Good if you are hungry--the bowl I got had a lower than average amount of protein for the price. I got a large build your own with all the fix-ins! Decent amount of ahi tuna and salmon of good quality. Their bowls would benefit from a quality check just because one of my bowls wasn't properly closed. I think they accidentally put wasabi in mine because I started choking on something spicy though :( They also forgot salmon in my other bowl. This is my go-to place for Poke in the area. Whenever I'm in RTC and hungry, Poke tops the list in terms of speed, taste, and convenience. I always ask for a medium sized create your own bowl with salmon ahi tuna and scallops. I add the spicy saice that combines a bunch of their ingredients and ask them to wrap it up to-go. I have only dined in there maybe 1-2 times - most other times I order to-go. They also take orders ahead on their website which I find helpful. We didn't check our order while picking up and once we got home realized one order was wrong and portions were skimpy. I called about the incorrect order and they said there was nothing they could do - no redo of order, no credit, no refund. I'm pretty disappointed by this level of customer service. If you're new to poke, I suggest ordering one of their signature bowls! I can see how it can be kind of daunting to know what to mix in if it's your first time with poke - which may utterly ruin the whole experience for you. Personally, I am in LOVE with their Spicy Sunflower Poke. For the price of $11 for a small bowl, I find it extremely reasonable. I usually get full after eating half the bowl and then store the rest for the next day (it's still fresh and good eating it after refrigerating). Also, for the Spicy Sunflower Poke bowl, if you don't like big chunks of tuna, you can ask them to replace the tuna chunks (ahi tuna) with all spicy tuna. I do this pretty often and actually like it better that way! Just a personal preference though. I also ask them not to add in any pineapples since I don't like the taste of it and thinks it clashes with everything else. I've ordered from PokeHub dozens of times, usually looking for healthier food options in RTC. They have always been super consistent with the amount of food and quality provided. Recently during COVID, I have also placed orders with them a few times for pick up and the food is always prepped and ready pretty fast! The fish isn't very fresh. We've ordered twice from this place in the past week, and we won't be ordering again. The first order was fine, except the fish wasn't the freshest like I said. In the second order today they barely added any fish even though it was basically the same order as the first time, with 3 proteins, and when we called to complain they pretended not to speak English and then hung up on us. RESTON TOWN CENTER, VA QUARTERLY LUNCH +I have been getting a Small Bowl (2 scoops of protein) with half white rice and half kale/spring mix these past few visits; and I must say, the serving portions are very generous. +I like how they toss a portion of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl prior to packing it in the container. +The fish is fairly fresh and they're pretty consistent with the quality of the freshness, which means they are on par with seafood temperature management. +The sauces are unique and compliment the ingredients very well. -No loyalty rewards program. -Limited seating. -Parking can be challenging, since it's at the Reston Town Center (various parking garages which require payment). I would visit this place on a monthly or even bi-weekly basis, if they offered a loyalty rewards program; i.e., LevelUp. I think they could also benefit from offering sushi burritos, nigiri, and sushi/sashimi as well. If you work in the area or close by, check them out!!! read more

This place was very good when I started going in 2021 and has gotten bad over the last couple years. Today I ordered a pone bowl with kale and 3 fish, it looked lime they only did one scoop total - it had almost no fish. What you see in the picture is it. Very disappointed. Ordered for lunch and they charged me $40 for two poke-bowls mediocre quality and they forgot to add half of the ingredients... when I reached out management for a refund they would refuse to give it to me. 2.5 stars. I'm a little disappointed that this mediocre poke place replaced Iceberry. Iceberry was a ice cream and frozen yogurt place that I actually liked. The poke here actually looks good, but unfortunately taste-wise it didn't meet the expectations as well. The staff is here is friendly and helpful at least. I thought $11 including tax for 2 SMALL scoops of protein (raw fish) was a little pricey. So it's definitely not worth to get 3 or 4 scoops because its like $2 dollars more each scoop. They give a lot of rice tho.... and WASABI, but I'm glad they put that on the side. I don't like how they don't marinate/soak the protein in sauce. The tuna practically tasted like nothing. I also had this weird fishy aftertaste after my meal so that was not pleasant. I feel like their fish is not the most fresh/best quality. If you want better poke, go to Leid in Tysons. Once we got the hang of PokeHub, we really got to like it. The first time we went, we didn't fully understand how things work. On top of that, they play loud music and the acoustics are bad. So, between that and the large sneeze guard, it made it very hard to ask questions or understand what was being said by the employees. Needless to say, the poke bowls we created, while not bad, could have been better. Nothing got mixed together plus the sauce was placed under the rice and the portion of sauce was stingy. The second time around, we managed to hit the place when it wasn't at all busy. This time, the music wasn't so loud so it was easier to communicate with the employees. We both chose rice for our base. You can also do a taco or a salad and what they call "chip". Then we chose from the assortment of veggies. After that, on to "nemo" (fish). Then "top it off". This time we knew to ask them to mix up everything in a bowl and and plenty of shoyu sauce (our choice of sauce). The result was much better. Not only because there was more sauce but we added more items to our bowls. We've found that the small bowl was quite adequate for us. The cost of two small bowls plus a Pellegrino water to share came to about $24, making this a cheap and filling meal. We will most certainly be returning. Next time, we just might add more items---if not more, perhaps try some different items. The seating area isn't very big but since we go for early dinners, we've never had a problem finding a seat. We think PokeHub is a great addition to Reston Town Center! read more

