We get sushi burritos and bowls here from time to time and enjoy it! The build your own 2 protein option is my fav for the bowls. I usually get the spicy salmon and spicy tuna. It pairs well with the garlic aioli or ponzu soy sauce. You really can't go wrong though. I like that they offer a lot of crunchy add ONS like onion crisp and seaweed free of charge. Service has always been nice and the dining area is always clean when I go. Take out: I use their app and order pick up in advance. You can accrue points so on occasion, I get 9 dollars off an order which is pretty awesome. We noticed the bowls are better to go because the sauce sometimes makes the burrito fall apart more by the time we get home and eat it. I noticed that light sauce is still a lot of sauce so I switched from medium to light to help keep it all together for to go orders. read more

Knowing that this spot is right next to Gong Cha, we wanted to check it out. Coming back from Austin and the poké there I was hesitant, because it was just alright. But! Pokeworks did it right, because what I'm looking for is that the amount justifies what you're paying. When you're about to drop $15 for a bowl of anything you want what you pay for. Pokeworks does this. The protein is there and they even had the option of quinoa which was amazing! I would have gotten the salad base, but I realized that it wasn't the freshest. So basically you choose how much protein you want and then add your toppings. It's a lot of options in the toppings selection. Overall, if you're a fan of poké, this is a spot that should be on your list. There's a lot of options around the city, but I would say that this place is very convenient especially for the new town homes that will be built next door. I know this won't be the last time that we come here and I look forward to my next visit. read more

I really enjoyed the poke here! The spicy tuna and scallops that I tried were fresh and tasty. They also have such a wide variety of toppings, some more than other poke places that I have been to. You can get as many toppings as you want; the only premium I believe was avocado for $1. I definitely took advantage of the large selection of toppings. I got a regular poke bowl (2 protein choices) with white rice, spicy tuna, and scallops. The spicy tuna had large pieces of tuna which I liked, instead of a minced tuna. The scallops were the small kind but so tasty! Only downside is that they use a really small scoop so you get a pretty small portion of each protein. It was fine for me, but for the price and if you eat a lot, it may be too little for you. There are choices of sauce, and I chose the classic which was a ginger miso dressing. I really liked it because it was light and fresh, but maybe a touch on the blander side. I also added soy sauce to my bowl for more flavor. For toppings, I added cucumber, sweet onion, mango, edamame, hijiki seaweed, ogo seaweed, masago, surimi salad, seaweed salad, green onion, sesame seeds, shredded nori, and lotus chips. That's a ton of toppings and there were even more than I didn't get! They have a lot of variety of seaweed and I thought that was really interesting. Lotus chips were also interesting. The total came about to about $11.61. That's pretty pricey for the amount you get, since the portions are kind of small. The large size has one more scoop of protein. But I do think it was worth it since they have fresh and varied ingredients. I really enjoyed my bowl and I would definitely come back here. And if you don't want to create your own bowl, there are also set Signature Works bowls for you to order. They sound pretty good. The interior is also really clean and modern since this place is new. I love the look of all the wood tables and finishes. If you go out the back door, there is a really lovely exterior with seating and lights out in the yard. It looks like a small park and there was a good amount of people there. read more

I decided to check out Pokeworks for the grand opening and am sad to say I was pretty disappointed. I thought the prices were high for the portion sizes. I don't think they give enough rice and definitely not enough protein. The protein scoops are so small, although they do give bigger cuts of the fish than other poke locations, and the fish definitely tastes fresher. I like that they also have shrimp and chicken options as well. My other complaint is that my bowl was too overwhelming with the sauce. I couldn't really enjoy anything due to too much sauce. I had ordered "light" on the sauce, but as I watched them pour it, I didn't think that was light by any means so I can't imagine how much sauce "heavy" would've been. I only ate half my bowl and couldn't eat anymore. I think maybe if the rice portion was bigger, it would've blended better, but for how little rice there was, I definitely couldn't handle my fish and veggies saturated with sauce. I think Pokeworks will do well because of all the options they offer. You can choose from sushi or brown rice, noodles, or burrito instead of a bowl. They offer plenty of toppings and mix in choices and don't limit the amount of either that you can order. Avocado has an extra charge of course though. They also offer many drink options that they sampled while we were waiting in line for the grand opening! That was really refreshing as it was so hot outside. In addition to samples, they gave out free tshirts and sunglasses as well. 3 stars due to how well they did the grand opening and how friendly staff was. Considering Pokeworks just opened and this was the grand opening, I will cut them some slack and come back and try it again. I'm sure as any new restaurant, they just still have some kinks to work out. read more

