kinda me being generous read more

Love their portions and the ingredients are fresh. I ordered online and it was super easy. The only down side was that they forgot my thai iced tea drink with my order. Aside from that, my meal was delicious and I enjoyed every bite! read more

Ahipoki is a solid option for poke in the area and it definitely satisfied my poke cravings. I stopped by around 12 PM and it was pretty packed given that it was lunch hour. Service was just okay and as they were busy, it took a while for my bowl to be prepared, but the food was great and I would highly consider coming back if going to my usual poke spot wasn't an option. It was pretty lively in there but there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They do skimp out on the fish and toppings a bit, but again if I was really craving poke and I was in the area, I'd stop by. read more

I love this food, but the people that work here they just seem like they're in bad mood every time, don't expect nothing else but to get my food, and they seem to not like their job, poor costumer service. read more

I've been here as my "Go-to" poke spot! It's close and convenient! Tons of parking around here. I will Centro come back, wish they had longer hours though! read more

I recently discovered Ahipoke and it's a really nice place to be able to get some healthy food. The staff is really nice and friendly especially Beto. Everything always looks very fresh and clean. Their prices are a little bit on the high side, especially if you only get tofu as the protein. I would like to request that they create a different policy around the amount of tofu they use or the price they charge for it. read more

While, I love Ahipoki. This is not the store that has the best service. I tend to go to the store in Sylmar/San Fernando and they have much better service than here. The food quality and the options are relatively good and I truly enjoyed them. One of the things that I do not enjoy is bad customer service. For the most part when I order a bowl, I ask this server to please sprinkle the veggies all over the bowl since in most cases, they make little piles of vegetables here and there and you eat it , you just get spoonfuls of onion or whatever vegetable that is. This is not the first time I asked for the veggies to be sprinkled all over the bowl, and I tend to have a positive reaction. Unfortunately, today that was not the case and I got a bad attitude from the girl and just kinda threw the vegetables on the bowl. Additionally, there's been plenty of times where I show up and they're behind the counter and they don't acknowledge you until they decide that they wanna deal with you. Overall, its a nice place but customer service tends not to betheir best feature. read more

One word for this restaurant, AWESOME!! Every item on the menu is fresh, healthy and delicious. My tuna salad was DELICIOUS! The employees which assisted me were very outgoing, and friendly. Plenty of seating is available inside and outside and parking is available to the side and to the rear of the restaurant. read more

I'd like to second the last review. I actually love coming this restaurant, but not this particular establishment. The last couple of times I've been here the service has been terrible! The workers are young girls who seem annoyed every time you order, they tend to roll their eyes and don't even like to acknowledge you until they want even though the place is empty. I understand how it's like to be young and work food service, but this is an extreme turn off. It's never that deep, but I'm willing to take the extra drive to go to the other location by San Fernando simply for the good customer service. read more

This place is pretty good. I stumbled on this location while checking out the gym nearby. You can customize your bowls. I got the Volcano Shrimp bowl but instead of rice, I got greens and kelp noodles. You can add as many toppings as you want and I have to say it was great meal. I got the spicy sauce, seaweed, kimchi and jalapeños as well. Service was friendly and efficient and the dress code is casual. It's a great place to eat a lighter meal that's satisfying in a short amount of time. I will definitely be coming back soon. read more

Tried this spot since it's all over town. Walked in and picked my fish on those big trays. Went for 3 scoops but wow...each scoop was so tiny I could barely see it. You guys can do better. The kimchi tasted kinda off too. Other than that, the flavors were good. Just wish they weren't so skimpy on the fish. read more

I would say the photos on here look better than what it really is. Ahipoki is not bad, but it's not great either. Their fish was good, but they are a bit stingy with their portions so I wouldn't recommend getting a small. I personally really don't like it when poke spots just put all the toppings on top of the bowl, I like everything mixed in like poke. I had to ask for a lot of sauce since it wasn't mixed in and only drizzled on top. Again, the place was ok, I personally will not be back, I couldn't recommend it, but anyone who comes would not have an awful experience. Their service was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, they even offer samples of the fix to try their different poke flavors. read more