This review is only for our 2nd visit this evening , which, for me was more disappointing than our first. For the most part, PokeHub has really great potential and I will end with my list of positives. So, the unpleasantries first... We find ordering from their website to be confusing. We consider ourselves to be blessed with better-than-average intelligence but PokeHub's menu is likely failing to capture more consumers by not making it more "user friendly", especially by not defining sauces and stating many ingredients more specifically (i.e., ginger...is it picked ginger?) This evening, I added avocado to my order and had to cut it with a knife and fork. It was that unripe. For my build-your-our-bowl, I also checked brown rice and spring mix as my base (also noted on our receipt) but only brown rice was included. I did check the contents of our (wet, soggy bag) pickup order but I wasn't willing to go that far to dig and mess up my dinner, given that it was stated correctly on our receipt. The first time we ordered, sauces were included in covered small containers for us to add ourselves; therefore, I expected the same this 2nd time. Unfortunately, this was not the case--the wasabi mayonnaise was mixed all through. Another disappointing inconsistency for PokeHub. And the clerk at the counter was kind in making an apology, at least. Closing with the positives, the food is very good. The choices for ingredients are plentiful, fresh tasting and healthy. It's not cheap but I have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch, if I can figure out how to disguise the overwhelming wasabi mayonnaise (sigh). My concern after tonight's experience, and given the lack of "crispness" within a food industry with stiff competition vying for our attention, PokeHub has some serious "poke hustle" ahead. read more

Seriously so good! I chose a rice bowl with ahi and added the classic sauce. I will definitely be coming back as a regular! I loved that they had water to offer that was infused with fruit. This is the place where I tried my first poke bowl and I am hooked! I am craving it as I am writing this review. Their bowls are pretty filling and every spoon has a nice bite to it. I love their salmon bowl with extra ginger and fried onions! This is one of those places that needs to be experienced because I am falling short of words to bring out the goodness of a well done poke bowl! Came in and sort of had an idea of what I was looking for, having been to other similar places in the DMV. I ended up getting the bowl with half rice, half salad (romaine) and then had a variety of toppings added, and I chose the 3 scoops (the medium) and got a scoop each of the Ahi Tuna, the Salmon and the Shrimp. Asked for a recommendation of dressings. I got the Yuzu Ponzu and the Sesame Shoyu and topped it off with some Fried Onions and Avocado. All mixed together, a bowl of total yumminess! I plan to eat here several times a week. Food is good, prices for what you get are reasonable. Fish is fresh, tasty, flavorful. I'm glad Reston Town Center has one of these great restaurants. I love poke. There aren't many places in the DMV that offer it, so it's tough to really compare. If you're like me and you live in the Herndon/Reston/Sterling area, then pokehub is an ideal place for convenience purposes. If you live in the Fairfax or Annandale areas, I'd probably recommend going to pokeworks in The Block in Annandale instead. Regardless though, you won't be disappointed if you decide to go to pokehub in the Reston Town Center. The fish is fresh and the poke is delicious. Ironically my favorite thing at pokehub isn't even the poke. I think their eel bowl (unagi) is easily their best dish and among the best eel I've had. Poke (Hawaiian raw fish salad) joints have been popping up all around the DMV and it's refreshing to know there's one in RTC now! This one isn't too different from the other ones where customization is an option. Instead of the poke bowl, this one does offer the burrito, taco or chips options which I do not see with some of the other ones. I do think I'm spoiled when it comes to poke. I've had really fresh and quality bowls of fish in Maui. Of course none in the DMV will compare. But having several poke from food trucks and various vendors in DC and VA, I think this joint is about average. I do wish they have more variety of toppings like some of the other poke places I've been to in the area. But that's a personal preference. Overall, still good poke. The space was bright and clean.
