I get it that we are paying for the atmosphere here but you can't even get a cup of water. With my second visit I was hoping maybe it was the server that was being light handed, and nope. Eh! I was waiting impatiently for this spot. I've been spoiled with my Poke in Oxnard. Large scoops of fish & generous portions. This spot was mostly rice. Very little fish, hardly any crab/seaweed salad and for me .. does not size up to our local mom and pop shops. Not the bang for my buck. Yes, it was fresh. Pokeworks has entered the chat...at the Collection (Annex Food Hall). It's their grand opening week and honestly, you'd never know it. The line moved fast, the staff were friendly, and everyone seemed super knowledgeable, they answered all my questions like pros. What I love about this spot is they've got something for everyone. Whether you're craving fresh poke or a grilled protein rice bowl, Pokeworks has you covered. There are many times I've wanted poke but someone in my family maybe doesn't eat raw fish and we had to choose other places but that won't be an issue here. They have awesome Hawaiian bowls with Huli Huli chicken or teriyaki salmon. Such a great concept having both poke and some cooked dishes. I came in and ordered a regular sized poke bowl. I had spicy salmon + regular salmon, and it was fresh, healthy, and delicious. Added a little cucumber, crispy onions, seaweed salad, and corn just to add a few topping choices. My poke bowl was a solid 10/10. Also I couldn't resist trying the grilled Dynamite Shrimp over white rice with mac salad too...spicy, filling, and flavorful. A total win if you're craving something hot off the grill. And a huge shoutout to the awesome team Cami, Michael, and Johnathan for making my first visit an A+ experience. The last time I came here was to eat on my lunch break on Wednesday and the manager (Im assuming), was just yelling at all the employees in front of all the customers! I attempted to order their new menu item, the Dynamite Lobster Bombs, and was told, "I'm out of those and I'm busy right now, you'd have to wait 10 minutes." There was only one person in line behind me at the time, so the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. I was confused because preparing that item didn't seem any more complicated than making the bowl orders they were already serving. Told myself 2026 was the year I'd start eating seafood again after years of not having it due to just being picky. This is the first full seafood meal I've had of the year and I fell in love! The experience was fun thanks to Tristan! He provided very friendly service and was patient with us figuring out what we wanted since it was our first time here! We were very excited to try out the new poke place, but ended up being disappointed... We got a large poke bowl, it came with 3 scoops of fish and toppings of your choice. The scoops were all very small, so the large bowl ended up being quite small (for $19). The salmon also had a weird taste and wasn't very fresh. The service was fine, and it's located inside of the Annex, so it has a decent environment. Overall, I don't think we will come back, due to the small portions and quality of food. read more

I love coming here for dinner! When I come it is usually the two same people, Adam and Eris, who are both extremely helpful and kind. I have been served by others as well who are equally as great. They make my bowl look so pretty! Yummy food, much higher quality than some other places I have tried. It can be a little loud sometimes because they are in the Annex Hall, but I don't really think it is much of a bother. I like that the employees seem to always be cleaning. Very nice to see at a food place! You would be surprised at how many places don't look clean--or maybe not surprised, they are too common! Will continue to come back. read more

This Poke Bowl place is in the Annex Food Hall at the collection. As of this writing I can't in good faith give this location more than two stars. Maybe it was an off day or something but we paid $21.00 for a regular bowl and got an abysmally small portion of food. Even when asking for toppings the amount given to us was ridiculously small. The workers were plenty nice and the atmosphere is that of a food hall....busy and loud. I just wish they gave you more food for the cost. read more

I've given this place 4 separate chances and each time I have walked away very disappointed. 3 times I have mobile ordered a pokerito well in advance (30-45 minutes ahead) and each time we walk up to the cashier and no one acknowledges our presence for at least 3 minutes, the longest one was 6 minutes. Not a hello, not a "be right with you" not even a nod. Once they would help us, they would be not polite or friendly at all. They have also helped people who got there after us each time. People mobile order when they need things quickly, I suggest making a separate space for them to pick up their orders. One of the times we ordered 40 minutes before and once we got there our pokeritos were not ready and they asked us to wait another 15 minutes but we had a movie to catch so we just asked for a refund. They said they could not do it without their manager there, but they "informed" him and the refund should show up in the next few days. That was back in December and as of today (Feb 18) still no refund. That's $30+ worth of food that we never received or got reimbursed for. The thing that really set me off to write this review though is when my boyfriend went in last week (Feb 10th, 12:30pm) to order for us. He went in and asked if he could order a pokerito and the lady who was working the counter told him, "Sure, but that's the hardest thing for us to make." in a very rude, sarcastic tone. I have been in the food service industry for 8 years and I would never ever respond to a customer like that, no matter how "hard" the task was to do. I have called several times asking for the manager to try to get this settled before writing a review but each time I am told they aren't working at the moment. Not sure if that's the reason why the employees feel entitled to act so wildly unprofessional, but definitely seems like it could be related. You would think for an establishment that's pretty new with a lot of competition around that they would be putting their best foot forward. The food is actually very good which is why I kept coming back and giving chances, but as of right now I do not plan on spending my money here again. read more

A bunch of kids working here. Came here on a rainy day, starving, just wanting some hot soup. Received cold, chicken miso ramen. Lukewarm AT BEST. There was one young man working the whole front (taking orders, making them, and cashier) by himself. I look in the back and there's multiple people in the kitchen on their phones/ eating. I have worked in the food industry for the last 10 years and this is so not ok. Eating/ being on your phone needs to be done elsewhere, not where other food is being prepped. When I asked if I could please have the soup warmed the young man told me "sorry we can't do that". I then asked to talk to a manager and received the same answer. I got met with "we don't have a microwave". I asked for a new soup, since I had already paid for it and couldn't get a refund. I applaud the young man for working the line/ cashier by himself and keeping his composure. Although the manager seemed annoyed or bothered that I didn't want to eat cold soup. Was my first time here and was just extremely let down. Will not be recommending this place to anyone! read more
