This is by far my favorite poke place in OC! It's been years since my husband and I have been back to PokiNometry and man did we miss it. The quality really is the best and if we didn't live in LA, we would make it a weekly meal (at least!!)! We each ordered our own poke bowl. My husband got the large while I got the medium. About the same amount of rice with the only difference being the number of choices of protein you're able to choose and you get a bit more in the large. We were both very stuffed at the end of our meal. Sauce options are really good; just be cautious of their spicy sauce cause it's really got a kick to it! Atmosphere is chill and the service still remains just as wonderful as I remember it being when they first opened. I'm so glad to see this spot still open and going strong after many years. My husband just wanted me to have anything that would make me happy. That moment in time, it was poke. Service was okay. The inside looks old and sad. Old favorites, like old habits, die hard. I find myself coming back to Pokinometry time and time again, despite various issues over time. There is something uniquely tasty about the poké they serve up here. Of all the variations on the poke bowl model, PokiNometry is simply the best. By now, everyone is familiar with the "assembly line" style poke bar with different ingredients for your bowl. For the base, they offer white rice, brown rice, or salad. You can also add thin cucumber slices, avocado, seaweek salad, jalepenos, and onions. Then you have your choice of the different kinds of fish, including tuna, salmon, albacore, yellowtail, shrimp, or scallops. Followed by your sauce of choice and spiciness, with garnishes of ginger, wasabe, green onion, sesame seeds, and other toppings. The sauce is the best here by far, and at this point I've been to many, many, many other places. It's really the best and hard to say what about it is so tasty but there it is. Everyone loves it. Portions can vary depending on who is working, but that's just how it goes. Sometimes you will barely get anything; other times, plenty. Parking can be a bit limited and wonky on the street as there really is no parking lot. There is one about a block and half away but usually that is full, like the street. Been going here for many years and lately it has been pretty good with the serving size, quality, and speed of our orders. Typically my go to place for poke. Gave a lower rating because the serving size looks drastically smaller. Not sure if it's just because I ordered to-go, but was disappointed. Meal was good! Consistency with rice and toppings were good. Parking is typically difficult because of you either park on the street or maybe the parking structure a little walk a way. I recommend bringing two people if you plan on doing to-go. Or come before parking gets too crowded. It's usually not crowded inside the restaurant when I have gone for dinner. I did order from them separate from this experience and I got sick. I left a message either through calling or email and have never heard back. Overall I like this restaurant but the location sucks. The parking situation is horrible. Parking is a challenge with limited street parking on the street. We lucked out when we went there and only got a spot because someone was leaving at the right time. However it's all good once you've secured your parking spot. And there's also a restroom available. The poke is decent and also reasonably priced. I don't write bad reviews just out of spite or for now reason. Don't drink the tap water. It's like they never cleaned it since day one. I had a sip of water and it was so bad I had to pour out the water instantly and almost spat it out. I am no where near picky about water but this taste like there is mold in the lines. I got a small amount of soda to wash the taste out of my of my mouth. The manager saw me gave me a look but didn't say anything. The next time I came in the manager saw me come to the front of the line and then acted busy doing some other work not helping me. After I was served and paid my bill. The manager tells then person who rang me up, if he takes a water and fills it with soda, charge him. I replied, "The only reason I took soda last time was because the water is disgusting, you should clean your lines." His response was we are a mom and pop place, and you can buy a water bottle. Like a few other reviewers shared it was one of the first poke spots in the Anaheim area.. since then a few newer spots have opened and I'm not sure that Pokinometry is keeping up. Bowls or burritos are offered in three sizes Small (2 scoops of fish) Medium (3 scoops) Large (4 scoops) The portion size was great, I ordered a medium with spicy tuna and received 3 heaping scoops. I tried their original "nometry sauce" and it was extremely plain. I wasn't sure there was even any sauce on the bowl. I