I have been really loving eating poke with my wife and have been going all around OC looking for good places. First time here after seeing some great reviews and glad to say that this place is legit. There are so many fresh ingredients to choose from and the interior vibe is very different (cool) from other poke places. What's really for us is that they serve kid friendly meals like Udon, bulgogi rice, etc. so we can bring our kids with us without worry. This place is awesome. What place offers take out only - but makes you feel like a valued customer and guest. My kids love the owner Daniel, and he does a great job memorizing our order. Recently, a new hire was clearly not up to speed and messed up my order by over charging - Daniel the owner rectified immediately. He did better than apologize - just walked right in and took care of it without me saying anything. Owner is great and i don't blame the new help. Perfect place to get poke if you're a cypress student, it's down the street so you're not to far from campus, the food is great and at a reasonable price, chill environment, friendly associates. They are very welcoming so it's not intimidating if it's your first time at this place. Possibly the best poke spot in my area! I've been coming here since it opened and I come out with a happy tummy every time! I ordered a bowl with salmon and albacore. They're not stingy with portions. Fish to rice ratio is always on point! I never find myself eating more rice than fish, which is a big deal for me. Always tastes fresh! Best poki roll place I've come across so far in the Cypress area. Highly recommend the large poki bowl for the best bang for your buck. The combo with a small poki bowl and a roll of choice is also a nice way to mix things up. However, their other stuff doesnt really live up to the hype. The bento combo I got with a spicy tuna roll and chicken katsu has a lot of fluff with a side salad, a little pot sticker, and a small bowl of miso soup. The katsu didn't come with curry sauce as shown in the menu with a light drizzle with teriyaki. There was not a lot of meat with a ton of rice. However, I've heard its not bad to just get katsu by itself, so hopefully that lives up to my expectations. Overall, very good poki with other underwhelming options. read more

Ordered for a pick up and the portion is pretty small; doesnt fill the container like other stores but I think they are a dollar cheaper than other poki stores which explains it(?) but most importantly, they forgot to put salmon in the poki bowl...and i ordered the small size that has 2 fish types in it and they forgot one of the types lol And it's hard not to recognize salmon because of its color so Im pretty sure I dont see salmon. (Maybe that is why the portion seemed very small). Im too lazy to go back to get salmon so im not gonna call them again or anything, but it was too pricey for a one fish type small bowl. I hate giving out bad reviews but sheesh. Came here with my husband, they weren't busy. There was one person in front of us and another online order. But it took them a while to greet us and ask what we wanted to order. While ordering my husband, who is Korean, heard the older gentleman tell the younger guy to "not to give the online order so much" that just shows the character of the restaurant. Ordering online you get charged more and now you're being cheated on the portions. I felt like they didn't give good portions to us we kept asking for extra. And it was an awkward atmosphere. Cool spot with nice seating styles depending on what you're feeling.. Got the Baked Salmon Roll and California Rolls were $1.99 with social media check in. Both items were legit. $1.99 really got my attention, will definitely be back. They also weren't stingy with soy sauces to go and other sauces I asked for ponzu/eel, they didn't get annoyed and came around opened the bag and placed inside for me. The people here are so friendly and they have a solid selection of toppings to choose for poke bowls. They even have secluded rooms in case you have a study group with friends. I had their chicken teriyaki bowl and also tried their bulgogi bowl and they were both BEYOND AWFUL. They should take them off the menu. They dressed the bowls with TOO MUCH teriyaki sauce and didn't even ask if they wanted the sauce on the side and the so-called bulgogi bowl was filled with fat and tough to chew on. The chicken was SOOOOOO DRY, it must have been days old, reheated and used for my lunch. I'm really hoping this place isn't Korean owned, because if they are, I will need to take their Korean card away for the worst bulgogi ever. NEVER AGAIN. read more

My mom rates this a 5, I rate it a high 4.5. It's a little hard to find since the sign is partially obscured from the street, and there's not a sign for it on the main plaza sign (what gives with that?), so keep your eyes peeled! I haven't been to a poke place yet, but it seems straightforward in their make-your-own offerings, and I was appreciative that they had other options and combos as well. Service was great - they walked us through each "section" of making a poke bowl and were very patient with our many questions. Onto the food. For the poke bowl, my mom and I ordered a medium half and half bowl (salad and brown rice) with salmon, tuna, and octopus, with all of the additions (I honestly can't remember all of them) and medium sauce (super tasty - I'm not a huge spicy person, so this was tolerable but tingly). I see why people were complaining about small scoops, but we didn't have any issues with too little fish. We also ordered the udon with a base roll (the crunchy roll) to share, which was nice. Udon is pretty generic, but the noodles were just a touch too hard still (ymmv, I like my noodles softer). Crunchy roll was fresh with both the rice and the shrimp tempura slightly warm. My fiancé ordered the bulgogi bowl and enjoyed that a lot as well - the amount of beef seemed a little small, but he seemed happy with it and there was enough to share some, too. Overall, really affordable (about $10pp) eat with fairly good quality - we left feeling full and satisfied. Props to the service for being so patient, as well as basically doing table service (they bring food to the table, and they're also very nice about packaging orders to go, I noticed). I can see how this is popular with the college crowd - there's two private group rooms, as well as ample casual seating. My only complaints were the packaging - in-house miso soup came in styrofoam containers and the poke bowls were in plastic containers, but then they served the udon and the roll on ceramic platters and gave us ceramic plates to share with? I feel like it would make it a lot more cohesive to ask if someone were dining in/taking out and using dishware based on that. Also related: the use of both left our group confused about whether we were supposed to clean up ourselves to let them do it? We ended up leaving it because someone else did, but we weren't sure. read more