Pokeworks was one of the first poke places in NY and have been one of my favs that I was thrilled that it made it down to ATL. At first, I had mistaken it for Poke Bar, which have been spreading like the "measles" in ATL that I might have forever looked passed it... Pretty odd that this chain have decided to nestle itself in the burbs but it's close by that I'm not complaining. Location is perfect in the new Peachtree corners plaza where families can grab a quick bite, dessert, movie, and/or just lounge around in the grass/lawn area. Think of Pokeworks as the chipotle of chirashi, where you pick and choose your fish, toppings, and sauce. I typically choose to make my own bowl so I can pick and choose from their wide selection of toppings. Salmon is my favorite protein and I like that it's premartinated in sesame sauce. For the base, my favorite has been the kale noodles, which are surprisingly really good. Ask for a sample if you want to try it out before going with it. I think what sets this place apart from Poke Bar is that they're not stingy with the toppings and the sauces are flavorful. For sauce, I go simple with sesame oil and gochochang sauce. This is the perfect combo where I feel like I'm eating hwaedupbop or jjoelmyun. While I have been avoiding raw fish lately, Pokeworks has ended this streak. read more

The explosion of poke is real, and I'm a fan! I feel like you see these poke places everywhere now, and what a treat. This particular place is pretty new, as a part of the Peachtree Corners shopping center across from the Forum. I went to the pool with my gf and daughter, and we all got hungry and decided to come check this place out. Glad we did. Poke is so healthy, and I love loading all the toppings and spicy mayo on it. The fish was especially fresh. I got the salmon and tofu, and I loved that they had mango pieces to throw in there. YUM! They also offer kid size portions which was perfect for my little one, who ate her whole bowl. I was so proud of her and she almost never finishes a meal anywhere we eat out unless it's sushi. Also, they have all kinds of different teas you can try...if you're into that kind of thing. This establishment is like all the others, pick your base of rice or greens and then pick your proteins, toppings, sauces, and voila. You've got your creation in a bowl ready to eat. I think this place stood out to me for the mango pieces and the freshness of the fish. I really liked it, and it's definitely up there as far as my favorite poke places. In fact, it's in the top two for me. I wish it was closer to my house, but then again, maybe that's a good thing so I'm not spending all my time here. Love it! I really enjoyed this place for lunch. Parking in the area was a bit tough. It's still new so it wasn't really crowded when I went in. I was going to try a sushi burrito because it sounded cool and I ordered with brown rice which they loaded into a machine that is supposed to spread it on the sushi paper. Unfortunately, the young lady didn't realize they couldn't be made with brown rice bc it isn't sticky enough and she clogged the machine up. I switched to a bowl so as to not hold up the line. You get two scoops of protein which can include chicken or tofu for non fish or meat eaters. This is nice as my husband is a vegetarian but he wasn't with me since I was on business travel. There are lots of toppings to choose from. They don't have the standard Coke or Pepsi fountain options which is kinda cool. I didn't see Splenda or sweetener for unwsweet tea. You can choose chopsticks or forks. I took my bowl outside to sit at the tables facing the park. It has lots of outdoor seating and the park has a slide and jungle gym. read more