also order a little bit of spicy mayo and also didn't notice this sauce either. A little stingy with the add ons, you can only pick 2 of the following "crabmeat, seaweed salad, or avocado" if you want all three one of them will be extra... all three of these are what make a poke bowl so I feel like they should be included.. their add in section seemed a little sad. Newer poke places have a ton of offerings like edamame, corn, pineapple, mango, ponzu sauce etc. A friend of mine ordered the sushi burrito and the staff wasn't too sure how to make the burrito, they even said so. But one of the girls behind the counter really did try her best..the burrito fell apart upon eating it, For a simple poke bowl, this place will hit the spot. The downward spiral was evident, and it began with the glaringly lackluster portion sizes. Having ordered a large poke bowl, I was dismayed to be presented with a portion so small it could be likened to a mere half fraction of my little finger. Inflation? This drastic decrease in serving size since its heyday felt like a betrayal to the loyal patrons who once frequented the establishment. Reviewing old photos on Yelp confirmed my suspicions, highlighting the stark disparity in what was once offered compared to the SKIMPY servings of today. To compound the disappointment, the issue of limited parking, with only street options available, further dampened the overall experience. In the past, the inconvenience of finding a parking spot was somewhat mitigated by the promise of an exceptional meal. Yet, the minuscule portion combined with the parking predicament rendered the entire endeavor underwhelming, to say the least. Moreover, the amazing display of free Wi-Fi as a noteworthy feature seemed somewhat out of touch in the digital age, where most establishments readily provide this amenity without fanfare. Such marketing tactics felt outdated and out of sync with the current culinary landscape. FREE WI-FI IS EVERYWHERE Regrettably, this once thriving eatery appears to have lost its way, succumbing to an unfortunate decline that has left it a shadow of its former self. While the memories of the vibrant, bustling spot remain cherished, the reality of the present day experience is a stark contrast. It is my hope that the management takes note and endeavors to reclaim the former glory that once made this place an iconic culinary destination. If you're near the Fullerton area and are craving for some poke this place is definitely worth a look. We tried the poke with the wonton chips base and brown rice, loved both of it but the best one definitely is the wonton chips base. I'm so glad this place actually uses wonton chips and not just a generic nacho chip, wonton chips tastes 1000x better w/ poke. I recommend trying the chips with salmon mixed with spicy tuna, you'll still be able to taste the salmon but the spicy tuna gives it a nice kick/spice. We also got the fried soft-shell crab as appetizer and that was pretty good as well! I thought I wasn't be full with getting a small bowl but surprisingly it was pretty filling, if you have a big appetite you might consider getting the medium or large bowl though. Overall, the salmon and spicy tuna was fresh here. No weird aftertaste (which is usually a sign that the fish is not fresh). The ONLY downside is that they have no parking lot. There is a neighborhood across from them so you'd have to park there and walk across. read more

The best thing about this place is that they have very fresh fish, but it is way too overpriced for a small poke bowl. $9.00 and the bowl was the size of my hand? Finished it in 5 minutes practically. However, the salmon and tuna was very fresh and easy to eat. They also have a good variety from yellowtail to scallops. They also had slim options for sauce. One of my toppings was supposed to be cucumber.. all I got was cucumber peels. I got no condiments. I had asked for utensils and didn't get any. pokinometry has been around for a long time and I finally had a chance to try it. Came in on a Monday and it was quiet. I got the $12 small poke bowl which was enough for me. They pack it pretty well, just a little hard to eat because it is such a small bowl. I saw back in 12/2022 a photo on yelp of the bowl pricing and the small bowl was $10.50. It's crazy that as of 05/2023 it jumped to $12. I got the albacore and the salon with their medium spicy original sauce. Their "everything" option was a little confusing to me because when she asked if I wanted everything, I thought she actually meant everything. You continue along the counter customizing your poke bowl. For a medium, you get 3 scoops of fish. I got their tuna and 2 scoops of their salmon. I noticed they have miso soup, but it's from a self-serve container by the soft drinks, so it doesn't seem to be the freshest. There's lot of seating inside if you want to dine in.
