Poki Roll has been around for a while, but it was only through yelp that I was able to find it. This spot is a small, family-owned business. The best value is their "special combo", which is a small poke bowl with a "base roll" for $15.50. I upgraded to a medium bowl and my "roll" was a crunch roll. With their poke bowls, their small bowl is two scoops of protein, their medium bowl is three scoops of protein, and their large bowl is 5 scoops of protein. I have to say that I enjoyed my roll and my bowl, but my issue is that the scoops of protein are on the smaller side. The scoop is about the size of a knob of butter on a stack of pancakes. I was waffling between three stars and four. Even though I felt that what I ordered was delicious, I ultimately felt that the value and food experience was simply OK, which is three stars in the yelp scale. I do think that it's a good spot for poke and everything tastes good. If you're hungry, definitely go with a large bowl and don't overlook that "special combo" as it helps you maximize value.

Good poke. Fresh, and taste so authentic. The place is little and feels so homey. We came in the evening and it was pretty empty for sit down, the people helping us were helpful and nice. My husband and I had medium bowls, and my son grabbed a chicken teriyaki bento box.

$20 for a large poke bowl is pretty standard but the fact that this place was so stingy with their add ons. 3 pieces of cucumber, two strings of carrots and so on. You're paying for the fish and veggies are not that expensive that they have to put so little. Disappointed. Also got the lychee slushie with boba and the boba was hard as pellets which means it's olddddd!

Some of the best Poki I've had hands down. It not only looks great, but it tastes amazing. I love how fresh the fish and salad/topping items are. The service was prompt and I loved how clean and artsy the space was inside. In the City of Cypress, this may seem like a hole in the wall spot from the outside but is truly a hidden gem! I enjoy eating here and highly recommend trying this spot.

Finally had the chance to try this spot today! I arrived at around 5pm and there was no wait. I ordered 3 poke bowls and 1 premium roll. The man who took my order was friendly and easily prepared each different poke bowl, and my premium roll was finished at pretty much the same time as the bowls were done. My salmon tasted fresh, and all the toppings were great quality too. There are lots of different options for toppings, and everyone enjoyed their food. I will definitely be back!

I'll start with the normal THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I recommend it to anyone who like sushi or poki. I've tried a lot of poki places and nothing even comes close. The people who work here are always so nice and helpful. I usually order online and the order is always ready and nothing wrong. Always a warm greeting when you walk in the door. If you choose to eat here space is a little limited but the private rooms are awesome and the music is fun and upbeat. The boba drinks are super tasty and have lots of flavor. Everything is made fresh right in front of you and when they do it with a smile it makes it even better. I come about once a week since it's so good here. Staple in my house. read more

Came in on Monday afternoon, and the location was a bit odd but the restaurant itself was very cute. They have a small outside patio with strings lights and photos hanging from those lights. Inside, it was very clean, nicely decorated and felt homey. I wish I remembered his name but the guy helping us behind the counter was VERY helpful and patient. My friend and I are kind of particular with our food and he was nice and accommodating. I ordered 2 medium bowls half brown rice and half salad, 3 types of seafood, all of the toppings, and added avocado for $1. Even after all of that the price came out to $20!! Other poke places I've been to that would have easily been a $30 meal. The bowl itself was delicious, staff was super friendly, and the price is right. Will definitely be back! read more

I love this place. Whenever I come here I get special combo because it's such a good deal. You get a small poki bowl and a base roll for only 11 dollars. This is such a good place for college students to eat because it's cheap and it's literally a block away from Cypress college. Although it's kinda hidden you can't miss the banner that is out in the front of the mall they are located in. Also, they give you a free miso soup if you decide to dine in. I love this place. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious. Overall nice quality food for nice price. I would give this place 10 stars if it was an option. read more

Talking about tiny topping portions. The cucumbers are sliced paper thin as are the onions. Asked the girl for bean sprouts and she literally puts on three sprouts. I asked if I could get more and she puts on two more. I comment as to her tiny serving and she looks at me saying "well" as in can't give you more. Just your typical poke place. Our go to spot for poki bowls. Everything is always delicious and fresh. The customer service is great. Daniel is the owner and he welcomes everyone like family. I have recommended this place to all our friends and families. My kids always get the usual (combo udon bowl with crunch rolls) and they know right away. Kudos to everyone that works there. Before I found this place i wasn't able to find a substitute for sushi to hold me over. This place changed my mind. Food is delicious and bowls are built just the way you want. My fiancé and I LOVE Poki Roll!!! It's a nice "hidden gem" kinda place, and I think that's why we love it so much. Don't get me wrong, this place gets busy, but it's not at all slow-moving and annoying like some spots. Their food is AMAZING! My fiancé always gets a Poké bowl, and I always get their Bulgogi bowl. Sooooo good! And they're not sheisty with the fixins either I've had their Taro boba drink and I love it. It's not super sweet like a lot of places; it's perfect. The workers are also awesome. We basically just love this place, and it's definitely our go to for Poké and Bulgogi bowls read more

My friend got the chicken salad sandwich with salad, classic scone, lemon bar, and earl grey creme tea (hot). The first things to come out were our tea pots. We were given tea timers so that we could take out our tea bags when time was up depending on how strong we wanted our tea, but I normally just leave my tea in the pot to brew forever and just refill with hot water (I'm so Asian). I did noticed that we were not provided with milk or sugar for our teas like at other tea places, but I was fine with that because I normally drink my tea plain. Both sandwiches were good, both flavors of scones had a tender crumb and were great with the cream and house made jam that came with it. When you walk in you're greeted like a close friend or family member, you're then greeted by their plethora of menu items, me and my girlfriend got the medium Poki bowl (3scoops) which at the time of the review is $8.50 not bad for a bowl of Poki! After you order they bring your food to the table which to my surprise comes with a complimentary bowl of miso soup! I'm sure it doesn't cost them much but it's more than the competitors would give. I'm very picky when it comes to meat and do not like fatty meat one bit. The bulgogi bowl I had, had no fat. I was very pleased to see & eat it haha.The flavor was great as well. In addition, they have poke bowls here with pretty good reasonable prices. I give it a five star review based on my dine in experience today (06/12/17). I'm always on the hunt for a good sushi spot, and I found it at Poki Roll! The food is fresh and delicious. The service is quick and friendly. And the pricing is reasonable--especially given how much you get! I love the Spicy Tuna Roll--it's full of flavor and has just enough spice to make it interesting without being overwhelming. They have various special roll too, so if you are not a fan of poki...Bulgogi, Korean bbq, chicken teriyaki, Donkazu too... They have private room. Total came out to 18.48 - definitely bowl shareable and worth the quality and portion received! The brown rice was warm and mixed with the sauces provided a sweet sour spice combo that was not overpowering to the fish and flavors overall Sesame tofu is a win! Somehow everything stayed in the bowl while consuming The gal helping me was incredible sweet and took her time making the bowl and being honest about the flavors of the sauces. Ensured I had everything to consume. Very welcoming and friendly she was. Would certainly return back to get yubu and try the other goodies!