I went to the grand opening today and it was awesome! Food was fresh and tasty. So delicious even my eight-year-old son enjoyed his Poke bowl too. Just keep in mind if you have children that won't eat the raw stuff, there are options for them such as shrimp, chicken or no meat at all! A regular size bowl was $11 you get two proteins and all the other toppings and mix-ins that you want. There are a few that you might just add a dollar more like avocado but there's plenty to choose from without paying extra. Poke has an amazing burst of flavor in a bowl. Sweet, tangy, spicy (if you like hot) flavors just dance in your mouth with each bite. If you like sushi, you'll love Poke. If you find it overwhelming to pick from all the different things to throw into your bowl, they do have several "Signature Work" combinations that you can go for instead. That's a great way to eat Poke if you've never had this wonderful experience before. Do know that they do not serve carbonated fountain drinks like Coke or Pepsi, expect a wonderful selection of flavored teas and lemonades as well as some canned and bottled drinks. I love this place a lot. I had two recent experiences I want to share. I come here a lot, but on January 5th, I came in about 45 minutes before closing. I wanted the salad mix, but container was empty. The young man who would have put together my poke bowl stated they were out. I asked if they had some and just not put out. He then opened up what looked to be a cooler. He stated they had "none". So, I asked if they were all out of the salad mix and he said, "yes". Okay I thought to my self what are they going to do for their customers the next day. I decided to find out. So, I visited the location on January 6th, much earlier around 3pm or 4pm. A lovely young lady, Elizabeth assisted me. I asked her if they had received an express overnight delivery of the salad mix. She looked a little perplexed, but she would check. I explained, because I had come in the evening before and was told they had no salad mix in restaurant. I then received a very important call and had to step outside. When I came back in I preceded to continue with my order, she advised, it wasn't that they had none, it was probably just not prepped. I advised the person could have just told me that instead of lying. All in all, Elizabeth took great care of me and I preceded to get a great poke bowl, miso soup, seaweed salad and spicy edamame. The proteins are always fresh, plentiful, and prep area looks pretty clean which I greatly appreciate. I also like the portions here and they don't nickel and dime you for everything. I ordered a poke salad bowl at another place and they totally skimped on the lettuce (who does that?) Only allows one topping and charges more for other topping, so SUPER grateful for Pokeworks for letting us pick as many toppings as we want! They also have a wider variety than other places. I'll keep my comments primarily about customer service and little bits of taste/ quality. The logistics: location is great! It has a bunch of different restaurants surrounding the area, outside seating... kind of like a small park, parking is rough but you'll find a spot. The -2 stars really just comes from their customer service. I get it, it's busy, there's people everywhere... HOWEVER, it is still your job, well common sense, to show people kindness. My friends and I went to the grand opening, and when we arrived the line wasn't long. There were maybe 5-6 people ahead of us... so why did it take 25 minutes for us to even start ordering our food? Also, why is your staff so sassy from the start? That's not how we want to begin our experience at your restaurant. They also ran out of a lot of things as well. I think if you know there's going to be hoards and hoards of people coming your way, you should be prepared. The food was okay. So no complaints there. But would I return to this location after the 'tude the staff has shown us? Probably not. read more

I love this poke bowl place. Sometimes I come out of my way from Lawrenceville just for their poke bowl. You get more choices than the other well known poke chains. Their food is fresh and they have this spicy sauce that is truly spicy. Some places they say something is spicy but it's child's play.. no not this sauce it's very spicy! I like it. I am usually hesitant to try new poke spots as the quality of fish and toppings can vary greatly from place to place, but we decided to give Pokeworks a try. I was pleasantly surprised how easily customizable the ordering was, even through UberEats. Each of us was able to pick and choose all the toppings, bases, sauces, and meats we wanted with no issue. They also had great kid friendly options as the kids bowl comes with choice of meat, white rice base, and edamame, mandarin orange, and mango and then you specify what you want to remove (cus, kids are picky, unfortunately) and whether you want to add any sauce. Love an affordable, customizable kids option that is still nutritious filling and not dumbed down. My only real complaint was that my bowl was overly sauced, but it was all delicious so again no real issue. Will definitely order from here again. read more

I love coming here for work lunch. Their seafood is very fresh and the portions are great! They also offer a nice variety of toppings (pineapple, mango, ginger, seaweed salad, surimi salad, etc). The staff is very patient as you stand their figuring it out what you want. I recommend the 2 protein bowl with sushi rice, salmon and spicy tuna. I appreciate that their spicy tuna is cubed chunks of tuna in spicy sauce and not the mushy spicy tuna. You can also get a poke burrito versus a bowl. The sauces they offer are very delicious and I haven't not liked anything I've tried. You can tell them what level of sauce to add so it can be drowned in sauce or lightly drizzled on. I recommend the umami, sweet shoyu, and the ponzu sauce. I've been to other poke bowl chains and this one is the most delicious I've had. If you order online ahead of time, they'll get your order super quick. This makes it so convenient for work days. read more