I got a poke bowl from here yesterday and it was really delicious! A huge variety of toppings which I really liked. It was just so flavorful! A little skimpy on the meat portions (salmon and spicy tuna) but I didn't mind too much bc there were so many other toppings to make up for it. However if you're more of a meat person like my brother then you'll probably be let down by that. I ordered delivery so can't comment on the service or ambiance. read more

They offer a wide variety of flavored proteins that I haven't seen at other poke spots. I highly recommend trying the sweet tuna! The customer service was excellent. First time here so I got the mini bowl. It came with one small scoop of protein. I got the spicy salmon. Brown rice and mixed green base. The brown rice was well cooked and moist. I also got the imitation crab and edamame. I asked for spicy mayo but didn't have much on my bowl. Place is clean and modern. Nice seating inside and outside. Overall I enjoyed my food but thought they were too skimpy on the protein. I will be back to try the spam masubi! read more

The portion looks big at first because it's served in a wide bowl, but it's actually a bit shallow, so it can be a bit of an illusion compared to other poke spots at the same price. I didn't really like the taste of the fish--it looked fresh, but it didn't taste that way. read more

This lady that was working in the front making my bowl was by herself and the way she was speaking was very stand offish and rude, and she gave me small portions and the person behind me regular ones, maybe I'm tripping but she put a wrong ingredient and complained by saying she couldn't hear me instead of asking me what I said she offered to make a brand new bowl because she said that she can just take it home, and btw I eat poke around the valley and have never had a bad experience like this I am never coming here again. Ahi poke is very delicious. Every time I go in there there is one employee that makes the difference and makes the trip so pleasant. His name is Marlon. He is very friendly and so kind. He makes you feel like you are having dinner in his home and he's very very hospitable. Marlon is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to Ahipoki. Started out as a delicious place to eat , but lately I've noticed the staff not giving a ****. There's a short woman that works here that is always grumpy and talking **** about the customers(in Spanish). And there's a heavy guy that works here that serves food without gloves on.... Gross. Perhaps management can rectify this behavior. Won't be buying from this place anymore..... read more

So after training at LA Fitness right next to ahipoki, I walked in to wrap a bike for me. In my end, after walking in and seeing one person in line, we stood there for about 3 minutes and unfortunately, no one acknowledged or said, 1 minute or we'll be right with you. So I started talking to the other guy in line, and he said, sometimes it's a pitiful weight, but I told him the only problem with that is there as actually nobody in line. So I waited a few more minutes. Fortunately to still nobody coming up and asking us what we would like to eat. And left I know restaurants get busy sometimes around lunch or dinner. But when there's nobody in line and you still cannot serve the 2 people that are in line, I think there's something wrong with the business model or the manager or the employees, unfortunately, they won't get my business, but hopefully they can learn from this and I guess at least acknowledge people once they walk in. Especially if they're not busy , I gave them to stars because the food actually looked good , but I guess I'll never know read more

The food at Ahipoki is clean and healthy! I usually get the salmon (bowl). You can pick which items you want in your bowl/ plate. The salmon, if you ask for them to not overcook it, is really good!!!! I recommend this place if you want healthy Asian food for under $20. The staff here is good. Easy and free parking at the one I go to on Balboa. read more

Hands down one of the best poke places in the valley! Enjoyed the kimchi shrimp really good! Definitely will be coming back again.

Usually come here during the week during lunchtime and it's super busy and they have a lot of employees running the line however swung by today and it was absolutely empty with two employees working so you would expect good service however they let us stand there for almost 5 minutes without a single acknowledgment - no welcome in or hello until finally the guy Who looks like the manager decided to come over only when he decided the other worker wasn't going to help us. There are a lot of poke places around here so if they want to keep Business they should at least be welcoming to those who come to spend money especially when it isn't cheap. read more

I ordered the 3 scoops bowl with white rice. My choice of fish were the spicy tuna, albacore and yellowtail. My toppings included cucumber, mango, jalapeños, onions, and edamame. The rice was so nice and fresh very warm and cooked to perfection! The fish were so fresh tasting I am a sucker for spicy tuna and this spicy tuna was so delicious I wanted to order some extra on the side! I felt the portions were very fair and the staff very kind and patient with me while I was licking my toppings. These jalapeños were no joke though! They got me spiced out! I loved the inside as well there were these dividers by each table which gave privacy between people which I liked. I also love the little plaza this place is in because there is a giant lot where people can park. read more
